I am extremely unhappy with the service I received from Olympic this week 7/31/2024. Brought my daughter's Cadillac in on 7/29 I told the gentleman there was an issue with the driveshaft and left the car. I got a call from Aaron and he told me the engine and transmission mounts needed to be replaced, I explained that I felt it was the driveshaft and why - he told me the loose mounts could cause the driveshaft to move and create the noise I was hearing. He quoted me 1500 for the repair and said if parts were available my car would be done at business close, if problem with parts the following day. When I had not heard back I called the following afternoon and Aaron told me he hadn't touched my car because of an emergency and it would probably be Wednesday before it was ready and he would call. He called that evening at 5pm told me repair was done but he needed to test drive in am and would call when complete. Wednesday around 12:30 I still hadn't heard from Aaron so I called and was told and adjustment needed to be made and car would be ready in 30 min. When I arrived Aaron was behind the counter and explained that he had to replace the DRIVESHAFT and that he didn't call to ok the work because he was under the car and it had to be done, that my new bill was 1800 but said he gave me a discount. I told him that I stated when I brought the car in and when I spoke to him that it was the driveshaft, he told me that he didn't hear the driveshaft on the first test drive, that he was sorry he did his best. He then talked about that he doesn't try to rip people off and that he runs an honest shop. I don't feel that this was malicious or an attempt to rip me off, however, I stated the driveshaft was the issue from the start and at the end of the day it was the driveshaft. I paid a total of 918.00 (engine mounts) for a repair that was not needed at this time and more importantly not what the car was brought in for. I feel at a minimum I should not have had to pay the 378 in labor for the mount replacement that wasn't the issue, and btw he did not replace the transmission mounts that were included in the original quote because he said it wasn't needed. This was a one day repair that took 3 days and as far as the discount I've found the driveshaft part 975-426 ranging between 450-700 he charged me 500. As I stated earlier I don't feel this was an intentional rip off, a misdiagnosis was made and my verbalizing that it was the driveshaft was clearly disregarded. I feel the labor should have been deducted for the repair I didn't need but that was not the outcome so after consideration I felt I needed to leave this review so others will know to strongly advocate for themselves.

The owner, Bob and his son Aaron were extremely friendly and their quote was so much less than several other places I tried.

The van had ongoing suspension issues, vibration, and brake noises that made driving stressful--and sometimes frightening. We went from shop to shop, but the results were always the same: slightly better for a while, but never fixed. Anytime we returned with concerns, we were treated like a burden. We kept hearing, "that's just the way these vans are," while our tires wore out quickly and the noise got louder. It left us frustrated, worried, and unsure what to do. We searched again and found Marty's Automotive Longwood. We were skeptical, but from the moment we walked in, we could tell it was different. They listened. They asked smart, relevant questions. They took our concerns seriously. And they showed real confidence that their team could solve the problem. They communicated with us immediately and kept us informed throughout the repair process--something we are absolutely not used to. They set expectations honestly and delivered exactly what they promised. We dropped off a van that felt unsafe...and within a few days, we picked up a vehicle that drives better than it has in years. The improvement was dramatic. There was no pressure to do extra repairs, no upselling, no talking down to us. Just respect, honesty, transparency, and excellent workmanship. Marty's Automotive Longwood has earned our complete trust. We'll be regular customers from now on and confidently recommend them for any of your repair needs.

(1 Star) - Absolutely Avoid This Place!…read more I took my 2005 Ford Escape to ASAP Auto Repair on March 28th for a FREE AC check using a coupon from their website. I scheduled an appointment for 9:00 AM and arrived on time, only to be told it could take "a couple of hours." Since this is my only car, my wife and I walked to a nearby shopping center while they worked on it. They called me shortly after and said my AC had no freon, and in order to do the test, they had to add freon, which I would be charged for. I was fine with covering the cost of materials, but I assumed labor was included in the free check--as any reasonable customer would. When I arrived back at the shop, they hit me with a $201.91 bill for freon and labor. Then they told me there was a leak in one of the hoses and wanted an additional $646 to repair it. At this point, I was shocked. I came in for a free AC check and suddenly I was looking at an $800 AC repair bill! Since the AC was blowing cold after the recharge, I declined the extra repair because I simply didn't have $800 on the spot. The next morning, I hadn't even driven the car anywhere, but when I turned it on, the AC was blowing hot again--meaning the freon had already leaked out. So what exactly did I pay $201.91 for? Absolutely nothing. It was as if I had walked in, handed them $200, and walked out with the exact same problem. I went back and spoke to Tim, who was incredibly rude, dismissive, and sarcastic both in person and over the phone. I explained that I felt ripped off since I was being charged labor when I used a free AC check coupon, and that I had basically wasted $200. He refused to budge, argued with me, and made no effort to resolve the issue. To make matters worse, I ended up fixing the issue myself for $10 per can of refrigerant, and so far, it's holding just fine. This business is a scam, using "free" check-ups as bait to charge customers outrageous fees. Stay far away from ASAP Auto Repair! I will never go back, and I strongly urge anyone reading this to avoid them at all costs.
