On the…read moredelivery day for the sectional couch I had purchased, it was discovered that staff at the store had mistakenly ordered a RH loveseat when it should have been a LH one. I was told that the correct one would be delivered within 48 hours. It was not. When I called the store number, I was routed to a corporate call center. They seemed lost but eventually gave me a delivery date @ WEEKS down the line. On the day of that delivery, nobody showed. I called the number again and was told that they did not have the correct item in the warehouse and would have to order it. I explained that this is what was supposed to have already happened. No one called to informed me that this was the case so my time was wasted. On the delivery date a week later (today), no one called or showed up again. Once again I called. I was first told that it could not delivered and the whole couch would have to be replaced. Then upon checking, he stated that there was a LH loveseat in the warehouse, but it could not be delivered until next week! I asked why, if it had been in the warehouse, it could not be delivered today but was told it was a paperwork mix-up and there was no room on any vehicle to deliver it until next week. VERY POOR customer service. Very frustrating. It will now have been over a month since I purchased it.

After chain store mattress salesman overwhelmed us, we decided to try a furniture store. The store…read morewas well lit, spacious, clean, and had plenty of furniture. We made our way to the back where the mattresses were. We were greeted by Marcus, who asked if we knew what we were looking for. We explained what type of mattress we were looking for and he was able to show us those models. We had mentioned our previous experiences earlier in the day and he understood. He got us some pillows and said he would be close by if we needed him. We tried it, and didn't like it much, so Marcus came back and helped us find some comparable options to what we had in mind. Again, he let us be, lying there on multiple beds for 10-15 minutes at a time. When we finally decided on our new mattress, he explained what options were available. Marcus was never pushy or "salesy" with us, allowing the time and space to make an important decision. A simple checkout on his iPad, scheduled the delivery and on we went. I think it's worth it to mention the delivery was also good. They arrived earlier than estimated, set up the frame and bed perfectly, and were very polite.

The organization isn't perfect and you may waste an hour because they have nothing you need, but sometimes you find gems, and if you're a standard size and just need some socks and water bowl for your dog, you'll find something. Prices are always good because that's the point. The store is clean by Ross standards, and most mess/disorganization is just customers rudely leaving things wherever. I've always been politely greeted when I go in and it sounds like other people are as well when I'm in there.

It's fun to browse and just look around. We both 5 gallons of great paint for a big deck painting project and it looks good 2 years later. My only complaint is that the prices have increased too much over the past 6-12 months. With the economy the way it is, increasing prices is not helpful for working families. Please re-consider these price hikes-after all, people are donating items to the store!!
