I googled flower shops in Olympia and found this one. There was such a variety of things the fit anyone's budget. I am not creative at all. Like zero. They had a selection where they can design and send for you. They pick the flowers needed, the design, all the leg work. They just sent me a photo and it's simply gorgeous. It suits the recipient perfectly and I absolutely know she will love these flowers!!! I'll post a pic once they get delivered but if you have any doubt, don't. And don't spend money on those chop shops. Use this place that shows they actually love what they do! I'm so excited for the flowers to be sent. Thank you so much!!!

At the time we also sent a 150.00 plus bouquet to the daughter of the mother we just sent the first bouquet., for it supposed to be flowers for grief and they didn't have any like the online pictures showed and the flowers they replaced because they're out of season were bright and cheery not what I wanted . The store also has some flower bouquets, plants, whimsical garden decor, and seedings for sale. The produce can be viewed and purchased in the next building in the parking lot. There is a minimum purchase of $10 to use your card. Easy to do with several varieties of heirloom fruits and veggies. I saw a red Barlett pear which I have e never eaten before. It was very tart compared to the green pear. Would I go back? Yes. I like the produce quality and variety.

This is a year-round Farmer's Market. While the produce selection is not large, there are some unique items that I certainly did not expect to find. One is Satsumaimo  (Japanese Sweet Potato). Grown primarily in Kyushu, Japan, fans of this variety search far and wide trying to locate a source. It is the (sweet potato) "pot of gold" at the end of the rainbow! There are also many items to check-out from local artists & crafters. If you are passing through Hoquiam on your way to Ocean Shores or the temperate rain forests of the Olympic Peninsula, be sure to stop here for sweet treats and unique items!

Hurricane Ridge is known for skiing, sledding, snowboarding and its many hiking trails. The mountain views from up here are just breathtaking. A lodge and visitor center stood here for 70 years. While preparing for renovation work, the building was completely destroyed by fire on May 7, 2023. Right now there is a temporary structure in its place that has working toilets. A ranger is on hand to give out paper maps and answer any questions for those that want to hike or explore the area. Sadly there is no food options or a gift shop here at Hurricane Ridge anymore. If you want to shop for gifts, you can visit the Olympic National Park Visitor Center in Port Angeles. They have set up a small table outside for those that want to stamp their National Park Passport books. The parking lot near the Hurricane Ridge Visitor Center is really spacious. You can also hop on a shuttle from Port Angeles for a couple bucks if you don't want to do the drive yourself. There are many trail options that range from easy to difficult for those that like to hike.

It is close quarters and you must walk carefully so as not to run into items, etc., this place is not for someone who has trouble getting around as there are tight aisle ways and potential breakables everywhere you turn. We took our time looking through the items, however, the YS was not as interested as I was. I didn't find anything I couldn't live with out on this day but I would stop back by again. The price points are high. Used Coach bags vary from $90 to $200, etc. Most shoes in the place were marked $70 and the YS found some Hawaiian shirts priced at $60. A little pricey but I think this place is geared for people that are not afraid to part with a buck or two. Stop in and take a peek, it's an interesting place.
