On his own, without my asking, he laid the bags all along the border between grass and flower beds. How thoughtful of him! After he left, and I fastened the picket gates, one by one I opened the bags and, with some effort, lifted each and shook out its contents exactly where he had known I had to. Shannon's is the best. My family has been using this business for at least half a century or more! Nicer people there aren't.

For the same services and still with beautiful floral arrangements, Floral Heights did the job perfectly and at a fraction of the cost. We had table centerpieces, bridal/bridesmaid bouquets, bridal flower crown, groom/groomsmen/father boutonnières, mother corsages, and flowers for the wedding cake. During our meetings, we altered the flowers a bit, and the end result was perfect. I could not ask for more. Flowers were gorgeous, fresh, and fragrant. Charlotte delivered the flowers herself and even helped me put on my flower crown. It was beautiful. Even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Dead flowers on arrival. Twice!…read more Ordered here because of the positive Yelp reviews. First arrangement arrived in January with the flowers already wilting. The flowers only lasted 2 days. They never bloomed. We thought it was perhaps due to the cold weather during delivery. We couldn't pull the flowers out because they had taped going across the diameter of the vase mouth. Hmm, why so many good Yelp reviews? Perhaps the last one was a fluke. I ordered the $150 Soft Blush for Valentine's Day delivery. Guess what? Flowers were wilted again. Bending at the neck. Flowers were rotting (see pictures). Even more tape across the vase mouth again and around the lip. Stems were cut short so they barely could reach water. Water was dirty. We disassembled the "arrangement" to pull out the dead, rotting flowers in an attempt to salvage the rest of the bunch, changed the water, but to no avail. By this morning (Feb16th), mold had already set (see pics). Fool me twice, I guess. Buyer beware.

Possibly the worst customer service experience I have ever had…read more I placed a birthday flower order online with Brooklyn Blooms on behalf of my company. I later called to adjust the note accompanying the arrangement and, to avoid any confusion, spelled the wording letter by letter to their representative. They still prepared it incorrectly. The arrangement was already two days late, despite being intended for a birthday, and we received no notification about the delay. Once I discovered the incorrect note, I immediately emailed Brooklyn Blooms explicitly instructing them not to deliver the arrangement under any circumstances and requesting that the order be canceled and refunded. From there, what should have been a very simple customer service issue became genuinely absurd. Brooklyn Blooms maintained that the flowers were delivered and the order was fulfilled. I disputed that because, to my knowledge, the intended recipient never received the flowers. Rather than resolving that discrepancy or providing satisfactory proof that the recipient actually received them, I was accused of making "unfounded accusations," characterized as a bully, and effectively called a liar for disputing their version of events. At one point, because I had placed the order under my boss's name rather than my own, I was also told, in substance, that I somehow was not involved in the situation -- despite being the person who placed the order, called to amend it, communicated with their staff, and was handling the entire matter on behalf of my company. So, to recap: I placed an order for a birthday. It was delayed by two days without notice. I called and spelled an amended note letter by letter, and it was still prepared incorrectly. I explicitly instructed them not to deliver it. The intended recipient did not receive the flowers as far as I am aware. And when I challenged Brooklyn Blooms' claim that the order had nevertheless been successfully delivered and fulfilled, the conversation became about my supposed behavior rather than resolving the actual problem. Their written response even included the line: "Your feelings are yours and valid; your behavior, however, was not." This was in response to a customer asking why a time-sensitive order was delayed, incorrectly prepared, allegedly delivered despite a cancellation request, and not refunded. If Brooklyn Blooms has verifiable proof that the intended recipient received this order, they are welcome to provide it. Until then, calling my complaint "unfounded" does not magically resolve it. I would never trust Brooklyn Blooms with another birthday, client gift, important occasion, or time-sensitive delivery. Mistakes happen. What made this experience extraordinary was how the business chose to handle those mistakes once they were raised. One star only because zero isn't an option.

From the beginning, Joyce (my main contact) and team were very responsive and patient. Emphasis on 'patient' because they sent me a proposal that I had revised over and over and over again because I couldn't make up my mind, I didn't know what I wanted, or I would see a new color rose on instagram and ask if I could use those instead. I told her my budget and we would go back and forth bouncing ideas off one another. If she thought something wouldn't work out, she would ever so nicely steer me the other way. In the end, she was able to create the exact bouquet I envisioned. The day before the wedding I had picked up two bouquets of flowers as gifts for our parents on the day of. I ended up disliking them so much that I chucked it and texted Joyce if she could PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE pick some up for the wedding (of course, I'd pay her back) and Joyce, being the nicest, sweetest, kindest person I've ever met said sure I'll try! Now, I know the day before and especially the morning of the wedding everyone's busy prepping for the main event but the fact that Joyce took time out to make two bouquets, went out herself or sacrificed someone from the team to grab a bride's extremely last minute request during their busiest time spoke volumes and is the main reason I recommend them to anyone and everyone.
