I told the gentleman to hide the bouquet in the paper so my friend won't be able to see the pink color until she find out the gender of the baby. Well there was NOT one peony flower in that bouquet. It was completely a wrong order I was given. I texted the number of the number owner later that evening. My message was read but there was no reply to follow. My three texts were simply ignored. I will never order from that place again. I paid over 100 dollars for a completely incorrect bouquet and zero response from the owner.

I ordered $100 worth of roses to be delivered the day before Valentine's Day, I payed extra for delivery and I tipped on top of that ahead of time ($140 in total). They promised over the phone that the roses would be delivered by 5pm. They never showed up and they didn't answer the phone. I then went to the shop and stood online for 40 minutes. When I told them what happened they then tried to find the roses and couldn't. They found a small bouquet of roses and handed them to me with no offer for partial refund but they offered me a used glass vase. They seem like nice people but I am just not happy with my experience.

And I'll also include the 5 day old farmer's market bouquet I bought myself for 18.00 as a comparison. The delivery was on time but I would never trust them with a flower selection, design again. I literally have never had as horrible flower shop experience until now. I've had flowers come late - but it was what was ordered smh.

Possibly the worst customer service experience I have ever had…read more I placed a birthday flower order online with Brooklyn Blooms on behalf of my company. I later called to adjust the note accompanying the arrangement and, to avoid any confusion, spelled the wording letter by letter to their representative. They still prepared it incorrectly. The arrangement was already two days late, despite being intended for a birthday, and we received no notification about the delay. Once I discovered the incorrect note, I immediately emailed Brooklyn Blooms explicitly instructing them not to deliver the arrangement under any circumstances and requesting that the order be canceled and refunded. From there, what should have been a very simple customer service issue became genuinely absurd. Brooklyn Blooms maintained that the flowers were delivered and the order was fulfilled. I disputed that because, to my knowledge, the intended recipient never received the flowers. Rather than resolving that discrepancy or providing satisfactory proof that the recipient actually received them, I was accused of making "unfounded accusations," characterized as a bully, and effectively called a liar for disputing their version of events. At one point, because I had placed the order under my boss's name rather than my own, I was also told, in substance, that I somehow was not involved in the situation -- despite being the person who placed the order, called to amend it, communicated with their staff, and was handling the entire matter on behalf of my company. So, to recap: I placed an order for a birthday. It was delayed by two days without notice. I called and spelled an amended note letter by letter, and it was still prepared incorrectly. I explicitly instructed them not to deliver it. The intended recipient did not receive the flowers as far as I am aware. And when I challenged Brooklyn Blooms' claim that the order had nevertheless been successfully delivered and fulfilled, the conversation became about my supposed behavior rather than resolving the actual problem. Their written response even included the line: "Your feelings are yours and valid; your behavior, however, was not." This was in response to a customer asking why a time-sensitive order was delayed, incorrectly prepared, allegedly delivered despite a cancellation request, and not refunded. If Brooklyn Blooms has verifiable proof that the intended recipient received this order, they are welcome to provide it. Until then, calling my complaint "unfounded" does not magically resolve it. I would never trust Brooklyn Blooms with another birthday, client gift, important occasion, or time-sensitive delivery. Mistakes happen. What made this experience extraordinary was how the business chose to handle those mistakes once they were raised. One star only because zero isn't an option.

This will be florid and a bit verbose, but it's all genuine. I found Lucy having absolutely zero idea what to look for in an arrangement for my mother's birthday, and my mom has a true green thumb with an eye for flowers. So, having a dozen questions and not a clue what to plan for, Lucy asked about two dozen, getting an idea of style, my Mom's favorite colors, how I'd have to keep the flowers fresh on a trip back to Massachusetts, the whole nine yards. The synopsis being this was as far from transactional as personal, rather feeling like a close friend was holding my hand through the process (blame being a millennial on having no idea what to do in arranging for an arrangement of this caliber.) Lucy's extremely communicative, welcoming, passionate. That shows clearly through her dedication to those she works with and works for, as well as for those she may know will only purchase once, for one occasion, and never again. Everyone becomes family. I got a rib-crushing hug from my mom; she can't stop mentioning how beautiful the arrangement is. Lucy had it delivered double bagged and prepped for a mta ride plus some car time. You're not just paying for beautiful flowers and memories made, but for unparalleled service and care. I received a follow up asking all about the experience, reception, everything. I can't say enough good things about Lucy's Flowers. Several weeks ago I ordered a bouquet for a birthday celebration. While I waited Lucy composed a colorful, balanced arrangement that absolutely thrilled the birthday girl. I was so pleased I ordered a table arrangement for Thanksgiving that my family couldn't stop complimenting. As I write this review two days later the flowers are still very fresh. They have opened up and filled my apartment with a floral/eucalyptus scent that remindes me of the wonderful time my family and I had. Lucy listened to what I wanted and used her experience to add to and improve upon my initial request. The Thanksgiving piece was delivered to my apartment on time and with zero fuss. I recently found Lucy's Flowers online due to the fact that every other location was closed. I have been looking for the proper florist since I have moved to Brooklyn. My main concern was finding a location where all the bouquets were corny, pre-assembled or required more time to customize. I called Lucy at 8:30 PM and she was ready. She knew exactly what I needed and went right to work. Around 10:30 PM that evening she had hand delivered the flowers to my door to surprise my girlfriend. Not to mention throughout the whole entire process she was communicating and giving updated on every step. I will for sure go back to Lucy with every flower need I have. WOW! I contacted Lucy two weeks before my wedding and the conclusion is that she is the best! I found her online. We never met and organized everything by email and phone. She exceeded my expectations - the flower arrangements were perfect, her responsiveness was amazing, ...I gave her almost no guidance and her arrangements were amazing! She managed to enlighten our wedding venue and perfume it with mint and sage - and all that on a very small budget. Some guests and I took some flowers back - they were to beautiful to end in a bin after only one night! Lucy's amazing. I called around looking for a sunflower bouquet on valentine's day (pretty much impossible). I'd given up, but Lucy remembered my request and called me back from the market, where she'd run across one improbable bunch of sunflowers. My best friend recommended All Season Floral Design because she had previously used them for her wedding. They weren't my first choice but they were at my price point and they were VERY flexible and now, I recommend them to everyone! From the beginning, Joyce (my main contact) and team were very responsive and patient. Emphasis on 'patient' because they sent me a proposal that I had revised over and over and over again because I couldn't make up my mind, I didn't know what I wanted, or I would see a new color rose on instagram and ask if I could use those instead. I told her my budget and we would go back and forth bouncing ideas off one another. If she thought something wouldn't work out, she would ever so nicely steer me the other way. In the end, she was able to create the exact bouquet I envisioned. The day before the wedding I had picked up two bouquets of flowers as gifts for our parents on the day of. I ended up disliking them so much that I chucked it and texted Joyce if she could PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE pick some up for the wedding (of course, I'd pay her back) and Joyce, being the nicest, sweetest, kindest person I've ever met said sure I'll try! Now, I know the day before and especially the morning of the wedding everyone's busy prepping for the main event but the fact that Joyce took time out to make two bouquets, went out herself or sacrificed someone from the team to grab a bride's extremely last minute request during their busiest time spoke volumes and is the main reason I recommend them to anyone and everyone. Fortunately, another friend had received flowers from FloraTheory and was more than eager to recommend the company to me. I'm so glad I went with her recommendation! The ordering process was easy and pleasant and felt very personal so I was confident they would get it right. They got the flowers to the hospital with great timing and the arrangement was just stunning!!! My friend's mom, who is somewhat of a floral snob, could not stop raving about them. Also, flowers stayed for a really long time, I ordered peonies and those gals do not last long...so I don't know what kind of WOO - DOO Flora Theory is doing but it was pretty impressive! So if you are looking for an exquisite flower arrangement to WOW your significant other or just make someone happy I'd definitely recommend FT.
