Chicken Caesar Baguette 3/5
Emoni S.

I first visited this cute coffee shop back in November for a content creator meet up! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was adorable, quiet and the staff were very friendly![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I revisited this location again this month and it has the same vibes! This time I came to connect for a business meeting and we ordered the Chicken Cesar baguette, hot chai, 2 macarons. The chai was actually really good, but it was a little lukewarm for me. I really enjoyed my tea pipping hot. The sandwich was pretty decent, but the baguette was very hard and crunchy I'm assuming they toasted it. I would order it not toasted next time. I love almond so I ordered the almond wedding and the staff recommended the champagne. I absolutely loved the champagne but the almond wedding didn't taste the way I imagined. It was good, but the champagne was better. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We literally sat and yapped for hoursssss with no interruptions. It wasn't busy, but you can tell this is a place patrons frequent for a nice quiet meeting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's really the perfect place to have conversation without all the noise that's happening in Union Market.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you come at a decent time you'll find parking, but parking isn't the best in this location. While we were there the staff members were creating customized macarons and in true business fashion we kept that in our vault for future events! I loved it here and I'll absolutely be back!

Solid macaron spot with a variety of flavor options, but on the pricier side for dessert options. The flavors were also very mild and didn't come through as strongly as I expected, especially the smores ones. Convenient kiosk at the mall and would be a cute option as a gift.

I was sent these as a gift and was very disappointed. I bit into one and it completely crumbed apart, making quite a mess. I tried another one, it did the same thing and neither one had any flavor.

Delicious macarons on the pricier side! They would be great gifts for Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, etc. I ordered from the Too Good to Go app, which I love that this place participates in so no macaron is wasted! I received 5 macarons for about $4.50, making it a little less than a dollar for a macaron. My favorite one was the fruity pebble like one. Sweet but not overly sweet!

I've been going to Olivia Macaron for a few years now and have never had a bad experience! Olivia Macarons located in Georgetown is a great stop to savor a special sweet treat! With a variety of flavors from Almond Wedding Cake to Chocolate Mint, there is the perfect macaron for every occasion. The macarons themselves are lightly crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. It's the perfect blend of flavor matched with a smooth cream-like texture in the middle! The store is extremely photogenic and is constantly changing its decorations. I loved the DC Cherry Blossom theme. Not to mention the colors of each macaron are absolutely stunning! Truly a great gift. The service is speedy, helpful, and always ensures you are satisfied with your purchase. While they are on the pricey side, these are high quality macarons that will leave you craving more. Highly recommend all macaron lovers stop by Olivia's!

Honey Lavender 4/5 Strawberry N Cream 4/5 Lemon 4/5 Price 4/5 Service 3/5 Interior 3/5 We went nearing closing so the staff was kinda tired and frankly the macarons were a little inconsistent. Some of the macaroons were crumbly and flaky others were a lot more moist. In their case the strawberry and cream was moist the others crumbled upon bite. This lead me to think that they were left out for long. Overall it wasn't horrible but nothing special.

Do you like Macarons? We'll say no more cuz you've got a friend in me, lol. Olivia Macaron is a Washington, DC patisserie/bakery specializing in French Macarons & they are DELISH! They began in Georgetown and are focused on offering the best French macaron in the DC metro area. Ana Claudia Lopez is the Northern Mexican chef behind these local yummies & she nails it! Hey, if my French hubs & his French friends love it, then you know it's legit! A wee bit of history: Ana comes from a family of entrepreneurs but she was a financial analyst for Freddie Mac during the time the financial crisis. She was worried about her future & when she couldn't find her favorite sweet treats in DC, she came up with the idea soon after giving birth to her daughter, you guessed it... Olivia! According to their website, they craft each macaron flavor to remind each one of us of a particular moment or feeling of happiness, love, & nostalgia. They have all sorts of lovely flavors like champagne, fruity pebbles, rose, honey Lavender, & salted caramel to name a few. There's a nice selection of signature flavors, as well as offering seasonal flavors. All their Macarons are 100% Gluten Free & ALL CONTAIN NUTS!!! FYI ~ They offer Nationwide Shipping - great for gifting.

Picked up some macarons here for a Mother's Day gift for my bonus Mom. The packaging is classy and presentable. I loved that they had assorted flavors . I bought one for myself and it was delicious! I look forward to trying out other flavors next time I'm in town!!

Uneaten macarons.

I came to my god parents house with a promise of tasty macarons and BOY was I disappointed. My godmother and I went to Olivia Macaron. They were dry, crunchy and unlike any macarons I've ever tasted. I definitely won't be coming back.

The macarons were over baked and had the texture of a meringue cookie which is completely off for a macaron. But the woman behind the counter was very sweet and helpful with choosing a flavor. I just didn't try one until I left not worth it for the money.

How beautiful is this vanilla macaron with the cherry blossom decoration? It's gorgeous and it was as wonderful on the inside as it was in the outside. The pink one was cherry blossom flavor and very good too. My friend also enjoyed her cherry blossom hot chocolate, you've got to come here this season and get this! The people working here were nice, even offered to help us take pictures. The decorations are also beautiful on the outside. It screams spring and I loved it here. A beautiful place with delightful treats.

I used to frequent this establishment regularly due to the creativity and seasonal rotation of flavors, but the inconsistency of quality and steady increase in price has changed that in recent. Not devising ways to keep up with a growing amount of at- or above-par competitors makes me sad; and I wish for a renewed passion that hopefully sees them return to what they once were (high 3 to low 4 stars). For those who visit, I must reiterate to no end: go for the different or less-consumed flavors. Life is too short to be basic, especially at these prices!

I am a huge fan of macaroons but not these macaroons. I got a variety of flavors and you can barely taste what the flavor was supposed to be and it was just straight sugar. What I was expecting was the flavor to be true to what it should be. Upon arrival, it is a small area for ordering and I felt rush because there was a people behind me and there was not a visible menu to see all the flavors to think about it before it is your turn to over. Was expecting great taste with all the positive reviews but it fell really short for me and it was not as good as other places I've been to like in Toronto.

The macarons are gorgeous and well made. They are very sweet though which sometimes overtakes the flavor of choice

We were lucky enough to snag some goodies and got a bit of everything, we just weren't patient enough to wait to photograph everything. We did the Za'atar Gruyère Croissant, chocolate croissant, the cheese biscuit item they had (don't remember exact name) and the sfogliatelle. I'm in search of the best croissant in DC, so I regret not getting the regular croissant on this visit, but the chocolate croissant gave me an idea of what to expect. Buttery, flaky, crispy, with just the perfect amount of sweetness. The typical chocolate croissant was my personal favorite. When we asked what the most popular items were, we were surprised it wasn't the more classic bakery items, but we enjoyed what we tried. We want to go back soon to try some other items as well. My friend got a coffee and also enjoyed that! This is the perfect place to stop by for a treat if you make it in time!

All the pastry was delightfully flaky and appropriately filled. Pistachio croissant was dancing on the edge of being a bit too sweet but went very well with my latte. Latte and cappuccino were nothing to write home about, potentially underextracted as there wasn't too much flavor coming through. Totally inoffensive and wouldn't hesitate to get another espresso drink if we were grabbing pastries again. Nice quaint limited outdoor seating. Had a nice chat while we demolished our goods right out front. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff that knows how to move the line quickly!

We went for a late Thursday breakfast (~9:30) and were able to find some seating but they were at 90%+ capacity. We crammed our group of four into a spot normally meant for 2-3 people. Seating is at a premium as there are people using the restaurant as a place to work out of because they serve coffee. It's a bit of an odd dynamic since people need to sit to eat and sometimes tables are occupied by laptops instead of dining patrons. The food: Lamb Meatball Shakshuka - I had the regular Shakshuka the first time visiting, since I wanted to try the original. Stewed tomatoes with eggs served with toast. I think the lamb is a nice upgrade since the meat cuts the acidity of the tomato, and there is just a lot of tomato. Strawberry & Raspberry Cheesecake Cup - this delivers exactly what I would want for a cheesecake in a cup. Cheesecake is in the middle of for texture between fluffy and very dense cheesecake. Sesame Latte - an interesting drink fusion - coffee with black sesame. I think this is fairly well balanced with it tasting a little like black sesame and a little like coffee. Pistachio and Ham & Cheese Croissants - we asked these to be heated prior to eating. I thought they were slightly crusty on the outside, inside was soft without much structure (a little flat). They were ok and I liked the Pistachio one better. Overall, a solid, clean and modern place to get a beverage or meal. They offer some unique items to make things interesting.
