    I've been a long time Oliver Peoples customer. I've purchased their products for myself and my family since the mid the 2000s. My father purchased a pair of glasses and prescription lenses at this location in late November 2019--his first prescription glasses as a matter of fact. The total cost was around $1385 with the lenses being $875, as he opted for the best quality lenses available. We still have the receipt with the original jacket (pictures posted). Since purchasing the glasses, the coating on the lenses started failing. We are not close to a OP store and we definitely didn't go to South Coast Plaza during the covid lockdown period/pandemic. I'm 100% certain the mall wasn't even open during the lockdowns and majority of 2020 and vaccinations weren't even available till spring 2021. We went to the store today to show the glasses and shockingly didn't receive any help or consideration from the staff. We even explained that we avoided trips to the mall during the pandemic and that restrictions in California were just recently lifted in California as of Feb 2023. 2 staff members (one was named Esther) suggested purchasing new lenses even though their hasn't been any changes in his vision. Another employee was extremely condescending (didn't catch his name but he was a man wearing a mask) and accused my father of cleaning them with a product that ruined the coating. My father explained to them that he still has the original soft cloth that came with the glasses and only uses an OP cloth to clean them. There was no apology or empathy, what-so-ever, from either one of them. As a matter of fact, Esther suggested purchasing new lenses since these lasted 3+ years. Ridiculous. The reason he purchased the best lenses was because he thought they would last a long time. I never imagined that OP wouldn't stand behind their workmanship---or in our case, the lack of it. It is obvious that the coating failed prematurely. I still have a pair of 15+ years old OP glasses from with lenses purchased from LensCrafters and the lenses are still good. Not that OP cares (clearly), but I'll never purchase OP products again. Never did I imagine that such a large luxury brand won't stand behind their work and value their customers. We didn't demand a refund or anything. We just expected OP to stand by the quality that they claim and remedy the situation appropriately. Instead we were treated rudely with utter disregard for customer service.

    After getting my favorite sunglasses badly bent by a coworker but also in need of some new temple ends, I stopped in at the store in Costa Mesa. Upon arrival I was told that entering the store would be by appointment only and was told that there was a spot open approximately 45 minutes from when I got there. I told the friendly young lady that I actually needed repairs on my existing pair. She immediately took my glasses and told me she could take care of it and told me that she would call me shortly. I went back about an hour later and lo and behold my sunglasses looked like brand new again. Not only did Eileen change out a bunch of parts including the noose pads and they temple end and she also perfectly adjusted the frame which was amazing. On top I was told there would be no charge and I was thrilled. This is what I call customer service, and this will be my go-to store going forward. Thank you, Oliver Peoples, not just for a great pair of sunglasses but also for your amazing service.

    EXCELLENT SERVICE! I've been to many fancy optical boutiques over the 30+ years I've been wearing glasses. Brian took excellent care of my wife and I from start to finish. It's nice to deal with just one quality person. We live in a time when bad service is abundant and outstanding service is becoming increasingly rare. Brian treated us like a business owner genuinely interested in our satisfaction. Our Aetna EyeMed insurance was accepted. My transition lenses are terrific. Our glasses turned out great. We are first-time customers of Oliver Peoples. Going forward, this is our new go-to place for fashionable quality eyewear.

The bathroom is equipped with everything a mother of a newborn or toddler might need. You don't often find seating for toddlers or supplies for mothers in pediatrician offices. When I went in for a consult, I was unfortunately not a good candidate for LASIK. Dr. Feinerman suggested another procedure called EVO ICL (Implantable Collamer Lens) that I was a good fit for. Despite the higher cost compared to LASIK, I was totally on board. I scheduled my surgery appointment afterwards and I was given instructions on how to prepare for the procedure (I had to put eye drops in beforehand). The surgery center Dr. Feinerman used was in Tustin (Barranca Surgery Center). I had a very early appointment and I didn't have to wait too long. The procedure took what felt like 10 minutes, but could have been way longer (the anesthesia worked like a charm!). I had my sister drive me home, there is no way you should try to drive yourself home after getting this done!! Immediately after the surgery, my vision had a noticeable improvement, with sensitivity to light. Over the next 3 months, my vision stabilized and I don't have dry eyes as often anymore. Dr. Feinerman and his entire team were a pleasure to interact with. Totally recommend this place!!
