Among other issues, these guys are happy to make you promises they never intend to keep just to shut you up and move you along. If you dare to be straightforward and ask them what happened to the promise when they don't deliver, they will jump all over you and heighten the situation to an argument where all their goons come out of the woodwork to argue you! Apparently when you've been around for a while you don't care how you treat any customers and that's a huge part of why reviews should be written. They are undoubtedly the all time champions of arrogance. I've seen and heard about poor business practices happening down there to several people aside from myself and it's seems like they're strangely against policy to just keep their word about following through with insurance claim issues. It's painfully obvious who they actually work for and who they are pandering to and it's not their customers! Watch out for the game they will play where they keep you in the dark about your auto claim questions (covered items in question) right up until the point they are ready to hand you your keys. The hope on their part being you won't have the either the balls or the energy to call them out on their shady business practices.. The last time I went there they never once called me with an update on my vehicle even after multiple calls on my end for updates on the situation and a promise from my ricks adjuster that they would inform me about a covered item from my insurance company. They never did however and ignored it completely! Even when the vehicle complete date went a week over their estimate they never called to inform me of any issues or reasons why it was delayed. It was "too bad" it's was just an estimate. It's a real "fuck the customer" attitude down there by the majority of the staff. A far cry from how it was many years ago when Rick was more involved.. They are now the McDonald's of Autobody's and your order is predictably never gonna be right! God forbid you stay on them and you call to get some clarity on the situation all you get is excuses and justifications as to why they don't need to keep you in the loop! Really bad business practices in that place and after a few bad experiences in a row, I wouldn't go back. Plenty of shops out there that would actually appreciate your business! Caveat emptor!

Page's has been around for years and always seems to have a steady stream of customers. Diagnostic and quotes are reasonably priced, turned around quickly and with a clear, honest explanation. I had a minor concern that I was unable to track down and (of course) it happened to go away while they were looking into and didn't charge me. Should it come back, they'll definitely get my business for that issue. The work they do is excellent and turned around quickly. Their prices were extremely reasonable and inline with my expectations. Our vehicles are critical. We need to get to work, go on trips, get to the doctors amongst countless other needs. They need to be running in tip top shape and Page's has earned our trust and we rely on them to keep our vehicles running their best.

I went in and was told to park in front of the last garage, where a guy would meet me. After waiting several minutes, a guy came out and told me to move my car, so I moved it to a parking spot, if you can call it that, since there was about 30 square feet of puddle. The guy hovered right next to my door as I got out, and then he got in without saying anything. I asked, "How long will it take?" and heard the response, "Five! Thirty-five!" I said, "So, five minutes, or 35 minutes?" And he said, "Five minutes!" So I said, "Okay, I'll be back in a bit then, going to go across the street." What happened next was like a scene out of a bad movie. The guy just kept shouting "35!" at me, like half a dozen times, while I said, "Yeah, I know, it's $35." "35!" "I will pay you when I get back." "35!" "Do you mean you want the money now? I don't have any cash. I have a card. I can just pay you in a few minutes when you're done." "35!" "I have never been asked to pay upfront for a car inspection before, is that what you're asking?" "35!" "I don't have cash on me." Finally, a full sentence. "You said you had a card, just give it to me now." I am not about to give my card to this guy, who looks and acts like he's drunk and clearly isn't carrying a card reader. I'm starting to wonder if he even really works there. So I say, "Look, I have never been asked to pay upfront for a car inspection before. I can pay you when I get back in a few minutes, because it's not like I am going to go anywhere: you do have my car. Or I can just take my business someplace else." Instead of responding, he just gets out of my car and walks away. So I go back in the front and ask if this is how they run their business, and the guy at the desk says, "Well I told you you needed $35." (No, he didn't.) I told him that the other guy had poor communication skills, and explained that I don't care if I have to pay upfront when it is clearly communicated in a way reflective of good customer service, and not just shouted at me repetitively in a way that isn't clear. At this point, the other guy comes out and starts shouting at me again, saying he usually says "35" three times, but this time said it five time, implying that I must be an idiot for not understanding what his neanderthal-like method of single word communication meant. The man I met told me he had been working there for his family over 20 years, and it's hard to find a better local resource than this for the price of a small tip and your gas. The station was very accessible and neatly kept right before the heart of downtown Amherst. You can pull in from either direction--just know what side of your car has the gas cap! All in all, I would tell international travelers, locals, students, and people of all ages and walks of life to go here. I'm certain they'll make you feel welcome and answer your questions, even in the bitter cold. Again, for full service gas, the price is low so mind to tip your attendant, 10% is a good amount and fits the current era we live in. The days where a single dollar was a good gas station tip were at least 30 years ago. :)

just moved to Wilbraham recently and needed to find an auto repair shop…read more a friend suggested Ken's so in the last two months I've brought my wife's and my car there for oil changes, brake work and tire sensor issues. each time they serviced the cars they got the car in at the time they scheduled, they kept me aware of how the repair was going and performed the repairs in a very professional manner for a fair price. the most recent visit was for what I thought was a faulty tire sensor, turned out to just need to be reset. they spent the time to schedule, analyze and fix the problem at no cost to me. the guys that work there are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful including the owner who is usually there working around the shop. the shop is well run with a vey spacious, clean and comfortable waiting area. anyone looking for an experienced, quality and reasonably priced repair shop I highly suggest you schedule your next repair with this shop, I'm confident you will not be disappointed.
