If you are invited to a dinner party and want to bring a unique and well-appreciated gift, look no further. You can easily spend around $20-$30 and look like a frigging hero. This is an olive oil and vinegar lover's DREAM. My folks and I strolled in here and had no idea I would be spending the next 30+minutes frolicking around in this store. The gal there was AMAZINGLY friendly and welcoming and explained what was about to happen. This store is loaded with about 50 different kinds of olive oils and balsamic vinegars imported from Italy. I no idea this many kinds existed ! None of the vinegars have any thickening agents or added sugar - which is unbelievable since some of them are like syrup and SO FLAVORFUL. Best part is you are able to taste test everything ! Think of the self serve yogurt places -- but sub in oil and vinegar instead. Since I can never make a decision with so many choices I got the sample pack of 6 for $25 to mix and match. WIN! I always look forward to the new flavors they have to sample and especially fantastic around the holidays the perfect place to get a gift everyone appreciates... Without a doubt the best balsamic vinegar I have ever tasted the best selection I've ever seen I love the thick consistency perfect is the only way to describe it... The cutest little oil and vinaigrette shop around! I live up by New York City, so it's not often we come by smaller shops with such a wide variety of oils and vinaigrettes, so when given the chance, I definitely splurge.. and this is definitely the shop to do so. They have the sweet, spicy and even savory for olive oils, vinaigrettes and even white vinaigrette, which is often difficult to come by! You could honestly spend hours just tasting everything in there, the staff is super friendly and encourages you to try as many samples as your heart desires.. and oh, my heart desires lol! Left with $60 worth of oils before cutting myself off. They also have reward stamp cards so after each purchase you work your way up to a free bottle! Would definitely recommend 10/10. This place is awesome! I was reluctant being we are in the middle of a pandemic, and I couldn't physically go to the storefront to try out their variety,of balsamic vinegar. The best EVOOs are almost always from specialty EVOO stores, not from super markets. Oilive-n-Grape, in addition to flavored EVOOs -- not my cup of tea -- has terrific traditional Italian EVOOs. I like their Tuscan San Lorenzo, for instance. Hope these nice people can stay in business and continue to supply New Hope / Lambertville with real EVOO. read more

Hands down, the best place in the area for balsamic vinegars! We have had tastings at a dozen or so olive oil and vinegar boutiques, but we always make our purchases here. The vinegars offered elsewhere simply pale by comparison. Among the many charms of Olive and Grape's vinegars is their rich viscosity, rendering oil unnecessary for salad dressing. Our balsamic favs include fig, juniper berry, currant and pear. I loved the idea of one of the newer flavors, lavender balsamic, but the bitter finish was a little too pronounced for my palate. The owners are wonderful and most helpful! Worth the pilgrimage to New Hope. And this is superb place for gifts that recipients will love and use. Guaranteed! read more

I never thought an olive oil shop could be this cool. Hell, I didn't even know there was such a thing as an olive oil shop! You can sample every kind of olive oil or balsamic that they carry in the store. The couple that owns the shop is really friendly and helpful, and they give you a punch-out card so you can get a free bottle once you've purchased 12. I've tried everything in the shop, but my favorite is the garlic infused olive oil. I cook with it constantly.... in fact, I've just run out, so I'll be heading back to Olive-n-Grape pretty soon! read more

Olive-n-Grape is awesome! My husband and I decided to take a road trip to New Hope and walk around for the day. While visiting another local shop, we saw a flier for Olive-n-Grape. We hustled over to see what it was all about. Boy am I glad we did. It's like an adult candy store. Dawn has a plethora of olive oils and balsamics including Cinnamon Pear Balsamic, Blueberry Balsamic, Vanilla Orange Balsamic, Citrus Habanero Olive Oil, Persian Lime Olive Oil, and much more. Feel free to peruse the store, sample, and let your taste buds come alive (don't worry, she has water to rinse the palate). We walked in just to look and walked out spending $60! Oops! Well worth it. Bottles average between $14.95-$18.95. The price is worth it for the quality. She also has yummy dips, pretzels, pastas, and flavored salts (we got some of those too). This place has tons of olive oils and balsamics with flavors that you wouldn't even think of. They also have many different types of spices and salts. Some flavors sound iffy at first, but once you taste them your world, and your cooking, will change (chocolate balsamic vinegar for one). obsessed. like, seriously. you NEED to try this place. i love high-quality flavored olive oils, so i was excited to try some out (and was hoping to find a good lemon olive oil)... but i hate balsamic vinegar, so i was prepared to stay away from that section. ...until one of the friendly staff members handed me a sample cup of mango balsamic vinegar and dared me to taste it. WHOA. it was so good- unlike any other balsamic i've tried before. naturally, i made my rounds and tried EVERY balsamic vinegar, and many of the olive oils, too. in the back of my mind, i was keeping track of my absolute must-have favorites to buy and was trying to narrow it down (because how many 12-oz bottles of balsamic and oil does a girl really need at a time? especially when they run approx $16)... and then i saw the back wall. it was lined with rows and rows of small mini bottles in just about every flavor offered in the shop... 6 small bottles for $28. (and they sell cute gift boxes for them too... because these would make an amazing gift!)... PERFECT! re-thinking my strategy, i picked up 6 mini bottles... and i can't wait to come back for more. my picks this time: 3 flavored olive oils: lemon, black truffle, and garlic 3 balsamics: mango, traditional, and white peach (a white balsamic) the staff at the store are incredibly friendly and love to talk about their product. everything is imported from italy and hand-bottled onsite. there are only 2 olive oils (butter flavored and bacon flavored) that use artificial flavorings. they will tell you their favorite pairings and will suggest recipes to try with the products you've purchased. no joke, this place is BYOB.. bring your own BREAD. they welcome visitors and taste-testers, and even suggested bringing our own things to dip in our samples next time (they provide small plastic spoons otherwise). you can't go wrong at olive-n-grape. be prepared to spend some time here (especially if you're as indecisive as i am)! read more

THIS PLACE IS A WONDERLAND. They have a fantastic selection, and not only can you try EVERYTHING before buying, but there are great tips on how to use each type of olive oil or vinegar. The white coconut balsamic vinegar makes for the BEST shrimp I've ever cooked. I've had so much fun experimenting with the 6 bottles I picked up in my sampler. I have never been to anything like this place in my entire life, but it is simply amazing! You try one and you suddenly can't stop with so many flavors all around you. I bet even if you don't like olive oil or balsamic you could find something here that surprises you and tastes good. The balsamic flavors are so sweet, they are practically desserts, and the flavors of the olive oils are really diverse and amazing as well. Beware the habanero, its hot but amazing! I'd say after sampling beers...this is probably the best sampling I have ever experienced. Can't wait to go back and most likely pick up a bottle for myself. read more

The friendly owner described this as a candy store for adults, and it really was. I wish they provided bread so I could get the true sampling experience but it was still great. There were sooo many types of oils and balsamics, as well as salt and some other items. Everything I bought was wonderful and I have forced everyone I know to try the Mediterranean Sea Salt (it does NOT taste like regular sea salt) and they have agreed with me.
