My regular doctors were unable to help me with a skin and inflammation issue that I've had for years, and after speaking with Dr. Korza and following her advice I was able to solve the issue. She was able to help me with supplements and nutritional advice almost immediately as opposed to years of multiple doctors not being able to help me. Most recently she prescribed that I do some blood work and it showed that I was one point away from being pre-diabetic and that I had extremely high iron/ferritin. Again, through her help I was able to get within a normal range, so I am no longer in danger of bing pre-diabetic and my iron/ferritin is down to normal levels. I am feeling much better now on a daily basis because of it, and by getting her expert care, I feel like I have avoided a future health issue. The regular health industry would have only treated me after being diabetic and having a damaged liver that was causing health issues. Thankfully because of Dr. Korza, I was able to avoid all of that, and become healthier now and for the future. I will continue to see her for any current issues that occur and for long term preventive health. I can't recommend her enough.

I have had amazing results working with Dr. Korza with regard to insomnia and hormonal imbalance…read more In fact, it has dramatically changed my life for the better. I was averaging about 0 to 3 hours of sleep per night when I came to see her and each month I endured so much pain around that time of the month. When I saw my Family Pracitioner about these issues she wrote me a prescription for Zoloft. Zoloft? I'm having 10 day periods, pain and insomnia......yes I know that's enough to make someone a bit crazy but why couldn't we just get to the root of the problem? At this point, I decided to go the holistic route and made an appointment with Dr. Korza. The first visit was awesome. No one had ever taken this kind of time to look over my medical history, food and supplement intake, life style, etc. When I came to her I felt uncomfortable, swollen and wrecked from being so tired. The root of the problem: Hormonal Imbalance. She came up with a plan went over it with me in her office and emailed me all of the details. I had to completely change my diet and removed soy, sugar, caffeine, alcohol, dairy, eggs, peanuts and wheat from my diet. I switched to whole foods, low grains and fruit. She also asked me to stop marathon trainings and do lighter, less exercise. She also listened well to me about how many supplements I would be willing to take so she made it incorporate very easy into my regimen and didn't overwhelm me with a bunch of stuff to take all day. I won't lie, changing my diet was a lot of work. And grasping the concept of not running 6 plus miles a day was kind of hard to take. But it was worth the time and investment for my well being. Here it is 10 months later, I am 15 lbs. lighter, I no longer have insomnia. (This is such a victory after struggling for nearly 2 years), my skin looks amazing and I feel so energetic. My pain went away each month and I now only have to deal with 5 days of bleeding vs. 10. I hit 40 and feel better than I did in my 20's! I have also figured out how to simplify my routine so you do get the hang of it and it does become less work after a while. In fact, I really enjoy it and am integrating nutrition into my wellness services at my place of work. There is no magic potion or cure. Dr. Korza will give you the tools to get you on the path to wellness but it is up to YOU to do the work. Remember why you came here and that YOUR health is absolutely worth the time and $$ investment.

For about half the month, I was deep in brain fog, exhausted, overwhelmed, and disconnected. Nothing really brought me joy, and my nervous system felt like it was constantly buzzing on high. The other half of the month, when I started to feel a bit better, I was mostly just recovering from how depleted I had been. It was an awful cycle. Working with Dr. Jenn has been truly life changing. She didn't just help me understand and regulate my hormones, she supported me through the full experience of perimenopause in a way that felt deeply holistic. She took the time to talk through the psychological, emotional, spiritual, and physical shifts I was going through, which made me feel seen and understood in a way I hadn't before. Now, I feel like I have my brain back. I have energy again. I can work out at the level I want, which is incredibly important to me as a dance teacher, and I feel happy and present with my child. Most importantly, I feel hopeful about my future again. I truly don't think I would have been able to make some of the big life changes I've been navigating without Dr. Jenn's support. She helped me get to a place where I have the energy, resilience, and clarity to show up for my life. I'm so grateful for her care and would highly recommend her to anyone navigating perimenopause.

For example, rather than cut out alcohol altogether, Saskia suggested that I only use half a shot of whiskey in a whiskey and soda so that when I ordered 2 drinks, I'm drinking half as much. Some ideas worked, and some had less success, but Saskia was always open to pitching ideas until they stuck. I have made so much progress resolving a variety of challenging health issues that Kaiser/Blue Shield were no help with and Eastern medicine made little progress on. My experience with Dr. Metz was a blend of a scientific approach (eg, a lab test to determine what bacteria lives in my gut) and plant-based medicine (plus diet and lifestyle recommendations) to get my body back in homeostasis, and my gut bacteria back into balance. It changed my life. I really can't recommend her too highly.

I came to Tammy because I was having a hard time feeling satisfied after meals and felt overwhelmed…read moreat figuring out an actually healthy path forward to improving my eating habits post stressful life events (and not just listening to folk on Tik Tok). Over the course of our time together, Tammy helped me to shift the way I thought about food, promoting simple but effective steps to take after each phone call together. She listened to my concerns and prior frustrations from working with apps and coaches in the past and never once nudged any boundaries I set down. There was no such thing as a stupid question and Tammy made sure I had all the resources, answers, links, and videos I needed to be successful in forming better habits. I really appreciated that she worked with what was functional and accessible for me--on a budget, without a car, limited freezer space, etc. Instead of reminding me to scoop out my morning bagel like prior coaches have, Tammy asked each call what worked for me, what didn't, and what helped me to feel satisfied at each meal. Then we'd find one thing to improve--adding more color to each meal or adding a "sprinkle" like sunflower seeds or olive oil to help a meal reach its full nutritional potential. I also never felt like I was on my own in anything Tammy suggested I try. Gotta make my own broth this week to cook with? Here are great places to get bones, here is a recipe to do it, here are instructions for your instantpot, etc. Want to start incorporating more fish into my diet? Here are 3 brands for tinned fish, a local catch market for seasonal choices, and recipes. I was able to develop sustainable, long-lasting healthy habits by working with Tammy and I find myself continuing to grow with her guidance even though our sessions together are over. After absolutely refusing to put chia seeds in anything for our 15 weeks together, the other day I ate them willingly because I thought "Tammy said these are good for me and I haven't had them yet." This was the shift I was looking for and I'm so thankful for Tammy's warmth, knowledge, and support. I'd recommend her in a heartbeat.

Second, you have to download an app to communicate with her Third, be prepared to spend ALOT of time taking pictures of the food you eat Fourth, She is expensive ($1500!) . Has an air-tight policy for getting paid monthly. So don't even think about skipping or changing payment terms. (Please note that I am not saying businesses shouldn't be paid and have clear policies, but tere was something about the focus which was "unsettling" to me.) Fifth, A lot of her advice was also referenced in the book she wrotereplicated (which comes with the $1500 when you sign-up with her!). After I got the book and read it, I then wondered why was I paying $1,500 ? I think you have to sign a contract. SO BE THOUGHTFUL BEFORE SIGNING IT !!!!!! Overall I was uninspired and never warmed to her or the process. In the end, I recommend that anyone selecting this type of service be fully committed. And if any of the points I have raised, resonant with you - think whether the benefits outweigh the price tag for them. BTW: Her book is great. Hence the three stars as it encapulates a lot of solid information.
