I had found Dr. Ashley while doing a Google search on where I could get my 4 month old ears pierced. We did a home visit, and the process was so smooth and easy! The longest part was the prep and identifying the correct location of where the ears should be pierced, but the piercing itself took literal seconds. My baby was not in any discomfort. Dr. Ashley was patient as we figured out a position that was best and the entire process probably took less than 30 minutes. I love that she offers home visitation for this process, being in the comfort of our home made it that much more relaxing. I can't believe I didn't leave a review the first time I needed Dr Ashley's help. My daughter was turning 5 and wanted to get her ears pierced for her birthday. She had her ears pierced before as a baby and ended up having to take them out when she was 1. I found Dr Ashley because knowing a Dr was doing the procedure and she was using medical grade plastic eased my mind more so than a tattoo parlor or Claire's. We went to her office. She had many cute options for us to choose from. She gave us clear instructions to ensure there was less pain with the piercings. My daughter did amazing with the piercing thanks to all the directions and clear explanations Dr Ashley gave us. A couple months later my daughter fell asleep in the car and caught her earring in something and it came out. It was red and I was concerned. I reached out to Dr Ashley and she gave us clear instructions on what to do to help it heal and put it back in. It worked great and everything healed nicely. After 6 months, my daughter chose to change her earring. She chose some earrings my dad got her that stated it was a nickel free metal. Her ear reacted to it and so we put gold earrings on her ear. They healed and everything was fine. Then my kid was getting her ear caught on these new earrings when hugging people. By the time I realized what was going on, it was bad. I called Dr Ashley and she came to the rescue again and went above and beyond. Wow, what a state of relief. We have been looking for a local pediatrician that has the children's interest in mind. Our middle daughter has had so many doctors appointments and it has created a fear towards the medical office and the white coats. Dr. Ashley is a wonderful and compassionate provider who truly personalizes the care she provides to her patients. My child was experiencing extreme needle phobia and was in need of a critical vaccine for school. After having multiple failed attempts at his previous pediatrician's office despite working with a child therapist and coming up with various plans for how it would go, he was still unable to safely get his vaccinations. This led us to look for alternative options. Dr. Ashley took her time to get to know my son through facetime and in person meetings which allowed him to get to know her and trust her. She worked with him to come up with a plan of his choosing; how, where, when the vaccine would occur. When the day finally came my son was understandably nervous but prepared and trusting of Dr. Ashley and the plan he had spent time practicing in an environment where he felt safest (at home). The preparation paid off and he was able to get his vaccination smoothly and quickly, it was over before he knew it. We have been blessed to work with Dr. Ashley over the past two months, and I can't say enough about the care she's provided our family.
