My garage door springs broke and put an inquiry on Yelp at 6:06pm. One company responded immediately from "Safety Garage Door Repair & Installation" saying they can do it between 7pm to 9pm. I waited for the guy to show up and around 8:50pm he texted me saying he can't make it. Ronnie from Cyprus also texted me saying he can do it the same night but he was a little too late initially. So I reached out to him around 9pm asking if he can do it and he replied saying yes and within 30 min, he was at my house and the repair was done within an hour. I needed an opener replaced and my door needed to be rebalanced (springs adjusted). Ronnie said he could install the opener I provided or he could buy it and I would only pay his cost. Every other place will mark it up. I ended up buying one and have Ronnie install it. Another shop wanted to charge me $250 to adjust my one door. Ronnie say he would do it for free because it was a quick job. He adjusted that and then I had him also adjust my second door which he also wanted to do for free. I gave him $60 dollars for this extra work. In the end I paid half of what I was quoted from at least 3 other people. Ronnie was very knowledgeable, prompt and courteous. There is a reason everybody gives him 5 stars. I can't imagine anybody ever giving him less than that. read more

Had a spring snap on our garage door at 6:45 on a Friday evening. Contacted a handful of companies on Yelp, but Ronnie at Cypress Garage Door responded quickly and offered to fix that same evening. Pricing was up front and straightforward. Most other companies were not available until the following Monday. Received a call when they were 10-15 minutes away and another when they arrived. My garage door opener was broken and was stuck. I ended up buying a side door opener but was missing some parts because it was use. I only realized that after Ronnie was here. Firstly he was not annoyed one bit even though I wasted his time by scheduling time without the right parts. 5 stars for repairing a bent track of garage door this morning! Track was bent because of an accident. The price was not the lowest among all quotes but it is fair. More important, tech responded quick and gets job done professionally and nicely. Tech arrived before 8AM, just about 20 minutes from first call, and completed the job in about 1 hour. If I could give Ronnie 10 stars I would! One of our "custom" sized springs broke on a Monday. After getting a serious runaround with a few vendors in our area, I got desperate and requested a quote on Yelp. It sent a request and I got multiple responses (most of them auto generated). Ronnie is the owner of this one-man crew. By sending pictures and the information I had on the springs he quickly sent lots of information and options within 10 minutes of the first text. What took others DAYS (and I'm still waiting to hear back from many of them) of going back and forth and phone calls...Ronnie was here and now I have a fully functioning garage door. He took the time to explain many options, since my 50" custom spring was nearly impossible to get he brought 3 shorter springs and explained the mechanics and did the calculations for our door and weight. He installed, inspected all parts, lubricated and showed us how balanced and the tension was set. The life of the spring may be shorter then the longer spring but at least he was upfront about it and left it to us to decide. None of the other companies bothered to explain, provide options or even seemed knowledgeable. Ronnie has worked for many years at Precision and decided to own his own business so he can provide excellent customer service at an extremely reasonable price. When the steel shortage is recovered we'll work with him again and install the long springs but for now our cars are FREE from imprisonment. read more
