Beautiful atmosphere. Service is always good and menu changes periodically. I alway enjoy dining is such a charming garden setting.

I am visiting family in St. Louis and have been to Oliva's a handful of times now. I can truly say I love love this place! They have very limited hours and really only do lunch and events/parties (outside those hours). They share a parking lot with an antique store so it can get crowded and busy. But there is also street parking. When you enter in they have a separate area where you place your order that also is a giftshop with kitchen knick knacks etc. Its super cute! They are very friendly and can answer any questions about the menu and also do modifications. The menu is lunch focused- sandwiches, salads, etc. You get a table number after you order and seat yourself. They have an outdoor seating area in addition to an indoor one which is across from the firepit area. Both are lovely! This time we choose to sit outside. I got the chicken and cherry salad (with all romaine no arugula) and my friend got the Turkey BLT minus guacamole. The sandwich comes with waffle sweet potato fries and a side of dipping sauce. The food is so fresh and always delicious! I have also had the meatball sandwich and that is amazing. The day we went it was really crowded so they took a bit longer than normal to get all the food out, which is understandable. Highly recommend this place! Overall experience 5/5

Oliva is going to be a repeat spot now. Their Wine Down Wednesday is absolutely perfect. The patio is beautiful with a nice set up, I love the walk up bar and easy way to grab waters, plus there is a cute cafe to check out! The staff was friendly and helpful in their recommendations and I can't wait to go back. Thanks Oliva :)

Mimosa!!! It is too good. I would have taken a picture before but I drank it a little too fast. Flavor amazing!

Food, drinks, service, vibe, ambiance, all good prices and amazing. HIGHLY recommended! The servers are so nice and quick. Definitely coming back and recommending to friends and family!

Such a cute place! If you have not tried this super cute, tucked away lunch spot, you are missing out. It is way down at the end of the street. You will think you are lost but you aren't! You order as you walk in and after you enter this beautiful patio with an arbor draped with wisteria. It is so beautiful! They have wonderful choices for lunch. Great, really fresh salads, quiche, soups. I had a goat cheese cherry salad and I woofed it down. It was so good. They have wine and beer, teas and other drink choices. Staff is friendly and attentive. An added bonus is the antique mall next door. Go in and see some interesting things! The hours are only until 2 (I think). Wine down Wednesdays are popular so check that out!

Love, love, LOVE!! I'd been hearing such good things about Oliva's Wine Down Wednesday & finally made an appearance. Great beverage selections & the food menu (while limited) has some truly delicious options. You've got to try the flatbread & spinach artichoke dip. They have 2 outdoor patio options--one in the sun & one covered courtesy of wisteria (quite lovely). The indoor seating is great too! They had plenty of servers who were friendly so while it was busy, food & such came out in a timely fashion. I very much enjoyed visiting & will be back!

Great spot for a lunch with friends weekday or otherwise . They have salads , sandwiches and a kids menu . You order at the counter and they bring the food to you . There was only one server for the entire patio but she was efficient and friendly . We had tea with our meal but they have a wide selection of beverages : coffee , soda , flavored sparkling waters and wine . They do a wine down Wednesday evening and that is a lot of fun ! Make sure to visit the antique store next door . It's great :)

A secret garden in the heart of The Hill neighborhood. There is a small parking lot and street parking available. You enter through the side door into the store to place your order. The menu boasts salads, sandwiches, and flat breads. We ordered the Cesar salad and the Italian sandwich with sweet potato fries made a perfect meal. A glass of rose' for a warm after noon rounded out the menu. You walk through the side door out to the garden. It's absolutely enchanting. A pergola covered in vines and tree branches making for a comfortable place to sit and relax. The service was prompt and friendly.

Okay WHAT IS THIS PLACE. It's so freaking good! We were looking for a somewhat quick lunch, and this popped up in the area we were in. We were super surprised there's plenty of parking - both a large parking lot and specific street parking. It was so nice since the Hill is usually so packed. You order food in their cute little boutique, they have only a few options but they are all so good! I had the meatball sub and omg so much flavor. My fiancé got the Italian panini and it was also great, the flavor profiles went so well together. They were both served with sweet potato waffle fries with garlic aioli which was honestly just as good as the sandwiches, I could eat them every day. Great lunch spot! They also have s beautiful patio for nicer weather that I can't wait to utilize. Their indoor space is an event venue and is so pretty worn stained glass and a comfy, welcoming feel. Loved the whole experience. Truly a hidden gem!

Quaint wedding venue! My best friend and I visited on Wine Down Wednesday and enjoyed the atmosphere. Food was just okay - baked Brie, pretzels, and sweet potato fries all came out lukewarm. Pinot noir was very light, but the Sangria was a refreshing surprise! Plenty of cozy indoor seating for chilly days, and outdoor seating with fire pits for a romantic glow. Great vibe for date night or girls' night out - will definitely return for the great drinks but may skip the food!

Wine Down Wednesdays, need I say more? Well I should because that's the only day this gorgeous hidden patio is open for your enjoyment! The small tapas menu will have something for everyone's palette and all pair perfectly with their glasses of wine. Oliva's Wine Down Wednesday is perfect for a girls night out! There wasn't that much line when I went, they take your other at the kiosk by the bar. They have a large assortment of sandwiches, comes in whole OR half (which is half the price of a whole). I ordered 2 half sandwiches, "The Meatball" and "The Steak Out". It didn't take long at all to make my sandwiches and they also have options to customize specialty sandwiches if specific toppings are wanted. The Steak Out was the 1st sandwich tried, and was the best one out of the two. The steak was cooked medium rare but isn't too rare at all or overcooked past that if you are worried about that either. Not only that, but the jalapenos and the pepper mayo are to die for, and they didn't completely soak it in sauce (which is a common concern as well). Everything tastes so freshly made, with half a sandwich honestly being more than enough for 1 sitting. Overall rating 8.9/10. The Meatball was very good as well, meatballs were cooked well throughout and tender to the bite. I am not completely mad at the Baguette being the bread of choice but they couldn't have went wrong with ciabatta neither. It was a very solid sandwich, nothing too extraordinary but nothing I can really complain about neither. Overall rating 8.3/10. In past visits, I have also tried the Enzo Gorlomi (basically a spicy italian) which I thought was better than both sandwiches I tried during that visit, but I may be biased because I love spicy italian sandwiches. Should still try though in my opinion. All in all, I would definitely come back to this place when I'm in the area, pricing is pretty good for the food amount and quality you are getting. Vibes are cool in there, they seem like a business with a lot of experience doing what they do. I wouldn't say they are the absolute best in St. Louis... yet, but they are definitely up there for sure. They are also open until 1:30AM Tues - Sat so its a great late night option.

I will say that it was delicious and a very good size for the price of the sandwich. I did like his house made bread and his Italian salsa verde was on point too. No ambiance to this place at all. Was a tiny lil corner store turned into this lil deli and judging by the foot traffic while I was waiting, most are stopping in to grab a sandwich to go. Only a few small bar seats in the place and a couple of picnic tables outside. Definitely worth the visit and I could see this place really doing great if managed properly. The staff were friendly and very accommodating to adding or removing ingredients from sandwiches. I had Joes Italian Kicker with the homemade artichoke salad. The artichoke salad was so good. The dressing was sweet but not overly so. I am not a fan of sweet Italian so for me to actually like this item kind of amazed me but it truly was good. I did not get the tomato sauce on my sandwich, and it was far from what I had convinced myself it was supposed to be lol. I am not a fan of brats and sausages and such but I do like salami. I convinced myself that it was going to be sliced garlic and red wine salami and well that wasn't what I got but I do like to try different things so I wasn't disappointed. The sausage was amazing. So flavorful and enjoyable... again a surprise because as I said, I am not a fan of this type of sausage. Now the giardeneria, it is delicious but it says hot for a reason. It was a little too hot for me but once I removed a bit I could grab little bites with my sandwich and it was less of a mouth burning experience. The cheese and cheese garlic bread the sandwich comes with is absolutely a flavor bonus. overall this was a great meal and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Now my dining partner got meatballs and pasta salad. While she wasn't a fan of the meatballs to the point where she raves, she did say they were good just not great! However she did very much like the pasta salad. She only wished there had been less black olives. Lastly, we did ask for to go boxes for our salad Because the portion was extremely generous and we couldn't eat all of either... we started to get up to go get the containers and a staff member saw us rising and took care of getting the containers for us which was very sweet. I would like to say that a lidded bowl would be better for salads because all the dressing leaked out of the styrofoam box but that was really the only disappointment.

The restaurant itself has sticky floors (which I've tried to avoid after I turned 30) and is a bit of a mess. There's a towel sitting under the big jug of water. It's just not clean or easy to be in. I saw the pics when you guys were a food truck. I know you were making incredible stuff. The restaurants that are consistently good have the owners/head chef watching, caring, and making sure their workers deliver the experience that was intended.
