Staff were not very attentive and sometimes rude We love Marriott properties, so we were very disappointed when this restaurant was not up to Marriott standards. The pizza was just ok... but it could have also been because we were already negative about the restaurant since we had to ask for them to take our drink orders SEVERAL times. They said they had new employees that are still in training, but I think they could have been a little nicer when stating that they don't know instead of just walking away. It is a cool spot with both indoor and outdoor seating... too bad the service is bad. We should have brought our own alcohol. Would I go back? Likely not. read more

The food was VERY good, full of flavor, with colorful presentation. We had a group of friends, and everyone enjoyed their plate. The service was fast and friendly, and the decor was bright, clean and modern. The only downside was the restaurant is located inside a Marriott hotel, so there was no "mom and pop" local charm, just corporate clean and predictable decor. This would have been an amazing experience if served by a local Greek family inside their small charming cafe, but the corporate restaurant feel took a little of the joy out of what was still a great meal. read more

RIP OFF. Terrible service and ridiculously expensive food for the teeny tiny portions you will receive. The waiter completely neglected to take my order, brought food out for the rest of my family, and when I inquired why he hadn't taken my order told me he figured I wanted to share with one of my family members. Seriously? No, "Sir, would you like to order any food?" Just assumes I want to share 5 ravioli with my wife or son? Insanely overpriced. We paid $100 for 10 ravioli, 2 pieces of very thin veal, and liquid mashed potatoes. Nothing else. Absolutely nothing else. RIP OFF. read more

We were seated by a hostess... on the way to our table, another guest complained that he had been seated 30 minutes earlier and no one had acknowledged him, he pleaded for some water. We should have taken our cues from his experience. We also were ignored for about 20 minutes... no menus, no "I'll be right with you"... nothing. When we did get acknowledged, we ordered water and received menus. 15 minutes later, no water, no return of our server. We did notice a table who was seated well after us receive service and place their order. That was our last straw... we found a great place a block away and went there. This restaurant is inside the Courtyard Marriott and we enjoyed a nice peaceful dining experience but felt the price were too overpriced for average tasting food. The garlic shrimp didn't have much garlic flavor and was really oily. This place is good if you want standard Italian food that is not too extravagant. We were given an appetizer that we didn't order and when we told the waiter he did not seem to believe us which regardless was not a problem but it did show up on our bill and I had only noticed when I saw the price. read more

Ordered our meal off the menu then noticed a table getting to see the specials board that was brought over to their table. I went over to our Asian waiter and asked him why we didn't get a shot at seeing the specials..."I forgot..." in a "why are You bothering me" tone was his reply. Attitude was deplorable! In the hotel we were staying in, and it had good reviews through Yelp so we decided to eat hear one night. We had pizza and pasta. (I always like to compare those that claim Italian pizza since we live in Naples). Pasta was good. Pizza was good but the crust was thicker than I like. This place is fine for food and drink, excellent on the service, but quite a bit lacking in ambience and decor. It's in the Marriott Courtyard hotel, and has that rather dreary brown, poorly-lit feeling of many mid-range American hotels. That said, I would recommend it. We had some delicious bruschetta to start with. Based on a previous Yelp! report we had the Passerina wine, which was very good. We both had pasta - my wife with the prawns, me with the salmon - and a shared side salad to go with it. It was all very good and just what we had set out to find, so we were very satisfied. The service from waiter Dilvar Ali was outstanding - the best we have experienced in the last 4 days in Munich. There's just the problem of the lighting and atmosphere.....but for that I would have given it 5 points. read more

After a long travel day it was nice to find a clean restaurant close to our hotel. I did 4 stars since the food wasn't memorable but filled a need and was a break from the usual German fare. We ordered the bruschetta which was nothing special and I wouldn't recommend getting it. My dinner partner had a cheeseburger which was good all American food. I had the salad with goat cheese and walnuts. The salad was good however it was swimming in dressing and next time I would make sure to ask for it on the side. What delights me about this restaurant is how intentional the menu is. It's located in a business-y hotel, although it's open to the public for lunch and supper. All the servers speak English and German. Here's what you get to choose between: Two soups Three salads (the "Insalata di rucola" is my favorite!) Four pastas (and one gnocchi dish) Three pizzas One (delicious) hamburger One (acceptable) club sandwich Two fish entrees One chicken entree One lamb entree Three beef entrees So if, for example, you are vegetarian, you can order the Caesar salad one time, the mushroom pizza the next, then the gnocchi, and pick either of the soups, and then end your week with the ravioli. It's just enough variety to get you through a week. Or if you eat fish, then you can put salmon on your Caesar salad, get the spaghetti with shrimp on your second day, then the pasta with salmon (which is good), the codfish, and finally the salmon entree. It's all carefully balanced to provide just the right amount of options for a typical business traveler on a one-week stay. Pizzas, pastas, and dinner salads all cost around $15 (tip already included, but they'll let you pay more if you want). The entrees run closer to $25. Important note about pizzas: "Peperoni" in Germany is a long, skinny, pale green vegetable. The "peperoni pizza" looks and tastes nothing like what Americans expect. I liked the "Pizza prosciutto di Parma" much better than the peppers-and-sausage one or the mushrooms-and-smoked-cheese one. Their pizzas are big enough that we liked ordering one pizza and one salad, and splitting them. If pizza is on your mind because you're traveling with kids in a certain phase, then the pizzas on the menu might not be a success. However, they will serve plain pasta with no sauce upon request, the french fries are good, and the ice cream is cheap compared to what you would pay in an American restaurant (about $2 per small scoop). read more

It was the perfect end to a long and tiring day of travel to get here. We each had a dish from the specials of the day. I'm torn about how to rate this restaurant. It's very convenient being that i was a guest at the hotel. The food was good overall and came out pretty quickly. However, the service is very slow and the servers are not very aware of what's going on at the tables. We had to wait each time we came in for at least 5-10 minutes to even get service and put in our order. The servers rarely checked back with us to see if everything was good or if we needed anything else. We saw many people in the tables at the bar area that had to get up and go get things at the bar even though there was a server in the area. Then we sat with our drinks empty for a while and were never asked if we wanted more to drink. If I would've been back home, i would have definitely left and gone somewhere else. So this is why it's only a 3. Some good,some needs improvement. read more

Great service!!! The bread they serve before your meal is amazing. The bread is soft and fresh with a nice crispy crust. The tomato cheese spread and olive oil it comes with is like putting heaven into your mouth. The waiter also comes and offer more bread!!! I had to say "no". I had my main coarse coming!!!!. My main coarse was off the daily special menu call fish bamba. The dish brought me back to Naples Italy. But they perfected the dish better then the one I had in Italy. Food was quite good. I took the portion with mixed seafood. Could have been a bit more spicy and more flavor to my taste, but was still pretty good. Coming from Nordics, I would have liked the largest piece of the fish to be something other than salmon as salmon is all coming from Nordics as a deepfrost, but luckily it was well made and had not dried after defrost and frying. The god was really good and calamari was ok too. Service was a bit slow, especially when trying to get the bill, but all in all a positive experience and could consider going again. read more
