Recently got my nose pierced, and it was the best experience I've ever had with a Piercing. The first thing I realized was the calming atmosphere and decor when you enter. Secondly, they offer an amazing collection of jewelry to choose from, or to swap out previously had piercings. My piercer was named Robyn and she was super personable, and made sure that I was relaxed. Immediately it was apparent how professional she was at piercing and took her time with sterilizing all the parts. A week later I reentered and had to get my bar extended to account for healing. The owner squeezed me in immediately and I was also able to talk to the owner who helped me out. She was also super kind & friendly I could tell she was super passionate about opening this piercing facility & wanted only the best for her staff & customers. read more

I found this place from the website of the Association of Professional Piercers. It was one of three places in Worcester that is a member of that organization so you know they'll be professional. And then honestly I chose them because the name reminded me of Harry Potter, lol. I had gotten my ears pierced back in the 1980s and one hole had since closed up so I needed it repierced. This place was amazing! A very peaceful atmosphere. Clean, quiet, welcoming. Robyn was great. She explained everything to me and kept me totally apprised of what she was doing. They had a great selection of earrings. I went back for a free follow-up about 4 months later and to get the post downsized (they start you out with a longer post in case your ear swells). There was just one part of the process I'll mention that didn't make sense. When I walked in and before anything was done, I had to sign a waiver. Which is fine, but one of the questions was "Have the aftercare instructions been explained to you?" Which of course is no right when I've walked in. Nobody is going to tell you about after care before you've even had the piercing done. If I had gotten these instructions right at the start I'm sure I wouldn't have remembered them after I left because I was thinking about the upcoming procedure. I'm sure this is an industry-standard form but this question doesn't make sense. Robyn did explain the care to me after the piercing, which is as it should be. So back to my experience. The actual piercing hurt much less than I was expecting based on the earring gun at the shopping mall decades ago. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give it a 2. (Contrast this with the mall gun which was about an 8 at the time). I don't have a lot of piercings so I probably won't ever have the need to go back, but if I ever did want to have another piercing done, this is definitely where I would go. I highly recommend it. And I got a goodie bag when I left containing saline solution, a sticker, and candy! What could be better? read more

There's a reason why this place has five stars..they're incredible. I did a lot of research to find the best location to have our 5 year-old daughter's ears pierced and this place stood out to me. I'm so glad we went with them! Robyn was so kind, knowledgeable, patient, and professional. Our daughter's ears don't even appear to be freshly pierced because there is zero irritation, you wouldn't even know she just had them done. The studio itself is beautiful and calming, and their jewelry selection is amazing. Will you pay a little more than going to a kiosk in the mall where some hungover teenager that isn't even fully trained will use a dirty gun to crookedly shoot an earring through your ear? Yes, but you get what you pay for! I've had my fair share of cheap piercings and they always ended up infected or incorrectly placed. Oleander couldn't be more different than that. Robyn even made sure to involve our daughter with the process which made her feel so much better about it. They're by appointment only, which some might find annoying, but trust me when I say it's worth it. You walk in and you're literally the only people there, you get their full attention and it isn't rushed. Other places you walk into a madhouse with swarms of people breathing down your neck. I was recommended this piercing studio by Zaza Ink because their piercer was out of town. When I called Oleander to inquire, Miss Cale (owner and piercer) was very kind and helpful and advised me to book an appointment using their website, which I did. She also told me the basic prices over the phone as well so I was prepared. When I got there the studio was neat and clean with a glass case displaying the jewelry. Miss Cale was very patient in helping me decide exactly which piercings I wanted on which ears and explained to me all of the jewelry options she had. We decided on my rook in my left ear and my daith in my right ear. My cousin was with me to get her belly pierced as well and she was able to accommodate both of us at the same time. She brought the jewelry we chose over to be cleaned and showed us the room we would be pierced in. Miss Cale was very professional during the piercing process and took all of the necessary steps to make sure it came out perfect. The piercings themselves didn't even hurt that bad and she was very quick about it. Upon leaving we were provided a bag with salt water spray and an after care pamphlet. It has been a couple of weeks and my piercings haven't bothered me at all! Little to no pain after the first couple of days. I plan to go back to Oleander again for more piercings in a few months (once these heal) and I will be bringing more friends/family with me. I had some old studs I needed to have removed, and I am so impressed by Oleander! It is a bright, clean, and friendly environment, and the owner couldn't be more welcoming and competent. Within just a few minutes she'd flawlessly managed to crimp and twist off my aging upper ear cartilidge earrings with no pain for me whatsoever. She is truly kind too--she didn't charge for her service and wished us well. Just the entire general atmosphere is both calming and comfortable, you really feel like she knows what she is doing. Highly recommended! I will be back if I ever want to replace those broken studs. :) read more
