This was one of his three and after trying all three, this one is top top top! Nice, cozy space. Knowledgeable and friendly waitress who was attentive and gave some recommendations on places for us to visit in Canmore. But most importantly, what great food! This is now in our top 20 restaurants of all time. Wow, the balance and creativity of flavors as well as appearance. Everything was tasty but the star of the show was the scallops and pork belly. Definitely will return when we travel back to this area.

There were still a handful of items that I could safely have. I really wanted the schnitzel or Cordon Bleu, but both were fried. Total bummer. The staff and owner were excellent. They understood what I could and couldn't have. That being said, what my wife and I ordered was FANTASTIC. The gluten free bun was amazing. So much so, that I had the check if they made a mistake. I am insanely sensitive, and highly reactive (less than 10ppm gets me violently ill) and had no reaction. My wife loved her meal and could not believe it was GF. The menu had an eastern European feel to it, but I suspect there would be something for everyone. HONESTLY... one of the best home made fresh, natural (real) food restaurants i have ever been to. I would recommend 100/100.

We enjoyed shopping here and definitely will come again when in the area!

My family and I love French food and we were really excited to try this new place out…read more We started with the foie Gras, escargot, and French onion soup. They were all great. My parents favorite dish of the entire meal was the escargot. I loved the escargot. The French onion soup was a little salty but I finished the entire thing. For mains we ordered the beef Wellington, steak frites, and shrimp fettuccine Alfredo. Beef Wellington: we ordered the filet medium rare, more on the rare side. It came out medium rare/medium. The mushroom sauce was delicious, pastry flaky, and mashed potatoes creamy. Steak Frites: the fries were a let down because they had no truffle on them, the steak was quite flavorful with the sauce. It was unfortunate that the steak had a tendon running down the side of the strip. Prawns Fettucine: the sauce was very creamy. The noodles were almost too al dente for my liking (but that may be a style of French cooking?). The prawns didn't add anything special Dessert we got the banana foster. The cooking flambé display was impressive. The banana foster was good, but other than the flambé nothing too exciting. If I were to go back, I would try the chicken or duck. . . . Unfortunately, the mussels were a little fishy.
