Quick and delicious. I went to Ole Mole last night for dinner with my family. We were seated immediately and we ordered the taquitos and tostones as appetizers. I HIGHLY recommend the taquitos! They are fried corn tortillas filled with potatoes and topped with various salsas and cheese. I could've just eaten that for my meal and been happy. For entrees, we ordered 2 quesadillas, the chile relleno, and the vegetable tacos. I had the vegetable tacos and the ingredients were so fresh and the tacos actually stayed together. Our waiter, Samuel, was amazing. He was super friendly and attentive. Our food came out quickly and with some modifications we had asked for. The best carnitas I've ever had, and my husband always orders camarones al mojo de ajo. Ole Mole recently catered all the food for a party of 10 for my very picky book group. All I had to do was reheat some items (and buy drinks!). Every food item was a hit--mini empanadas, special catering-only mini-quesadillas (both with warm sauces), camarones al mojo de ajo, bright and fresh guacamole, and a wonderful salad served with fajitas-style chicken. The chicken tortilla soup hits the spot on a cold December night! There are no bones in the soup (unlike other Spanish food places). They are not stingy with the salsa, which is nice since it's slightly pricey. The pollo tacos were decent sized and delicious. read more

What a small little gem. I usually come here for Chile Verde. So good, tasty and tender. On my latest visit, they were out of Chile Verde for the day so I had to go with something else. Carnitas taco was my pick. I must admit I was worried that it won't be as good as Carnitas from the taco truck in Stamford. To my surprise, it was DELICIOUS. Carnitas was so tender, flavorful, just perfect. Soft shell tacos were light and packed with all the goodies; fresh tomatoes, lettuce, and feta cheese (even though I don't care for cheese in my tacos, it was delicious nonetheless). Tacos also came with Chipotle sauce on the side which was smoky and had a good hot kick. A side of fried plantain made my meal complete. There are only a few tables (3) and a small bar stools area. The restaurant may be small, but it has a lot to offer on the menus. Definitely worth the try! read more

This is a great authentic Mexican restaurant. We don't live in the area but we stopped there on our way from Boston to NJ. I usually tell what is tex mex or Mexican from the tamales. If they have them it is a good sign. am not of course to judge on the authenticity being a white Irish dude but if something is good is good even if it is not authentic. Laura was incredible to work with and made the process easy to place an order. Everything arrived as ordered and on time. Laura even came herself for the delivery and explained how to keep all the items we ordered warm for serving. Pricing was incredibly reasonable to feed a group of 20. I don't live in Stamford and am unfamiliar with the eateries there but I ran across this restaurant while in town the other day and boy, am I glad I went in! I ordered the enchiladas suizas and it was so good! Pink beans and black beans, rice, tortillas and three chicken filled enchiladas with salsa verde and mole negro. Delicious! I ordered the ceviche and the ensalada nopales to go and had a second delicious meal later on that night. The ensalada nopales had grilled shrimp over marinated cactus(a first for me but so good!) tomato, red onion, lime and cilantro over mesclun greens. I have to be back in town in a few weeks and I will be back to Ole Mole to order again. They just got a liquor license as well and make a great Margarita! read more

We love this place but there have just been too many errors with delivery. Every order something is missing. We ordered last week and paid 9.50 for guacamole. No guacamole was in the bag. When I called they said I could come get it. No credit offered. The time before we ordered a 20$ shrimp dish. 3 shrimp. When I called they argued with me I I had to take a picture ( they did give me a credit for that). I can't keep ordering $100 of food to have errors. If you can't take the time to make sure you giving people the good they are buying....and then argue with people there are too many restaurants to choose from now read more

Not to say that anything else on the menu might not be AMAZING, but the tacos are so good and nicely-priced that I just keep going back for them. Great sauces and salsa + free chips.
