Super fresh ingredients and everything was absolutely delicious. Loved the carnitas and carne asada. Chips and salsa were housemade and landed on the table as we were sitting. Going here I thought I was gong to get authentic Mexican food, but this is a modern American Mexican place that puts cucumbers in their burritos. So this is not for me and it was quite a disappointment for everyone. Service was horrible as well. read more

Had a beef burritto here. Tasteless, nothing like Mexican food I've had at many other restaurants. The salsa didn't have good flavors and for me wasn't good. The beef was very chewy and tasted unseasoned, very plain. Overall, a lot was missing in the burrito experience. My family has been going to this restaurant since I was very little. Since the Fairfield one closed, we drive the 30-35 minutes once in awhile just to go here. However on Wednesday, my friend and I got takeout and both had the worst food poisoning we have ever experienced. We felt sick immediately after eating and we were throwing up within a couple hours along with horrible stomach pain and he also had diarrhea. Probably the best burrito you can get in stamford for a price of only $9, you can't go wrong! I would not hesitate to get take-out or sit-down at this wonderful place. i've never had anything other than the burritos but I dont think i'm missing anything. Shredded beef is a must! I've enjoyed Ole Mole for years. My personal favorite is the tejanos. The Santa Fe quesadilla is also quite good.

Definitely a great spot when your itching for Mexican food. It's so authentic and the owner is super nice. We always get the enchilladas suizas (split between my husband and myself) because it's such a large portion. We have newly discovered an appetizer which I can't remember the name of but it's corn cakes topped with chicken, cheese and some other things.....it's delicious! Been going here for about 7 years. They recently did renovations and expanded the dinning room from 3 tables to about 10/15. The renovations have opened up the room and created great ambiance for a causal and fun meal. I have been getting the same dish for 7 years (tejanos tacos) which includes amazing flavors and fresh ingredients. The best part is this dish will only cost you $6!! They also will greet you with homemade chips and salsa that are to die for. Reccommended for all ages. read more

Ole Mole is a standard in our household. Some days its the perfect place. While their location (in a busy area, without much space) makes parking and outdoor eating tough, the food and friendly staff are the lure for lunches, etc. Well made, leans slightly toward the Tex Mex style if you are a fan of genuine tacquerias out west, but it's well made and unltimately delicious all around! read more

Food consistently good and portions are generous. Carne asada torta or burrito are great. My one suggestion would be to PLEASE IMPROVE THE SALADS! The chicken salad is incredibly basic and uninteresting. We find ourselves passing over Ole Mole frequently for dinner because there are few good lighter options on the menu. read more

Great place for Mexican food -- never have dined in due to the extremely small seating area...but they were apparently closed last week to renovate and acquired the space next door meaning more tables and less claustrophobia. Am excited to see the new space. I am absolutely obsessed with the Black Bean Soup -- it is AMAZING. The tamales and tacos are also very good. I have not had any of the entrees, as I typically go for lunch and the entrees can be a bit expensive but all of the food is very fresh and it is a nice "mom and pop" experience. read more

Always been a fan of their amazing take out and catering but they recently expanded and now have seating -both indoor and out - and the food just keeps getting better. Today we had a surprise birthday party - rented out the entire interior space - what a perfect place for a party of 35 people - The food of course was delish but the cook and crew did an amazing job of "keeping the food coming." I get takeout from here frequently. Hands down the best Mexican food in the area! It is so fresh, authentic and delicious! High quality ingredients (not sloppy mush). The enchiladas suiza is so flavorful and the portion is large. The chips are thin and crispy, the salsa is delicious and so fresh, seriously it tastes like they made it when I ordered it.
