Always an interesting selection of items…read more I usually come here for things like: Makeup, lotion, face creams, soda, medicines, and items like shampoo & conditioner. They have all kinds of interesting toys, and if you collect collectable things, this is a hot-spot for a lot of that stuff! They also have books about local towns' history, culture, and trivia, so I've purchased quite a number of them. I've many times done Christmas shopping here, as well as come here for cold drinks in summer, or Goggle Play giftcards. There's also PokeStops & PokeGyms all over, if you play Pokemon Go, and I got Shiny Pokemon here many times!

I've finally been pushed to the limit and have to change Pharmacy's. on a scale from 1-10 if I could go into negative I would. The worst I mean worst pharmacy I've ever had the pleasure to walk into. Lie after lie, we have to order it but they wait till the day it's due to tell you, then tell you it's auto re-fill the computer orders it. I've never wrote a review in my life but if this can help one person I'm glad I spent the time. Please, Please avoid this Pharmacy at all cost if you can. I hope this save someone the trouble. DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY !!!!!

There's not much you can say in the way of reviewing a CVS because it's a major corporation…read more Corporations aren't usually known for caring a lot for customers, in my opinion,, the way, perhaps, a small business might. The only reason I'm not giving this place more stars is because the workers who were there at this pharmacy on Washington Street in Weymouth are very nice and polite. The corporate pricing practices are really out of control. People often run into a pharmacy to buy quick items that they might need, but that they might usually have purchased elsewhere such as at a grocery store, for instance, you might go in and grab a quart of milk, some cheese or a box of crackers. This is where CVS skewers the customer through the chest. I know this is a convenient store, but that doesn't mean that a company should frequently screw the customer for example there's no reason that a box of wheat thins, a small box at that, should cost $6.49!!! One might do better, price wise, buying snacks in the ripoff stores at an airport! Or perhaps at a concession stand at a baseball stadium! Don't expect any bargains. Don't expect ethical pricing practices.

Talk about night and day. Three weeks ago, I was in the Weymouth CVS on Washington Street. The…read morepharmacist was extremely rude, not helpful and ended up modifying a prescription incorrectly. The line was horrific and the entire team took their cues (hate the customers) from this pharmacist (tall Asian guy). Today, I went to the Norwood CVS on Nahanton street. Polite, very helpful, really customer friendly and very efficient. It's worth the ride not to have to deal with incompetents who hate the customers.

In a world filled…read morewith pharmacy chains like CVS, Walgreen and Rite-Aid, it is nice to have a locally owned and operated pharmacy like this one which has been here a very long time. This place reminds me of the pharmacies I grew up with in both NYC and in Rhode Island...places where people honestly got to know who you were. The service here is certainly more attentive, personal and caring. We were able to chat with the staff...we were the only customers in when we arrived one late morning. The staff couldn't have been nicer. We were in and out in about ten minutes. I have nothing against CVS and frankly have done a lot of business at one of the CVS pharmacies in my town, there are several. But we may be slowly shifting more of our business to this lovely pharmacy for more personalized care.

CVS is generally good, often clean, but even tho' they have a coupon and rewards card system, and…read moreyes they do accept expired rewards coupons, the prices are still WAY UP THERE. The pharmacists are actually REALLY GOOD, very nice, but they actually also overcharge you on some items, like prescription items. This pharmacy isn't a 24 hours one. Nonetheless, the workers do work very hard, are very professional, and deserve to be treated with respect. In this economy, I generally shop elsewhere most of the time now, unless I need something and can't get through traffic in time elsewhere. There's surely a number of good points, but the prices are really painful, even with the rewards card thingy. If you are smart, you can actually use the coupon rewards card to get makeup really cheap, or sometimes even free. They do have a lot of great deals on makeup and cosmetics each month.
