Our…read moreroom with private bath was spotless, comfortable and spacious so we were always well-rested for hiking in Arches and Canyonlands. Breakfasts were excellent and varied. Vic's omelets made with the fresh laid eggs from their hens were outstanding as was the homemade waffles, pancakes, bread and jam. Anna and Vic were the consummate hosts lending us maps, books and sharing their knowledge of petroglyph sites, best hikes, drives and area restaurants. (Make sure you check out their handcrafted wooden spoons). We highly recommend this homey and well-situated B&B and look forward to returning on our next trip to Moab.

Our room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated with a warm southwestern charm. The bed was incredibly cozy, and we really appreciated all the little touches that showed how much care goes into every detail. Breakfast was a true highlight--freshly prepared, delicious, and far beyond what you'd expect from a typical B&B. Each morning brought a new treat, with locally inspired flavors and plenty to keep us fueled for adventure. If you're looking for a quiet, charming, and welcoming place to stay in Moab, we can't recommend Desert Hills Bed and Breakfast enough. It's the perfect blend of comfort, location, and personal touch--truly a gem in the desert!

It's Oh My Gosh stunning here!…read more For starters, our welcome committee was a sweet black cat. We sadly did not get to meet the owners of this beautiful establishment, but we did get to meet this kitty and he was so friendly and attentive. We had arrived rather late in the evening, but it was still an amazing night. The inn is nestled in the canyons very near Arches National Park. In other words, it's quiet and dark. We sat out on the porch eating our dinner, enjoying the sights (the stars), the sounds (nature and the local river), and smells. It was just lovely. Our accommodations were clean and adorable. There is a kitchenette, which comes in handy if you would rather cook instead of eat out. The room and bed were extremely comfortable. We stayed in the house that had at least one other room, though we suspected another below us (which was really our only complaint, because we could actually hear a couple talking late into the night and extremely early in the morning, though it is not the fault of the inn). In the day time, the property is amazing. As I said the inn is tucked into the canyon, but the property is well cared for with lush green grass and beautifully pruned trees all with an amazing red back drop of the surrounding canyon. I so look forward to coming back. I would live here if I could. It was truly a stellar experience!

First and foremost, this property is extremely remote -- the nearest food service is a full 16 miles away, and this crucial detail was not mentioned anywhere on the website. For a bed and breakfast, I expected at least some guidance on where to eat or what to do, but that brings me to another issue: the host's communication was slow and unhelpful. When we arrived, there was no one on the property to greet us or provide any kind of orientation. We were left completely on our own to figure things out in an unfamiliar and isolated area. If you're looking for a convenient, welcoming, and well-supported stay -- look elsewhere. This place might work for someone who wants total seclusion and comes fully prepared, but it's definitely not for travelers expecting hospitality or easy access to food and local activities.
