Trying to keep it short, but hard to since this place has it all... 1. It is a newer RV park so sites are level, spacious, and very well planned. 2. The location of hook-ups is great for eveyone because they are not at the front or the back so extensions are not needed. 3. Sewer hook-up is actually treaded, no rock needed to hold in place. 4. No coin operated timed communal showers. All private and beautiful. 5. Glamping tents for car campers. 6. Large outdoor kitchen on site for anyone who wants it with tables and BBQ's, views, Wifi. Matt and Wendy even provided a printout with local must see ideas easily accessible from this park. Super friendly hosts who have tried to make the annoying aspects of a RV park go away.

Full disclosure, we weren't planning on staying here originally. We had planned to stay in the national forest but a fire forced us to move further west. We were so glad we stayed at the Views. The location is really perfect if you are here to see Mesa Verde, Canyon of the Ancients, Cortez, the four corners, or the reservoir. It's only 45 mins to Durango from here and super convenient to almost anywhere you want to see. The camp site was level, shaded and had full hook ups. Our site was only a few steps from amazing views of the mountains, Cortez, and the valley below. You really cant go wrong at any of sites, though the lower loop was my favorite and seemed more shaded. They also have tent areas, and the restrooms were spotless. Literally one of the cleanest showers I've seen. Although relatively new as a campground, Matt and his wife really know what they are doing. When we checked in they gave us homemade cookies and escorted us to the site. You really cant find a nicer private campground. We will definitely stay here again!

We are truly blown away by The Views! The property is pristine - the bathrooms are as clean as a 5 star resort! The glamping tent was better than I had even dreamed! The owners have such an attention to detail. From the pour over coffee setup to the great mattress, you can tell they poured their hearts in to this place! Not to mention, the view from our back porch was stunning, especially at sunset! However, the most impressive thing about The Views is the hospitality! Matt was so kind when we arrived a little late in the day and had 5 million questions! He treated our boys like celebrities with golf cart rides around the park and his undivided attention. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of! We LOVED this place and will make it a point to come back!!

This is the 3rd time we've stayed at The Views and it's been awesome every time, Matt and Wendy are fantastic hosts and have great suggestions for things to see and do in the area. The sites are big and the entire park is well maintained. The bathrooms and laundry room are clean and neat and inviting to use.

Pulled in late last night and found a spot right away. It was perfectly level for our trailer and RTT. Immaculate facilities!! Most modern place we've stayed. Brand new and nicely done. Spots are spacious and well spaced. The owners are on site during the day and super friendly. We got recommendations for coffee shops, attractions along our route, and made friends with Guinness the dog. An awesome way to start our Colorado adventure!! Highly recommended. Don't pass up the complimentary peanut butter cookies.

This was such a wonderful spot for our family. Beautiful views, close to Dolores and Durango. Matt was such a great host that was always available to answer questions about the area. Clean spacious bathrooms, cute, cute outdoor area and such cute glamping areas! We will definitely be coming back!!!

Amazing! We never want to leave! The owners are super friendly and the park is pristine. The bathrooms are huge and so are the showers. Our kids, 12 and 16 don't want to go home! We rented paddle boards and had a great morning at the reservoir just 2 min away. Also well named because the views are spectacular! The sites are well spaced and extremely clean and flat. Easy, clean hook-ups. I'm sure we'll be back. A hidden gem in Colorado where you forget what's going on in the rest of the world. Thank you for your hospitality!

    Met this guy too!

Fabulous hosts/owners, & amazing views! The RV spaces are over sized with lots of trees & privacy. The bathrooms & showers are large with plenty of space, including a table for make up & accessories, & a bench to put your bag close to the shower, & turned heaters are all a plus! We had a blow out & other road issues that put us 3 hours behind schedule & Matt (the owner) was so understanding & allowed us a late check in. Waited up on us & greeted us in his golf cart & drove us to our site. Super kind & understanding of our issues. Loved that! The grounds themselves are fabulous. There's a gorgeous pavilion with nearby games like horse shoes & corn hole. Gorgeous views & glamming rents are also available. Super cute! Due to COVID our trip to Cali was cancelled, so this was an impromptu get away in our vintage travel trailer, & we couldn't be happier about the RV park we chose. I highly recommend you checking it out! Lots to do nearby, & friendly folks and very where!

We are on day 47 of a 60+ day road trip. We reserved a spot at "The Views" and we absolutely love it. The sites are well spaced with lots of privacy. The views are absolutely spectacular with amazing sunrises & sunsets. This is one of our favorite campgrounds of our entire trip so far. We will definitely be back & we highly recommend this campground.

What nice people! What a nice, clean, quiet rv park! The set up is beautiful. We were not crowded together. I'd go back in a flash.

Nice little rv resort to stay at. Just finished a 5 night stay in a cabin…read more The campground itself is nice, there's a pond behind it followed by the river. There's definitely some good shady spots on the campground with the shade which is nice. It has bathrooms and a laundry and a little shop. The cabin itself is nice, although I did have a couple of gripes about it. But first for the nice parts. 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom. It was nice and clean and kept up. Good size kitchen. It's an old stove/oven with electric top so just something to keep in mind. It's rustic looking too. For the negatives I have 2. The MAIN negative for me and the 3 others I stayed with is no A/C at all. I understand it gets cold here in other parts of the year, but when I went, mid July, it's almost 100 degrees outside and it gets really toasty in the cabin, to the point where you're sweating and it's uncomfortable. Just a little window a/c unit would go a long way here. I'd be willing to pay more for the cabin for the a/c unit too. When you're outside in the heat all day, it would be nice to come back to a cabin that has a/c to get some relief. And the other negative is the mattress. Suuuuper springy. Me and my wife laying in the bed and it's springiness had us both rolling into the middle of the bed all night, every night. And the couch mattress is all springs too. Besides that everything is good, just beware of all the mosquitoes that are here, there's a ton so bring bug spray!

The campground has many trees. The Delores River runs through the campground, and there are two fishing ponds for kids. There are about 10 cabins, a yurt, and a nice tent camping area; one of the tent sites is river front. They have two small airstream trailers for rent. There is a river walk and an awesome dog walk, doggie bags provided. There is a gift shop, nice large rec room, playhouse and horseshoe pit. The laundry room was clean; $1.50 to wash, $1.50 to dry. This is one of the nicest RV parks I have stayed at, but what keeps it from being 5 star is the water. The drinking water has a dirty, almost moldy smell. I thought it might have been our water hookup, but I noticed the smell when I washed clothes in the laundry room. There is a sign in the laundry room warning users not to use chlorine bleach, because it reacts with the natural minerals in the water and may stain the clothes. Must be the minerals causing the bad smell. Bottom line, bring your own drinking water.

Really very generous with the extras that can add up if you think about how much it cost to buy wood at your campsite etc. It's a really chill place, in a stunning Alpine setting, with nice people running it and a great general store.
