Hidden but not hidden GEM!!!! Beautiful spot, clean, peaceful! A view indeed and an organic "home"cooked breakfast, what else can you ask for?! I arrived after hours and they still answered the phone, already knew my name and had a drop box key thing and I loved the ease of it all. Do with they had more lamps lighting the road for the night arrivals but still found it. Room was just the right temp with ceiling fan. SHOWER!!! AMAZING!!!! Let's just say it's helps get you clean all over. Besides everything else it was one of my fav parts. I'd love to make this "my spot" when I travel through here each time . Didn't take as many pix as I should have , my bad, it's pretty!! read more

An absolute delight!! We were fortunate enough to stay for 3 nights as part of my 50th birthday weekend celebration, and it was the perfect place! First of all, we are both total germaphobes (even before Covid) and this place was sparkling clean! We never walk barefoot on hotel floors, but we did here. We also sat on the bed covers, and even the sofa, another first. lol. And...we have never seen such a clean coffee pot. We were super impressed and immediately felt right at home. Everything was tastefully decorated and welcoming. The layout of the room was excellent - plenty of space, and lots of light and greenery. We loved the fridge / microwave / sink in the main area, as we had brought most of our food for the weekend. There was plenty of room for all of our food and drinks. The shower was large and had three nozzles, plenty of hot water, and good water pressure. Towels were fluffy and clean. Again, every detail of this place was well thought out and comfortable. I think the floors might have even been heated, which felt great on our bare feet. Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. And the breakfast - wow! With Covid we had a set time for our breakfast which was really nice. And the food was amazing! Homemade yogurt and granola, a warm egg dish, scone, fresh fruit, delicious coffee and teas...we were in heaven. The breakfast room was full of light and plants, and there was also the option to eat on the patio. An added bonus is that the tap water in Bluff is delicious! We brought several gallons of water with us, and didn't even need to use it. Usually we don't bother with ice machines at hotels, but the ice was delicious and we enjoyed having plentiful ice water during the trip. Again, this place is all that - and more! Loved every minute and are already planning a return trip. read more

Not handicap friendly! My oldest sister is disabled and both her and I called to get a room with at least grab bars in the bathroom. At time of booking they confirmed disabled access for the bathroom with grab bars. Upon arrival the hotel said they don't have that option. Plus the ramp into the hotel is brutal for a wheelchair. It's lowest of lows to lie about disabled access. read more

We spent only one night at La Posada Pintada but we wish we would have stayed longer. In spite of COVID and a temporary power outage upon our arrival, the owner made us feel 100% welcome and at home. The rooms are big and cool, and the view from the back patio is outstanding. A perfect place to unplug from the world and reconnect with what matters. Also, whereas given the current situation there was no breakfast buffet, we were served a delicious hot breakfast. I'm looking forward to going back. read more

La Posada Pintada - Patio View - Bed & Breakfast Near Me - Bluff, Utah

My only complaint after staying here is that I was here for only one night. How I wish I could have stayed more! Such a beautiful place! A small town Inn with 10 rooms. We stayed in a room with two queen beds and it was huge! It had a tv, microwave, fridge and coffee maker(good coffee powder kept in a small box, not your regular hotel coffee) The sheets were clean and soft. The towels smelled so nice, the room too! The room had massive windows and the back door lead to a patio with a beautiful view. Now the bathroom. Tastefully done! Beautiful sink and walk in bath with body shower. Just what you need after a tiring day! Handmade soap! this place is full of pleasant surprises! They serve complimentary breakfast every morning(starting at 7am) and wow wasn't it special! Bread, jam, granola all homemade and delicious! The yogurt was kept in a huge bowl, so am guessing that was homemade too! They also had freshly cut watermelon, orange juice, coffee and tea. For non vegetarians they also had a hot breakfast item. There are a few tables inside and a few outside on the patio with a view of the red cliffs. You can enjoy your breakfast in the company of hummingbirds that come to their bird feeders. The wifi here was the best we got in our 6 days in Utah/Arizona. They have a nice little garden with many herbs and flowers. We were up by sunrise and all we could hear was the birds singing! So calm and peaceful. Bluff is a tiny town with just 3 restaurants that close by 9pm. So grab some dinner if you are going to be late. The staff is friendly. They will let you do an early check in if the room has already been cleaned. Close to many attractions. Highly recommend this place if you are in the area. Am sure a lot of work and love has gone into building and maintaining this place, it really shows! read more

Very unique and cute place Breakfast was out of this world, sat outside on the patio and took in stunning views

What a charming hotel! It was a little hard to find with our GPS but we finally got there. The outside was covered with roses and other flowers. The clerk (who I think was the owner) greeted us as though she had known us for a long time. The room was dated but clean and spacious. The bathroom sink was quite quaint. We slept well in quiet surroundings on comfortable beds. The breakfast in the morning was hand made. We had quiche and other homemade goodies including bread. We had hummingbirds all around us getting their breakfast at the hummingbird feeders within touching distance. What a delightful surrrounding! read more

Absolutely delightful! Every detail of this hidden gem was lovely. There are flowers and plants everywhere and little personal touches. It's clear the owner has cared for the place very much in attention to every decor detail. The homemade breakfast was delicious. We will never stay anywhere else on our annual trip to CO! read more

If you're staying in Bluff in my opinion you're crazy not to stay here! Beautiful room, comfy bed, sunken Jacuzzi tub, nice peaceful view and friendly staff. Cooked to order breakfast was amazing. You make an appointment tine the day before. Everything homemade and fresh: homemade yogurt, homemade fresh baked bread, homemade granola baked yellow pepper eggs - just a delicious! This little inn is a hidden gem. Only ten rooms, two floors. It is beautifully set with the scenic bluffs behind. It is tucked away on a quiet side street. ( Well, the whole town is pretty quiet. ) The entrance and first floors are surrounded by flowers. Our room was very large, with a high ceiling and a nice terrace out the back of the room. Cool and dark concrete floors felt good after a day in the sun. The beds were comfy and there was a wonderful large leather sofa for relaxing. Of course there was a coffee maker (with excellent coffee), fridge and sink. Breakfast the next morning was wonderful. We had eggs cooked in grilled red peppers, with orange juice, yogurt and granola. Excellent coffee and very pleasant seating on the back patio. This is a wonderful hotel, and my only regret is that we were only there for one night. Next time we will plan for more. read more

We stayed here after Easter 2021. It was a wonderful experience! The rooms are comfortable, the bathrooms are a bit small, but the shower is big and has "body" spray options. The price was reasonable and the breakfasts were beyond wonderful!!! Even with COVID protocols, the staff did a great job ensuring our safety and an enjoyable experience. read more

Really pleasant place to stay. The rooms are clean if dated. The real selling points are the folks that work there and the yummy breakfast which includes homemade breads and sweet rolls. Delicious! Beautiful bluff right behind the hotel. I'd go back. read more

This bed and breakfast is a hidden gem here! The rooms are spacious and clean with all the amenities you would need. The beds are comfortable, but the only downside is they squeaked with every movement. The shower was amazing and the bathroom was beautiful with the painted sink. They provide handmade soap that smelled amazing. Breakfast in the morning was quite good consisting of coffee, juice, eggs, bacon, homemade bread and jam, cheese and yogurt with granola. Overall if in the area again I would totally stay here. read more

I've found myself in need of a room in Bluff a few times, and this is my new go-to spot. Yep, other places might be spiffier or cheaper, but this is a gem. Off the main drag and delightfully eclectic; the room, the breakfast and the service is all top notch. Go to school on the shower handle operation though. Might not be what you're used to. User guide is by the bathroom light. read more

The place is a little bit hard to find as it is not right on the highway, and when I did find it it was dark and I was tired. When I pulled into the parking lot I thought oh no what have I gotten myself into. The outside looked like I was going to somebody's house. But boy was I surprised when I checked in. My room was upstairs and it was absolutely gorgeous. The entire facility is clean, spacious and interesting. The breakfast in the morning was excellent. Real plates real cups and real homemade food. And, the coffee was perfect! I highly recommend this hotel, and will stay here again if I'm ever in the area. read more

This charming B&B was my favorite stay along a two week road trip. In fact, we liked it so much that after the first night we decided to stay a second night! It is convenient to Monument Valley, Valley of the Gods, and Gooseneck Park. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfy, the bathrooms are beautiful and clean. The breakfast spread was delicious and homemade. I enjoyed the homemade granola so much that I asked for the recipe. Would absolutely stay there again, and would confidently recommend staying there to others! read more

We were traveling from Page AZ and had booked a motel in Bluff. I called to confirm and found out it was a mistake (on their part) and the reservation was for the previous night. They gave me the number of La Posada Pintada and fortunately they had a room. What a pleasant surprise!! The room was first class; the owner -- Jennifer -- was great; the view unbelievable and the restaurant within walking distance served beer -- a plus in Utah. Would highly recommend this place. read more

We made a last minute reservation for a Saturday night stay while visiting Monument Valley, Goosenecks State Park, and Natural Bridges National Monument. We were not sure what to expect, but it was a wonderful surprise! We had the top floor king room, which was huge. It had a balcony that proved to be great for viewing the stars. The breakfast was terrific. Couldn't beat the price either. I would gladly stay here again! read more

By far the nicest "boutique" hotel in the region, you're lucky if you get a room at La Posada. Service is personal and exceptional. I often recommend family and friends stay at La Posada if they can afford the fair but not cheap prices. Each room is its own work of art and the breakfast is top shelf. read more

We booked a room here with very little info, other than it was in the right location for our travels. We were surprised and very pleased to find such a wonderful place to stay. The room was perfect - relaxing and beautiful. The breakfast was fantastic. It was truly a treat to stay here. Our children were delighted with the spacious room and loved sitting on the patio watching the hummingbirds in the morning. Wonderful staff. Great breakfast. Beautiful room. Excellent location. You can't go wrong staying here. read more

It has been over a month since I was there so my memory is rusty. The nicest two star hotel I have ever stayed in! An artesian well supplies their water and it tastes really good. Rooms are really clean and roomy. Their breakfast had fresh bread, yummy eggs, sliced ham, yogurt, granola, and many other items. The room itself is enough for me to happily stay there in the future. read more
