If you blink you might miss this gem located in Bluff Utah. This resort is built into the side of a hill providing spectacular views. The rooms are beautiful and provide all the top amenities. The resort offers one of best restaurants in town; the firebrick pizzas are all delicious! The place balances modern and quaint. At night you can go outside by 1 of 3 fire pits. It's so quiet it feels like camping in a hotel. The staff was fantastic too. Bluff is a great midpoint between monument Valley and The Arches. If you needs a great place to stay in between this is the place stay.

Just stayed one night but OMG wish I could have stayed longer! This was a splurge on my road trip. The views in the morning and stars at night! SO WORTH IT! Got in late and accidentally made two reservations but the front desk was so helpful! Not mention the cutest coffee shop just down the road. (cow canyon coffee) Highly recommend to anyone passing through!

Omq. This place needs ten stars. It was the best hotel I've every stayed in. Ever. It was located at the base of a Butte. I'm looking at a gorgeous wall hundred of feet high. The moon came over the top and it was perfect. The staff was friendly. The food was perfect. The location was a dream. The price was amazing. One downside. The driveway was stone. Need pavement people. Come on. No other issues. Won't detract a star for that.

Our room opened up to this view.

What an awesome find in remote southeast Utah. Very well appointed rooms and facility . Best 4 nights sleeping on super comfortable bed. Sit outside you room out back around fire pit and viewing some towering bluffs to relax in the evening . Associated guide service was one of the best attractions. We did a ATV tour to Arch Canyon with a guide who had an extensive knowledge base of the ancients. Also went Canyoneering with Wild Expeditions and had a great experience. The small but capable restaurant on the site was a great addition. Didn't have to go off the property to get good food, better than other restaurants in the small town. We are so impressed we are planning to return soon. Very well managed small resort. Customer service was excellent. If you are seeking a serene location and access to a multitude of activities or just want to kick back, this is the place.

We had driven by this beautiful hotel many times on our way to and from Moab, Utah, and even stopped once to visit the lobby and gift shop and grab a brochure. We vowed the next time we came through we would stay here, and we are so glad that we did! The way this place was designed you would think it was an ancient community that somehow magically survived to the present day completely intact! No effort was spared in making the buildings--which are a mixture of hotel rooms, cabins and tipis--blend into the surrounding landscape, whose primary feature is sheer red rock walls on both sides of the canyon/highway running through the area. Just absolutely stunning! And inside the rooms you can see that the attention to detail didn't stop at the front door. There are gorgeous exposed wooden beams and stuccoed niches with interesting artifacts. And there are several communal features as well, including numerous fire pits, fireplaces, a swimming pool and hot tub and even a breakfast-and-supper place onsite. There is also a spa! We just did not have time to check everything out this first visit, but I can tell you we would love to return and explore it even more! What a truly quiet, peaceful, beautiful place!

Beautiful spot tucked away underneath the mesas. Conveniently located with wonderful staff and amenities. We didn't take advantage of any of their excursions, but the property was definitely impressive. Would come back again!

Nice place to stay if you're visiting the bears ears area! Spacious clean rooms and comfortable bed! Wood fired pizzas were good from the cafe as well. Most people who come to Utah prob never come this southeast but it's absolutely gorgeous! And being in the middle of nowhere this hotel is a gem.

    This place is gorgeous!

This was a great place to stay. Beautiful property, friendly staff, huge, sparkling clean rooms. We stayed in the Family Dwelling which was thoughtfully equipped with everything you would need in the kitchen. It wasn't quite 5 stars, more like 4.5, but I'll err on the generous side. The spa service I got was kinda meh, and the food at the "snack shack" while perfectly decent, took a very long time every time we ordered something, but those are very small and probably way too picky issues. Overall, this place was great and we will definitely be going back soon!

Perhaps one of the best paces we've stayed. Unique setting, wonderful room, nice staff! We stayed 5 nights in a Dwelling (king) and it is completely worth it, nice kitchen, bedroom, bath, and den. Plus the fantastic patio, (ok, the grill was a bit weaker than mine at home but it got the job done). The surroundings cannot be matched-you look upon an amazing bluff. Nice surprise was the Cedar Shack on-site. We had breakfast a few time from there; and pizza one night with excellent salads. Plus their smoothies are wonderful. The staff was always friendly and helpful. They not only helped with ideas for places to explore but even had ideas for local places to eat. And we were there during the height of delta-COVID and they had and followed all precautions. Respectful and professional! If we were in the area again, we would stay and, likewise, if you're in the area stay here! It is the best!

This resort is beautiful! The staff are friendly and the rooms are beautifully done. Highly recommend this for anyone staying in the area. Great job!!

Oh my gosh we came here for our anniversary and it was the best! They called us before to ask if there was anything they could do to make it special, we told them it was our anniversary. When we arrived they left us a bottle of sparkling cider and some chocolate! We came while it was still a little cold, but it was still such a good time! They have a nice hot tub, and during the day we explored the town and history of bluff. We went to the spa at the resort and had THE BEST couples massage we have ever had! I had the best facial I've ever had. I don't usually write reviews, but all of the staff is AMAZING, and make you feel very welcome, and this place deserves 10/10 reviews! Thank you for hosting our amazing anniversary! We will be back.

The private patio for the tower suite isn't shown on the website I don't think. This one's..fine.

What kind of food do they serve here?

I ordered chicken wings and the pizza. The pizza tasted wood fired. It all tasted great.

I recommend better pillows though, we had like a million pillows on the bed but they were all small and thin. I would say hit the chair with a green machine because it seems stained, as well as the lamp shade was stained too. We had a toy roll under the drawers and it def needs a good vacuuming as it has other items under there too that we're not from us. It would be nice to have a little night light in the room as it's pitch black, we stayed with our toddler and had to keep a lamp on at night to see anything. Continental breakfast is decent, I'd like to have seen Apple juice since OJ is super sugary for kids. The WiFi is awesome! The TV channels are super basic so I'd recommend maybe install streaming Apps for guests. The staff is super nice and they all seem to like being there. Would def stay here again when visiting family again.

Lake is amazing. The Marina... not. (1 of 2)…read more My wife and I have travelled the world, and this was easily the worst rental experience we've had. We were charged about $1,400 per day base price for a 5 day rental. Because we knew we wanted to book the boat even at that price for our extended family, we paid the full amount in advance (see below.) We also rented a paddleboard that they told us would be placed on the rear deck. It wasn't. The boat was really dirty. Given that we were just coming out of covid, we'd expected the boat to at least be clean if nothing else. There were dirty surfaces everywhere and we found the itinerary from the last renters (from the previous day) sitting on the cushions in the captain's area. Two of the staterooms reeked like feces and one of them had visible feces smeared on the wall and floor. Upon arriving at the boat, the placard indicated it was 45 years old. We weren't expecting a new boat, but this boat absolutely showed its age. We were given a wire-bound 3"x6" booklet with about 40 pages of basic instruction and a 20-30 minute run-through of the major operations. While the personal explanation is nice, you never REALLY know what you need to ask during this presentation until something goes wrong. He explained to us that the fresh water tank was broken and if they tried to fill it for us, the water would leak into the pontoon and the boat would capsize. This scared the crap out of our 12-year-old son who was with us in the presentation. Instead of the fresh water tank they offered us as many jugs of water as we'd like (like what you'd find at an office water cooler.) At the presentation, they tell you to radio out if you have any questions or need assistance. Once out in the lake, we rarely found places where the ship radio worked. Even on the emergency channel, there were only a few places where it would have been usable if we needed help or had an emergency. Instead, they give you a piece of paper and tell you to flag down another boat and send them for help. The generator could only run when the boat was anchored and stopped. This means no A/C while you're moving. That would have bigger issue if the A/C actually did anything. Two of the four small sleeping areas were cool, but the rest of the boat the A/C didn't seem to do anything and while it was over 100 degrees outside, a breeze through the cabin was far more refreshing than the A/C was. The fridge/freezer were low enough draw that we could keep them running when the generator was off, but while the freezer worked, the fridge kept food at right around room temperature no matter what you set the coldness for. We had paid extra for a boat with a slide, but on this boat the water line to the slide was broken and disconnected. They told us at launch to just use dish soap, but for the price we paid, we weren't excited to use LifeHacks to make things works. There was a hot tub we also paid for, but the water in the tub was dirty and very low. During the presentation they warned us to avoid filling or emptying the hot tub water. They pointed out the water line and the water heater, but when we tried to fire up the heater it didn't seem to work. The heavy cover for the hot tub was held in place by 6-8 plastic clips. All of them were broken and when we first started up the boat, one of our family was just able to grab the corner of the cover before it flew off the boat into the lake behind us. Because the water levels were down nearly 150 feet in the lake, many of the branches off the main channel were unnavigable. While the boat company isn't responsible for the water level, they should have warned us that maps were a little unreliable. It wouldn't have been such a large issue except for the fact that the boat GPS (which is also the depth finder) didn't work. They said it was because there's only one satellite and tracking isn't reliable. Luckily, our group had multiple cell phones and the GPS on those, even with no cell phone service, worked just fine. We just NEVER knew how deep the water was so we didn't know where we'd bottom out and where we could anchor. The anchor only became an issue as evening came on. You're supposed to anchor on the beach and we couldn't find an unoccupied beach as the sun went down. You are forbidden from running the boat at night and we had nowhere to dock, so we found a cove that seemed shallow and dropped anchor there to not be in breach of our contract. While the sweltering heat made sleeping difficult, we were horrified to find in the middle of the night that the anchors had broken free and we drifted back into the channel. After a few hours of watching where we were drifting (engine not allowed) the free anchor finally hit another sandbar and we stopped there in the channel. The next day, I set back for the marina to check on repairs and to ask some questions that we weren't able to radio in. (See photo)
