The park was relatively quiet other than the truck traffic all day and night. In the daytime, it's cool, but at night the semi-trucks climbing the south bound grade is a bit rough, luckily, I have some mellow music I've been sleeping fine to that helps block the noise. The rates are swell too, a whole week was less than 3 bills, and I left my stuff sitting unlocked with the keys in it while I ventured off every day on my dirt bike. Very nice showers, super clean and only a stone's throw away from my spot. Some dog noise here and there, I'm not a fan of barky dogs, some people might not mind. I'll be back next year

It's packed with unique art, cool rocks, gifts, and all kinds of Southwest character, but without the inflated prices you might expect. We liked it so much, we made a point to stop again on the way out, and we still didn't have enough time to fully explore. The staff were friendly, easygoing, and let you browse without any pressure. This is the kind of place you hope to find on a road trip but rarely do. Give yourself extra time...you'll want it.

You can bring your own tenting camping gear. He has spots for that or he has a couple trailers, a Bus and a van that have been converted Into a cozy little sleeping areas. There are Porta potties and a shower. Everything is runoff of solar. FYI, if you have a low Rider car, you're probably not gonna be able to make it back there as I said it is off the grid and a bit off the main road about 2 miles. There's a shared outside kitchen propane cook top. He sells eggs two for a dollar and beer in the fridge for two dollars each it's a honor system put it in the jar if you so desire, it's a nice touch I think. Our place was very clean sheets blankets, cleaned extra blankets, warm nice and comfortable. For the price you cannot beat it. Holy guacamole. Joe the owner was very nice. He has a few dogs. They're nice, but don't worry they don't stay at the camp. They go back up to the house with him. There are fire pits and a shared one that's huge next to the shared outdoor kitchen that a an amazing grill on it with lots of wood around and it's all free! Whoop,whoop! You can pay Joe cash or Venmo we just called him.

A lot of artifacts, antiques, and reproductions adorn the place giving it a country comfy feel. The king bed room was very large. The mattress and pillows were premium quality, as advertised, giving a great night sleep. Not many windows in the place but it is restored mill so don't expect views or a lot of light. It was quiet - no outside noise or noise from other guests. Self check-in was easy with parking right out front. Clean, comfortable rooms and public areas. The breakfast food was average, nothing special, but better than a typical "hotel free breakfast". The breakfast room was well decorated but needed some music. It was a little uneasy with the guests not talking to each other in a very quiet space and the host/server/cook not interacting with guests beyond serving. Overall, it was a good stay and I would DEFINITELY return if in the southeastern Utah area again. MUCH better than a motel. Better than staying in crowded Moab. I ate dinner at their restaurant, The Granary, and liked it. I posted a separate review for that.

Check-in was a ghost town--no one around, had to hunt down someone who looked annoyed we existed. Room felt like a dusty antique store explosion: creaky floors that groaned like they were dying every time you moved, poor lighting so dim you could barely see your own feet, and lightbulbs that were straight-up burned out. Bed was okay if you like lumpy mattresses from the 1800s, but the pillows were flat as pancakes and smelled faintly of old attic. Breakfast? More like a sad self-serve disaster. Tables were dirty, no utensils half the time, trash overflowing, and the "continental" spread was basically stale muffins, watery coffee that tasted like regret, and some sad fruit that had seen better days. No host interaction, no warm vibes--just grab-and-go neglect. The whole place had this weird abandoned energy. No real hospitality, plumbing sounded like a freight train every time someone flushed, and the "quaint" antiques just made everything feel grimy and neglected. Paid way too much for a night of discomfort and disappointment. Zero charm, zero comfort, zero reason to ever come back. It just sucked. Hard. Avoid unless you enjoy paying for regret. 0/10, would rather sleep in the car.

Conveniently located near Blanding, Utah as a gateway to Bluff and other Utah southeast attractions. I scoped sites out on Google Earth and reserved site #11 for tent camping. Ample backing up space, great steel picnic table and separate gas stove stand. Looks like the campground hosts (which I never saw) had thrown in a couple of logs. Really quiet campround and the bathroom was spotless, plenty of TP and even air fresheners hanging. I did not have a chance to hike around the surrounding area but this was a great campground. I did some astrophotography at night and there was no light pollution.

The pool is amazing and the hot tub was the perfect end for the night. The rooms were nice, the beds were comfortable and the showers were good and hot with good pressure. The breakfast in the morning was nice and simple but perfect for a great morning start.

The communal area is also very well done with seating perfect for sunsets with a cocktail or nice bottle of wine, and some very delicious food. The dipping pools, firepits are also a very nice touch. The food throughout was amazing, breakfast lunch and dinner as well as some smore's! The test we had was overall a very good size with a comfy bed, fireplace and full bathroom. The only issue was that our tent was a little older, or at least the canvas was and it seemed to trap cold air in. The first night was a bit tough to sleep through but the second night we were able to get the fireplace going to keep heat throughout the tent. All in all, I would recommend anyone try it at least once, PLUS dog friendly!!

The showers didn't have hot water and there is no full divider for the tent bathrooms. Ulum advertises as a wellness retreat, but the only complimentary wellness offerings are three small pools and occasional yoga classes. During our stay, the pools and common areas were overrun with screaming children, which made them far from relaxing. I would advise Ulum Moab to either lean into being family friendly and offer more child friendly activities, a kids menu, and add a larger pool or lean into wellness and pose age limits on child guests and add a sauna and steam room. If no changes are made, this resort is simply not worth the price.
