Conveniently located near Blanding, Utah as a gateway to Bluff and other Utah southeast attractions. I scoped sites out on Google Earth and reserved site #11 for tent camping. Ample backing up space, great steel picnic table and separate gas stove stand. Looks like the campground hosts (which I never saw) had thrown in a couple of logs. Really quiet campround and the bathroom was spotless, plenty of TP and even air fresheners hanging. I did not have a chance to hike around the surrounding area but this was a great campground. I did some astrophotography at night and there was no light pollution.

The grounds have been maintained so well over the years. But the most impressive part was the cleanliness of the showers and bathrooms. My wife and daughter said it was very clean as well. During our stay we met the park supervisor Kevin and general manager Dan. Both of them were so pleasant. I could sense the pride they took in their work. It's packed with unique art, cool rocks, gifts, and all kinds of Southwest character, but without the inflated prices you might expect. We liked it so much, we made a point to stop again on the way out, and we still didn't have enough time to fully explore. The staff were friendly, easygoing, and let you browse without any pressure. This is the kind of place you hope to find on a road trip but rarely do. Give yourself extra time...you'll want it.

The service was amazing throughout with every member of the team being helpful, providing recommendations and going above and beyond. The communal area is also very well done with seating perfect for sunsets with a cocktail or nice bottle of wine, and some very delicious food. The dipping pools, firepits are also a very nice touch. The food throughout was amazing, breakfast lunch and dinner as well as some smore's! The test we had was overall a very good size with a comfy bed, fireplace and full bathroom. The only issue was that our tent was a little older, or at least the canvas was and it seemed to trap cold air in. The first night was a bit tough to sleep through but the second night we were able to get the fireplace going to keep heat throughout the tent. All in all, I would recommend anyone try it at least once, PLUS dog friendly!!

So many areas for improvement. The furniture is sparse and as comfortable as the laying on the red rocks in the desert. Pretty sure the mattresses were taken from an Utah prison (after they were done with them)! This place doesn't even provide waters in the tents. They don't even make up your tent each day. All in all, the place is over priced by a lot. The sights are fantastic because ULUM has no cost controls over them, but the tranquility is constantly interrupted by noises from rude guests that think tent walls are sound proof or golf carts kicking up dust and racket. You apparently need reservations to eat in an empty restaurant in a "resorts" that has 50 tents. Else be death stared by rude kids (don't see any actual adults running the place) that are apparently put out by everything. Save your money and look around. Don't have regrets like us.

The place is and elevated motel in a quaint town of Blanding. You're greeted at arrival by a kindly and courtesy host. I love no door key to lose just a code to get into your room. The parking lot is nicely set up the lodge is surrounded by lovely plants and trees. We had a nice patio set outside which we used to have dinner. Our room was quite large w a big bed there's two night stands a desk area large tv on and dresser; another bed in an alcove is great for another person to have a bit of privacy w a night stand. The room had a microwave, fridge and coffee maker w a selections of coffee and teas. Bathroom was large and a great shower area w a nice shower head that had good hot water when needed. The amenities were awesome. The soap smelled great and had an amazing exfoliating seeds build in. The body lotion felt so luxurious on my skin. Towels and bed linens were perfect. If you read my posts about food you know I'm a water snob well when lodging in a sheet snob (my husband would say I'm like the princess and the pea). The sheets were soft and comfy. We had a restful nights sleep and awesome shower w great pressure. We then we welcomed to a breakfast all homemade even seemed the juices we fresher squeezed. I had the savory crusty bread w egg, tomato, kielbasa, ham and cheese inside it was so yummy. They had whole wheat cinnamon rolls that the frosting was great as well as the great flavor. The overnight chia was great loved the creaminess of the mixture but the fruit on top was fresh. The oj was as fresh and the coffee (I'm not a coffee drink but my mom said it was great). She gave us banana bread to take and it was dense and great. We ate breakfast in the back garden which was pretty and peaceful. They had patio tables, picnic tables but also had chaises and fire pits. We sat in the hot tub/jacuzzi after dinner and the temp was perfect. They include the breakfast and that was good. My favorite part was the shower. Great water pressure and shower head that felt like a massage. On our way out we used the car wash next door to wash off the bugs from the long road trip. Highly recommend.

The views were absolutely breathtaking. We had a fire pit, a bbq grill, a stunning view of Lloyd's Lake, and we had deer in our yard at all hours of the day. It's close to ATV trails, and we found one, yes, one cute little place to eat in Monticello. Our 3.5 year old never even noticed there was no TV. It was so relaxing and serene. Some day, somehow, we will absolutely return here, and definitely to dome 7.
