The views were absolutely breathtaking. We had a fire pit, a bbq grill, a stunning view of Lloyd's Lake, and we had deer in our yard at all hours of the day. It's close to ATV trails, and we found one, yes, one cute little place to eat in Monticello. Our 3.5 year old never even noticed there was no TV. It was so relaxing and serene. Conveniently located near Blanding, Utah as a gateway to Bluff and other Utah southeast attractions. I scoped sites out on Google Earth and reserved site #11 for tent camping. Ample backing up space, great steel picnic table and separate gas stove stand. Looks like the campground hosts (which I never saw) had thrown in a couple of logs. Really quiet campround and the bathroom was spotless, plenty of TP and even air fresheners hanging. I did not have a chance to hike around the surrounding area but this was a great campground. I did some astrophotography at night and there was no light pollution.

Staff was completely not engaged and more interested in her phone call at the time. I would drive the 35 miles to the next town next time. Even my 6 year old came back and asked if we could get back in the car after a 6+ hour drive to go to a place with a less fragrant smell. Ps. Carpet is so old and from the 70's. Runs up the base of the beds so thick so no wonder the smell.
