This place is really cute and it has a lot of good picture taking opportunities, unfortunately I was expecting more. Next time I'll go when there's an event as when I went nothing was going on therefore, nothing to do except to take pictures.

My friend and I did a quick stop by this little cute area. I feel like we walked into Mexico. Beautiful location with beautiful artwork and set up with history. When we got there, it was empty. I assume more people come in the evening since it looks like it looks a beautiful view at night. Definitely worth to check out.

This truly is a hidden gem!! Situated right at the heart of Houston Greater East End, there comes Old Town Harrisburg, a small vintage nostalgic beautiful town. I found out about this place on Cinco de Mayo. They were doing some festivities here. Didn't come exactly when it happened but we had a chance to talk to the business owner. They are renovating it and I just hope they do it right bc this place is so stunning, has a lot of potentials!! Every corner you turn, it's like you're lost somewhere in South America!! They painted their walls and floors with a lot of bright beautiful colors. I love the tile details on the stairs. Really artsy and cool! There's gonna be an art museum, food hall, bars, restaurants, vendors, etc. when they finish remodeling in the future! Really hope to see this place come together!!

We came here January 2022 on a Saturday afternoon and it was completely dead. No one was around besides maybe 4 other people who were just doing a photo shoot. Nothing was open. We were hoping to come here for lunch, live music and shop. My kids and I drove all the way there for nothing . We stayed for 10 minutes took pictures and left

Located on the artsy…read moreand colorful Esplanade along Navigation, this market is open year-round - but only on Sundays. It's not a food/produce/meats heavy farmers market like many others in Houston, but you will find some local farmers selling produce, eggs, CSA boxes, and pre-packaged meals. And you will find a lot of artists goods/gifts and unique purveyors: dog food/treats, soaps, jewelry, bagged coffee, barbecue sauces, Indian food... If you are ever on the hunt for a locally-made and unique gift for a friend, check out this market on a Sunday. I recently bought a handful of gifts for a friend's birthday (and a purse for myself!). On a hot summer day, like the present, they have industrial fans blowing in every direction; they also have live music (sometimes mariachis on holidays). The newly placed shipping containers house permanent shops that are open beyond the market hours, so you're able to check them out on different days of the week, including Perry Ideas and Rasa Libre Coffee (they sell buñuelos, too!) I think as the crowd grows in size, more food and produce vendors will pop up. Support this market on a future Sunday, and then pop over to Ninfa's for some margaritas and brunch.

No, you guys...no! You guys be lying to yourself if you say this food is good. Come on now child…read more I bought 3 plates (#1- meatloaf, mash potatoes, arancini #2-roast beef, mash potatoes, Mac and cheese #3- beef enchiladas, Mexican rice, and beans) and 2 pies (lemon meringue and raspberry cheesecake). Total was $51.47. All I can say is..where is the salt?! Seasonings?! Love?! I regretted going in the moment I walked in, but I ordered anyways. The meatloaf was probably the best out of the 3 plates, and even that wasn't good. The roast beef was not good. Let me tell you, you can get a cheap cut of meat and still make it taste good. But this cut was cheap and not prepared correctly. It was a sad sad lunch. I got side eyes the whole time at lunch because I chose the lunch spot. The pies were good. Out of the lemon meringue and cheesecake, I preferred the lemon meringue. I would be surprised if they made the pies in house, because if they do, great for them. They should just be a bakery. Regardless, I will never..NEVER return. I'm sorry to whoever's mamas or grandmamas in the kitchen, but they need to retire. I said what I said.

As I was ordering and asking questions, I found it to be a little hard . It was a language barrier. The steam table consisted of spaghetti, meatloaf, baked chicken, dressing, chicken fried chicken and steak, green beans and corn. They had deviled eggs that looked good. I like my deviled eggs sweet so I asked her were they sweet and she keep repeating no no deviled eggs So I passed on them. I also got a wheat roll which was so old and hard when I pieced off of it , it crumbled The food was actually ok but not hot at all. The meatloaf plate was$11.50 and the spaghetti was $8.50. The decor was super old and brought back memories of my family going to eat after church on Sunday in the 80s. Would i go back here again I probably would. I'd just try something different.
