This is definitely a great place for large groups so if you're looking to host a party or celebration of some sort, Hangar 24 would be a great option. This space as a venue, though, is also great! Like I said, the patio is huge and there are picnic tables outside that face where they place the stage. It feels like you can get a good view of the stage from wherever you sit or stand. I also saw a lot of families bring young children (from infants to preteens) to the show I attended, so it's pretty family-friendly. On that note, however, outside food is 100% restricted. A family ahead of me with an infant and a toddler was declined from bringing in tangerines, water and other small snacks for their little ones, so keep that in mind. One great thing about this spot -- they validate parking! So make sure you take your parking ticket to avoid paying a hefty price upon exiting.

The parking lot is behind a pay gate, but you can get your ticket validated at the brewery. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, with a variety of table sizes, so it can easily accommodate large groups. We sat outside. The outside seating area sort of has a neat, firepit-type vibe. They have some overhead fans but it was still pretty hot outside (it was a heat wave). I bet it usually feels fine though. Thankfully my drink helped cool me down! I ordered the Coronado Brewing, which is described as superfruit acai cider. I loved it! I'm not a big drinker but I've always loved Angry Orchard cider, so if you're like me, you would probably like the Coronado too. It's a deep red colored cider and can come in a 16 or 20oz. It can get loud here, even outside. I found that my voice was a bit scratchy after I got home from the happy hour with all the loud talking, but that's probably to be expected anywhere you go!

They have a lot of screens throughout the brewery to watch the game, and there are food trucks with a variety of food. It gets pretty busy on weekends and on game days, so parking can be hard at peak times. Both the huckleberry and baja sipper seltzers were really good and sweet, and the baja sipper one tastes like mountain dew baja blast. We also got the bronx bomber pizza, which comes with marinara, mozzarella, pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, jalapeno, garlic, and parmesan. I've heard good things about the pizza here, but it came out even better than I expected. The crust is thin but still soft and crisp. They do online orders for the pizza, but not on the weekends. We wanted to do a half and half pizza to try another kind, but they don't do that on the weekends either. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Probably the busiest brewery in Anaheim--and that's saying a lot…read more We tried visiting on a Friday night and couldn't find parking anywhere nearby. The lot was completely slammed, with a line of cars cruising and waiting for spots to open up. The surrounding industrial buildings weren't any better, with completely packed lots despite the heavy tow risk. Since we were in the area for a couple of days, we decided to come back the next afternoon, and the parking situation was much more manageable. It's easy to see why this place draws a crowd, though unfortunately, it's not for the beer itself. The industrial space is massive--both inside and out--with plenty of seating. There are screens everywhere, including a giant one on the patio that makes it a great spot for watching sports. You'll also find several stationary food trucks on-site serving up comfort food ranging from pizzas to loaded fries. It's very family-friendly in the afternoon hours, though the vibe likely shifts quite a bit once the sun goes down. The main issue--and the reason for the 3-star rating--is that this is a brewery, not just an event space, and the beer simply didn't impress. While there's a wide variety on tap, they don't offer tasters or flights, and everything is served in disposable plastic cups. You're forced to choose between half or full pours, which makes sampling more than a couple of beers a bit risky. To top it off, prices are fairly high with very little cost difference between half and full pours, making it clear they're pushing volume (and pitchers) over craft exploration. Ultimately, if you're looking for a lively social hub to hang out with friends, Brewery X is a solid option. But if you're searching for genuinely great craft beer, there are much better choices around.

We recently dropped in to celebrate a friend's birthday with an early dinner. We sat outside since the weather was nice. There were a few tables spread out along the sidewalk. It's also a great spot to enjoy a drink or two. The menu has a lot to offer. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwich, and it was delicious. The grilled chicken was bigger than the soft brioche bun, juicy, and cooked perfectly. It also included a mini serving of their famous potato salad. I will have to get a full serving next time! My friends also enjoyed the Wyatt Earp burger and the Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich, and we shared sides like the Rosemary Herb Fries, Garlic Cheesy Bites, and Onion Rings. Everything was on point. The dessert menu looked tempting too, but we held off until our next visit. The wait staff was kind and attentive. The interior looked spacious, with plenty of seating and rustic styling. Plenty of parking is nearby, from street parking to lots, all within walking distance. It's a nice area to walk around and take in the old-school architecture and small businesses.

I wouldn't recommend this brewery for toddlers as there is not much space for them to run and play. They don't cook and serve any food themselves, but they have pop ups. We came on a Saturday and it was El Brewjo burgers. I really enjoyed their Hazy IPA (Great citrus flavor). Their Prickly pear blood orange seltzer was also really good! They also have a passion fruit sour which I thought was good and unique. I also tried out their painkiller which was like a pina colada. Flavor features with this particular lager are somewhat of a grassy flavor, crisp and clean which all blend together to make a very refreshing presence to this beer. It is also light bodied which anymore regardless what season of the year it is I appreciate more often than not. A good, solid beer for sure and if you like various types of lagers then give this one a try.

Lamb merguez huarache - this was delicious. It's like a tortilla flatbread. Lots of fresh herbs and textures. An ample amount of lamb. There are peppers which add a bit of heat but it's not overwhelming. Caesar salad - nice presentation and enjoyed this as well. The lemon elevated the salad. Would have been better if they went a little lighter on the dressing but otherwise good. Skirt steak - it's been a long time since I've had steak at a restaurant that was cooked exactly to our liking and this one was perfectly seasoned and cooked exactly to medium rare. The potatoes were well seasoned and the sauces complemented the meat and potatoes well. Torts de Elote - this is a newer dessert item on the menu but as a lover of cornbread and all things corn I was excited to give this a try. Our server wanted us it was not on the sweet side and considered more "savory", which I didn't mind at all because I don't like overly sweet desserts anyway. I LOVED this dessert and hope they never take it off the menu! It didn't feel decadent or heavy and was a great way to round out the meal. Chaak has a cool and hip vibe inside. It can get a little loud and conversations can be difficult. It's a great date night spot, happy hour spot, and good for larger group dinners too.

The standouts of the evening were the Ceviche and Pulpo al Guajillo. Both the fish and octopus were tender, and the flavors were phenomenal. The Castacan and Marisco en Arroz Negro were also enjoyable, although the pork belly was a bit dry and the rice was too salty, respectively. My least favorite of the night was the Esquites, as it was not the most flavorful dish (just very oily and heavy from the bone marrow). The service was warm and professional, and the interior was beautifully decorated, making it a great setting for a special occasion or date night. Overall, I'd recommend giving this place a try, though the food was a bit hit-or-miss across the dishes we ordered.

To locate the restaurant, go up the stairs on the side. Happy hour is every day, 4-6PM The drinks are good and they have a good selection of beers and cocktails. You order at the bar and the service is quick. The food, however, is underwhelming. Regular fries are not great but the Cajun fries are better. Fries are enough to feed 2-3 people. The chicken tenders on the other hand are very small, and you get more sauce than chicken. The good thing about it is that the food was cheaper during happy hour. I grabbed a blonde (#3 on tap) and it was smooth, refreshing, and perfect after a long, stressful Friday at work being short-staffed and drowning with patients. Came in just needing to decompress--met up with a friend, grabbed a booth, and just chilled. The whole place has a very laid-back, local vibes, rooftop. Nothing over-the-top, just good energy and a spot where you can actually sit and talk. I didn't try the food this time, but I asked someone at the bar and they said it's really good--so that's definitely next on my list. Parking is right behind the spot in a structure, which was super convenient. First hour is free, then about $1.75 after that, but no validation--so just plan ahead. I kept it quick since I wasn't trying to turn one drink into a $15 parking night for just one beer. Bartenders were friendly and attentive--they checked in, cleared our glasses, and let us do our thing. No pressure, just good service. Overall, it's a chill, local hangout with solid beer and a relaxed atmosphere. I'll definitely be back--next time for the food and a longer stay. Oh btw, One of the bartenders did confirm that they have happy hour all day on Mondays, I'll be back on a Monday.
