Second review here, but so impressed with these folks on a return visit last month to find a sconce to match our ceiling lights purchased in 2012. Mary (my wife) and Ken Norman (owner) went through the whole place to find the perfect sconce and glass to match the chandeliers that we previously bought. OMG, an absolutely perfect 1900 vintage USA vintage brass sconce and hand blown French glass were found and purchased for an extremely reasonable price. Ken and Sara are the best in their business. Old Town Antique Lighting Gallery is a newly-re-opened antique light shop and art gallery. In addition to a great selection of lighting options, there are numerous furniture and decorative items available, including an enormous selection of authentic German Beer Steins! As the newest Arts! Alive location, they will be presenting the works of local artists monthly. I think it's John Palmer right now, a local landscape artist, mostly in oil paints. Check it out, it's cool. I could have searched the planet and not found a better antique lighting store. Ken and Sarah helped me illuminate my 1904 house with beautiful milk shade glass and wonderful, elegant fixtures. The service down to the smallest detail has been incredible. They took a real and enthusiastic interest in how the fixtures will look in the home and arranged for a licensed contractor to complete a rather tricky installation. Try getting that at Home Depot. I have just acquired an 1891 home that was remodeled in the 1970's. Unfortunately, the lighting is from the 1970's and once again I have turned to Old Town Antique Lighting to get authentic period lighting. They had beautiful gas fixtures that have been safely retrofitted for electricity and will work perfectly for this house. Ken even searched through a recently acquired inventory of fixtures to find two matching pieces that he will fashion into sconces to match my entry chandeliers. The prices are very reasonable, the service is unmatched, the selection is amazing, but mostly Old Town Antique Lighting is THE TOTAL RESOURCE for anyone looking for antique lighting. I know I'll need more antique lighting in the future and I know I'll check Old Town Antique Lighting first.......and probably find exactly what I need. Doug P. read more

Had shopped everywhere, including on line for a lampshade to replace the shade on my 1950's lamp. Could not find the correct size for the lamp and my space anywhere. Decided to try Old Town Antique Lighting as a last resort. I should have started there months ago. They had a wide selection of shades with variable pricing. Staff was friendly, respectful and knowledgeable. I even was able to swap my old metal part for a new one. I have had a good experience with antique wall sconce rewiring in the past, but I assumed this establishment was for antique lighting needs only. Great local business! read more

We have a pair of marble lamps from Italy. They are absolutely perfect for our bedside tables, but the lampshades we had chosen over the years had never been right, and had made the lamps look either invisible or ordinary. We took a lamp in, and two staff members spent 50 minutes helping us choose the--no kidding---perfect lampshades. They were just as interested as we were in getting it right.
