I think it's a pity that some of the people who work here seem to be out to intentionally ruin your day. The place itself is not bad if you're sitting outside and price-wise items seem to be standard.
A group of us were sitting outside and having a couple of Kronenbourg's. It was a beautiful day and we were enjoying our time when either a worker or a friend of a worker came out and started chatting us up in Spanish which was great up until he asked us where we were from and when we told him, he started going off on a tangent; I mean, this guy just completely went crazy.
What is upsetting to me is that when all is said and done, we are all human with one creator and it shouldn't matter where I am from. I traveled to Paris because I am intrigued by the culture, captivated by it's cuisine, and curious to learn more, and you know what? your nasty attitude will not stop me from feeling that way; I still think Paris is great.
I just don't understand why I have to come across such a nasty individual, who judges me and my friends without even knowing us?
What could have potentially been an engaging and educational conversation with a local, turned out to leave everyone feeling awkward and uncomfortable. We asked for the bill immediately which he got us right away, and I honestly can't help but still feel saddened and dismayed that this kind of attitude prevails, and probably not just in Paris.
The only words I can offer to the individual who talked to us on that day; if he should happen to read this is that I hope one day, instead of looking for reasons to hate, you'll look for the good in others, no matter where they come from, especially if they've been treating you nice and giving you business. Who knows, maybe then your life will be more fulfilling. read more
