This store needs to properly staff themselves. A huge line with two cashiers moving at the speed of a sloth. Absolutely terrible!

I drove a good 10 miles out to get to this particular Old Navy because it was the closest one to me. I was really happy it was worth the trip! Very big and spacious location, and super organized and neat. They also had incredible deals going on which was great because I was there to buy Christmas presents for my friends. I find old navy's clothes to be getting quite pricey for the quality... and it doesn't help that some of the gals who work here have serious attitude problems. Every time I go, I see more than half the staff either at the register with no customers or no where to be seen. read more

I love Old Navy! What can I say? I love a good bargain. I am not into all those designer stores where I have to pay $200 for a pair of jeans. Come on, it's denim... not leather or freakin' gold. I would much rather pay $30 and get 6 pairs of jeans than just one. I just don't get it. I guess. Anyhow, back to Old Navy.....so, now that I lost a gang of weight and can fit into regular sized clothing, I have become a big fan of Old Navy and their frequent sales. The clothes are nothing fancy, and if you are looking for fancy designer duds, than you should just keep going. This is not the place for you. But me? I am a jeans and t-shirt casual kind of girl ... so it is the perfect place for me to shop. And the jeans fit perfectly which is not always the case at some stores. So that is another PLUS. The only draw back is that the stores are all on the other side of town. And the parking at Northridge Mall, especially during the holiday season, is like a journey into Hell! So I guess I will have to order online and pray to the shopping gods that eventually Old Navy will come to the east side of the Valley. I would gladly trade the Gap store for O.N. lol read more

With my major loss in the past year, a lot of my clothes have gotten TOO LOOSE. While I was waiting for my vehicle to be serviced, I walked over to the Northridge Mall and try to figure out where I was going to get some new pair of pants. JCPenny can't get their act together and I found another place that I haven't been to in a long while. I used to get a lot of vests and now I have returned to Old Navy. Old Navy is located on the 1st Floor at the north end of the mall. It is pretty big with one side dedicated to the gals and the other to the guys. As I walked in, there were a lot of people, but it was organized. I saw the jeans section and I wasn't sure what size jeans to get. I was already wearing a 40, but I know I can get into a Size 38. So, I got a Size 36, 38, 40. Since it was a long time that I haven't been to a Old Navy, I didn't realize that the dressing rooms were in the center of the store, not like in the back or corner. As I put the 40, I said, "It fits nice." I tried the Size 38, I said, "Awesome!" I tried the Size 36, and I said, **NOTHING** Then and there, I had accomplished a lot of my weight loss and it sure did look like it paid off. As a precaution, I bought the Size 38 pants, just in case, I indulge on something bad. The checkout line was long, but it was moving fast with a lot of cashiers on hand. I didn't like the fact that they also seem like they were a grocery store putting candy while in line. Really?! I just lost weight and you want me to gain weight in line?! Overall, my visit to Old Navy had a bigger effect for me than the others. I knew I lost a lot of weight and I knew that I could lose more weight. Go to literally any other Old Navy... you will save yourself waiting in line for an hour with cashiers that move like it's the DMV. There will be a line hanging out the door, and one of the cashiers will go on break and not get someone to cover them... managers run around with clip boards hiding in the racks... completely unhelpful. Finding someone to help is like being in an Easter egg hunt looking for black eggs in a blackout. I don't know what happened to this place but save your time and shop online or go to any other Old Navy than the one in the Northridge mall. In the time it would take you to drive across town, you'd still be in and out faster than being in this line. Everything is always picked over here anyway. Waste of time read more

I had recently visited this location while in town visiting family. It is very unfortunate to say that although the store was nice, the managers were not. Sira had rung me up on the register and she was very rude, she didn't help me with any of my questions regarding in-store discounts. She then only spoke the most when repeatedly and annoyingly bothered me about the Old Navy Credit Card. No I do now want a Credit Card to shop at a place that wasn't very friendly. Had she been more helpful then I may have had considered it. To the Gap I go. On top of these issues, while she had been completing my transaction, an employee approached her about an issue but she didn't seem to care very much. The employees had been very helpful while I was shopping. I just hope to see an improvement. The only reason this review has any stars is due to the kindness of the employees who had helped me with any questions I had. read more

I used to be a big fan of Old Navy, but as of late the clothes have been sub-par. The styles have gone downhill and the prices don't match the quality of the clothes. Gone are the days of the treasure trove that was the clearance rack where you could find 3 shirts, a dress, and a pair of pants for less than $60 bucks. They used to have this incredible deal where you would take an additional 50% off of a $6.99 shirt. It wouldn't be so bad if the quality was actually good. Nowadays you get easily crumpled clothes for over $30. Clothes that are "cheap" you could find at Target or Walmart or TJ Maxx or Marshall's. They have great sales on sports bras and running shorts, as well as their jewelry, which is why I go there. Plus, I think the Men's clothing got better. read more

Was in desperate need of a little black cardigan and couldn't find one anywhere so decided to try old navy. Walked in asked a sales person (karina) where I could find one, she immediately stopped was she doing to take me over to the sweaters. I also was looking for Mom and me moments day shirts and she was sure to show me where those were as well. She then told me if there was anything else that I needed to just ask. Very, very poor customer service. Starting with Luis the manager, even though I got confused with their "sign for sale",( which I'm sure they do this bad practice), I asked to talk to the manager, Luis, and he his the 1start yelp. My advice is order online you will get the right price and you won't have to deal with bad customer service or, even worse, unprofessional management. read more

Went in with my minor son to buy shorts and a swim suit. So we were walking into the dressing room and employee Vanessa tried to stop us. She was looking at us with her mouth open and finally just kept saying "adult. Adult. 2 adults." I asked her what she was talking about. She said 2 adults can't go in to the dressing room together. I was stunned and said I'm with my child, he's a minor. Then she got really defensive and rude to us. What the heck was she insinuating we were going to do in there?? At the register I told the manager what happened. He simply said he would talk to her. No apology. I'm sure that is not how corporate wants employees to treat customers. I will avoid this store from now on. There are other places to shop where we aren't treated so badly. My son felt so bad, wondering what we did to be treated that way by Vanessa. She needs not only better communication skills, but a lesson on the difference between children and adults. read more

The stuff in Old Navy commercials always looks somewhat promising, but then I visit this store and it all sucks. Everything's boring and looks the same. The dressing room area is gray and badly lit and doesn't make me feel like, "Whee! I want to buy things!" so much as, "I'm tired and I look bad and I need an Icee and want to leave." Also, they have fake frat shirts in the guys' section: Tappa Kegga. Shit like that, I don't remember the others because I blocked it out of my brain, but I can imagine the brahs who think the shirts are funny and wear them and do keg stands. I have shopped old navy for many many years, usually in the Thousand Oaks location. Always a good experience. I went in to the Tampa store looking for particular style of pants and found them.. 50% off too. Just one of the round hanging displays in the back. I walk them to the front to check out with my two pairs of pants.. and she tries to ring me up full price for one pair. After I tell her no, these are on a sale rack, she looks at the "lead" lady, she looks over and proclaims that no, they are not on the sale rack. Like I am making it up. So she has me walk her back to the rack, where I present to her no fewer than 10 pairs of the exact pants I am trying to buy, all on this rack. No apology for wasting my time, or offer to honor the 50% off. They're playing games. You bring up the item you have connected with, but alas, it's full price. Whoops. Really, Old Navy? I went to this location on Saturday 10/17/2020 at approximately 6:50PM. I was greeted at the door by a man who was organizing the front of the store. I walked straight to the baby section to look for any Halloween baby T-shirt. I asked an employee that was in that area and he walked me to it but right after he pointed at was I was looking for, he said "We're closing now. We are actually now closed" I guess someone had notified him that they were closing early. Then he turned around and told another couple that the store had just closed and they had to walked towards the front of the store. I felt like it was a waste of time to even step into that location in the first place. Store hours showed that the store closes at 9:00PM but because of Covid-19 the mall was actually closing at 8:00PM. Does that mean that the store manager on duty decided to close the store early just because? Or maybe they had a specific reason but I felt disrespected in a way, like BAD customer service. read more

I braved the holiday weekend and came to the mall to get some cute work outfits. I normally go to Old Navy for the 2 for $5 flip flops because obviously they're cheap and most times the colors are great. The store was a little messy but it seemed like employees were trying to tidy up. The mess was even more disastrous by the checkout area, which had random stuff thrown all over the shelves. It was a little strange to have the fitting rooms right in the middle of the store, but ok. Anyway the flip flops were 2.36 each so it was less than 2/$5 and I got a cute shirt for work which ended up being cheaper too. Cool. This review is mostly for a worker there, I believe his name tag said Luis. He took the time to get off the register to come help me get some sandals in a size I needed because I couldn't find someone else on the floor, (everyone dresses so casual I couldn't even tell). He was very polite and provided me with great customer service. Keep it up! Not every sales associate would take the time to do that. They will usually make you go back and get it yourself. I love this Old Navy!!! There is always a great special going on. It's always clean even after a bunch of bratty kids mess up the sweaters in the front; the employee's refold the items. The items are always in stock and if they do not have it, they will check another location for you. I was helped and checked out by Valerie, Sergio, & Frances they where very friend and knew the clothes. I asked for their honest opinion and gave it to me with no pressure to buy. I like Old Navy's selection of men's clothing but their return policy stinks. Try returning something more than 45 days, even with receipt and tags attached. You may get a fraction of what you paid. My favorite, Costco, would never a impose such a stupid and unfriendly rule. read more

In response to Diogenes G's review: (Price-matching) Although online and stores fall under the Old Navy umbrella, they do have seperate pricing on some items and have seperate promotions meant to drive business either to online or instore. The same promotion or something similar is always offered online sometime later or before instore deals. It is not shady prices. Old Navy also implements a policy called regional pricing meaning items are priced based on the region the item is being sold in and on demand. Basic economics: demand drives prices. On a side note, this store always has great deals on clothes for children and women. Their active clothes for women are amazing, stylish, good fit and far more inexpensive than other major brands. I have owned several of their women's active compression pants and after many years they still have good elasticity. This store also has many employees that are eager to help you find what you need and are very knowledgable of their product. read more

Found a shirt on Old Navy's web site that I wanted but didn't want to get it by mail order. I went into the Northridge Old Navy and found the shirt there as well. But, it was $4 more in the store. I asked if they'd match the online price, (as all retailers do), and was told NO. They do not match their own website prices I was told because they are in competition with the website ! Huh ? Even so, if you are in competition you would "compete" by matching or even beating your competitor's prices. Good bye Old Navy, I won't be shopping with you again. read more

I've worked here for seasonal, and I wouldn't suggest to apply here. The manager never does her job, and doesn't take you're ideas for consideration. She's make you intimated and I feel like she reflects a poor aspect of what I a real manger should do, which is very sad for this store which have such great employees. Tying to get in contact with her is very difficult. It makes me sad I'm calling corporate on this store. Yet corporate won't answer which is absurd, which should say how poorly they manage, into getting a professional manager. read more
