The next day we go to return the items, because they were both too big (either too long, waist size was wrong or color not accepted) and the woman "manager" told us that the only returns they do is for store credit or an exchange, and accused of of "stretching" them out. They didn't have our sizes in store and so we wanted the refund to our original card so we can purchase another pairs in the future online. She refused to do the return so we took our items and left. I contacted customer service and explained the situation. She was finally able to contact the store near where we live after two weeks and confirmed WITH the manager at the Arden mall (Sacramento) that we will be in to return the items. She called us four days ago to confirm accepting the return EXACTLY HOW IT SAYS ON THE RECEIPT , which is to the original firm of payment. We go today to the Arden location and Regis tried to give us the same excuse that we can only give store credit or exchange. I told him that we already contacted customer service and they spoke to the manager at this location and she said we can. He denied, and said that the manager said YESTERDAY that they can only do exchanges or store credit, so I called customer service. Alejandra L. , the woman I spoke with on the phone and e-mail was very helpful. Liz, the supervisor, I spoke to on the phone today was very helpful & she spoke to Regis and told him to give me my refund to the card I used and he did! It just blows my mind that it took damn near two weeks to get this finally resolved and it took over 5 people to make one return!! I have previously overlooked several disappointing interactions, hoping they were isolated incidents. However, after my experience today, I felt that I could no longer continue shopping at this location. If I could give it zero stars I would. This location has it bad. Teenage attitude is crazy. I have attempted to contact Customer Service, as well as the store directly to speak with a manager, but I have been unsuccessful in getting assistance or being provided with the appropriate management contact information. Today, I visited the store to pick up an online order consisting entirely of underwear. Upon arriving, I was not acknowledged by the employees near the pickup area. Two associates were engaged in a personal conversation, and one walked away without acknowledging me or offering assistance. Once I was eventually assisted, the associate handed me my entire order of underwear without providing a shopping bag and simply said, "Here you go," before immediately continuing her conversation with another associate. I had to interrupt their conversation to ask if I could please have a bag for my purchase. I was then told that I would have to pay for one. Paying for a bag after I already paid for my pick up is crazy. It should have already came in a bag. I understand that there may be store policies regarding shopping bags and associated fees. My concern, however, is the way the entire interaction was handled. Being handed multiple pieces of underwear with no bag, explanation, or consideration for how I was expected to carry them through the mall was extremely uncomfortable and embarrassing. I felt humiliated having to stand there holding my underwear while trying to get an employee's attention simply to ask for a bag. Following the interaction, I attempted to obtain the names of the employees involved and asked to speak with a manager so that I could address my concerns directly. Unfortunately, no one was willing to provide me with the requested information or connect me with a manager. As a frequent customer, I do not expect special treatment. I do, however, expect to be acknowledged, treated respectfully, and provided with a reasonable level of customer service. What was especially disappointing was not simply the issue with the bag, but the overall lack of professionalism, courtesy, and willingness to address my concerns afterward. They are just straight up mean.
