This Old Navy is 3 times as big as the one by my house. The possibilities are endless and I had fun looking at the expanded options of clothes. They had cute pajamas, awesome summer dresses, a fair sunglass selection and an expansive flip flop wall. I could have spent a long time in here but instead I grabbed a few things. Made my way to the changing room and made some executive decisions. I love that there are two (that I saw) little mini changing sections at other places in the store with a sign over head that says, "Just real quick" or something like that. Their new little peace sign cooler bags are too cute. For an Old Navy...I suppose this store is just as nice as any other. I was on my way to my fave Bristol Farms today and thought hmmm, I should stop there and see if I can find anything red to wear in honor of Valentine's Day. The parking lot is a breeze...unlike the branch in Beverly Hills where you have to drive around a parking garage lookin for a space AND pay for said space, this location was WIDE open. In fact, I parked right in front of the door...so that's a plus. Everything in the store is tidy and all in it's place...a nice surprise compared to other stores where everything looks as if it's been rummaged through. They also had quite the selection of summer sandals...always a plus in my book! And really, for $25 and under, what woman's wardrobe couldn't use a pair of snazzy shoes? Alas, while the store was lovely and the sandals a plenty, I ended up waling out of the store emptied handed, even after trying on a couple of items. Deceiving, misleading sales signs! I bought two ZIP TOP XBODY - small cloth bags. Big 50% OFF SALE signs are placed over shelves but when checking the receipt, I was charged full price. When called, sales rep on the phone didn't care and manager said "marketing does that" obviously didn't take responsibility either. I felt cheated. Be careful shopping at this store. Do they supply this Old Navy in Manhattan Beach with different clothes than the one near me in Burbank? I went last weekend to the Old Navy in Burbank and couldn't find a thing - poor selection, messy, small store. This store in Manhattan Beach is really big and has a huge clearance section in the back. They also had a huge selection of spring/summer dresses for cheap prices $20 and under. I love Old Navy. I love THIS Old Navy. First of all: It has never been packed when I'm here and I come here often. Second: People are uber friendly. Third: Pretty large. Fourth: It's NOT at a mall. Fifth: Parking is easy. Sixth: Great selection. Always clean. Organized. Loads of dressing rooms. Seventh: Lines can get long, but move fast. Eighth: Did I mention that it's not at a mall? The store was pretty nice but as soon as I was walking out and I grabbed a piece of hand sanitizer and I smelled my hands after I almost threw up they have the worst hand sanitizer I've ever used in my entire life and it was disgusting I wash my hands about six times now and the smell has not gone away it smells like rotten peanuts read more

I hate shopping. I just do. I don't understand people who can and do shop all day. It makes me ill. Anyway. So for my college years, I worked at my local GAP, which is a whole other story I won't get into now. So now I have a very, very deep appreciation for retail on every level, and a weird loyalty issue with Gap, Inc. Old Navy is cheap and everyone knows it. But sometimes, you WANT cheap. You NEED cheap. You want a Fourth of July tee shirt or a plain white tee or some trendy purse that will be out of commission in two weeks. OLD NAVY! This is, hands down, my favorite Old Navy in So Cal. It is huge, but really, really well laid out. You'll never end up wandering into the Kid's section and not know how the eff you got there. They have tons of accessories and shoes and a massive sale section. NONE of the sales people bother you. Lines move quickly, lots of parking, and you are in and out. I can't even remember the last time I stepped foot into Old Navy. From what I recall, they had a bunch of crappy clothes with "Old Navy" prominently displayed. I'm not a brand whore, and I especially don't want to rock Old Navy marked board shorts to the beach. That was then... I recently made a visit here to check on baby and toddler clothes figuring they would have some bargains. I was taken aback by what I saw from the moment I stepped foot in the store. It was immediately apparent that Old Navy had stepped up its game. This store is huge and is packed with great clothing items for almost everyone. They had a killer section for children's clothing. Not only that, but I was surprised that I was impressed by some of their clothing for men. I got bought a vintage style A&W Root Beer shirt- a inside joke between my wife and I as it matched our initials. They had some really decent stuff here at great prices. I no longer have any issues with Old Navy and will definitely come back sometime soon. read more

Hello, my name is Marisa and I am an Old Navy shopper. For some reason I just can't stop going to this store. I know the pants never fit right (jeans are not built for gals with curvy thighs). and the T-shirts never look the same after the first wash but there's just something about shopping those sale racks for 3 dollar shirts. and like Kate said, the best place for the basics like tank tops and T-shirts. I can always find something at this store to buy and wear for a while. I love Old Navy because it's affordably priced and there are gems to be found. I went to the clearance rack in the back to find some good deals: the sign said "$6.99 (and up)" Now I realize that means that nearly everything is going to be more expensive than $6.99... but I was a bit shocked when they were ringing me up and my shirt was $34.94. Apparently I discovered the most expensive shirt in the entire store... in the clearance section. Didn't look like much of a discount to me. I tried to conceal my surprise and I was a good sport about it. I don't believe in being a difficult customer and I am always polite in retail situations. However, my cashier gave off the vibe that he hated his job, he didn't really greet me nor look me in the eye and it was a rather awkward experience. I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt, because I'm sure his job is occasionally rough, but based on the surprisingly expensive "Clearance" section that didn't actually seem to be discounted at all, I have decided I won't be shopping at Old Navy again. read more

This is hands down my favorite old navy! It is always clean and well organized. Whoever is in charge of the merchandising does a phenomenal job! Just came to old navy...mind you i come to this one because its spacious and more fully stocked than the other 2 closer to me. So in this occasion i walk into the fitting room right in front of the dressing room attendant and its filled with clothes. So i go in and try on my jeans and get startled by the banging on the door. And asked by a customer if her clothes are still inside. So im nice enough to say yes. And i hear her say she wanted her clothes Upon opening the door...valeri the attendant there questions me if the clothes i was taking were mine. So i ask her...I didn't know we could store our clothes? She just looks at me. And doesn't respond. The other customer walks in with a bunch of clothes try on. Yeah. Old navy employees prob over worked aand font get paid enough to cate. and its the holidays...but questioning me on the clothes and accommodating to others but screwimg me over! If they could have locked or blocked the room, 1st i wouldn't have walked into a crowded room full of clothes 2) felt like the other customer was more important than me. Thanks! read more

I usually only buy discounted tees at Old Navy. I like going to this Old Navy because the store is civilized and organized. The store is large, always clean and there are numerous dressing rooms and quick-change booths. The entire staff is perky and helpful. Old Navy is one of those stores where you have to really think about price and quality. Usually clothing items are frayed at the seams, and sometimes you can just tell that something is going to lose it's shape after one wash. I particularly like the bathing suits. These are not like speedo's that you may use for workouts. These are definitely for looking cute only. They might not even last one summer before getting all frumpy. Most everything else is either too cheap, but still cheap. Well low quality, but definitely low-cost, as something like should be. But there are gems, I have PJ pants that are five years old, and in great working condition. This store is pretty much like any other old-navy. Trashed. Clothes falling off hooks, and clothes piled on shelves. The bathroom had toilet paper all over it. And in my changing room stall there was a pantie-liner under the bench. I went with a friend. We managed to spend over 30 minutes in the store without anyone saying hello or offering to help. I saw some cute items but the shoes were $25 and they were very rigid and hard. I would maybe go back with a coupon or when the shoes were on sale. I always try to head to this ON when I need to hit this chain up. This is a fairly large store and one of few that is not attached to a large mall. The parking tends to be a lot better and their selection seems to be more organized (not including holidays or major sales). Their customer service is also usually up to par. read more

Long lines and cheap clothing that's one of the places to go and visit if you want to get extremely inexpensive clothing which is affordable but not fashionable. You have to sort through clothing to find your size but if you find anything you like you could be sure you can't get it any cheaper unless you go to a secondhand store. It took me 20 minutes to pay for my item. read more

There was a loud piercing sensor buzz that didn't stop the entire time I was in the store. when I asked an employee if they can address the noise I was told it's when a sensor is on the counter the high pitch sound goes off and there is nothing they can do. This was CONSTANT. I asked another person and told the same thing. I was there for 15 minutes with my hands on my ears. I wanted to spend some money there but couldn't tolerate the noise. Left with a headache that lasted several hours. The second person I spoke to was understanding and offered a coupon for next visit but I refused it. I have no intention of returning to the store with such an unpleasant atmosphere. I don't recall this noise when I've shopped at this store in the past several years In addition, this noise makes for an unhealthy environment for employees and can cause hearing loss. They may be in violation of health and safety standards. It's in their best interest to correct this. I certainly will not return read more

Waited in line for 20 minutes with only two people ringing up costumers. I completely understand that stress can go up when they are busy, but being rude to costumers is unacceptable. This old navy is a hit and miss as far as the selection of clothes. I have noticed that some items here are priced higher compared to other old navy's. The customer service is average. It's always a messy also.Avoid going here on the flip flop sale days and on weekends it tends to get really packed. The parking lot is shared with many other stores, making it very hard to find a spot. The parking spaces are really small for it you don't want your car dented by someone's door don't park here. read more

I'm a big fan of Old Navy. This one has a great selection of clothes, but the last couple of times I've been here (both Sunday mornings) the customer service has been horrible, bare minimum at the least. Today I found something on the clearance rack and brought it to the register (it didn't have a sticker). The guy there charged me the full amount, not even wanting to lift a finger to see if there was a lower price. I told him I wasn't interested in the product anymore and left. No attempt to "see what I can do." There are many more stores out there where the employees go out of there way to try. That would have been nice. Not sure if I'll be back any time soon. read more
