These tops were a jersey type fabric and a slub knit cotton. In the last week, I have given away 3 tops with tags (I usually buy multiple tops at 1 time) totaling over $120, I was told at the store by a very unhelpful employee (blond curly hair) that if I launder any item they become unreturnable. My quest for a suit/suit coat for a wedding took me from one end of the men's clothing spectrum to the other. My first stop at another store had me trying on a fantastic sports coat that I later realized was priced at $1,200. I politely excused myself and headed for the other end of the spectrum. The other end didn't work for me either. When I went to this Jos A Banks store to get my coat tailored I looked at the rack in my size and knew I needed to bring my fashion consultant (wife) back to take a look. Between yesterday and today we spent about 4 hours in the store updating my aged wardrobe. Several coats, shirts, ties, and slacks later I'm very satisfied. I was also lucky enough to drop into a sale and find several coats on clearance that fit perfectly. And I have to admit that were it not for the sale I would have probably stopped with the one coat, slacks and shirt and made it work with one of my old ties. Joseph Banks happened to be running a promotion of "buy one, get one free" pants, so I called my dad (who is the store's biggest fan) and he came running down to meet us and get a good deal. The employee that helped us grabbed my boyfriend's sports coat and started pairing it with different pants until he had found the optimum pair. Unfortunately, the slacks that looked stunning with the jacket were not "ready-to-wear," they needed to be hemmed. We asked if there was any chance they could be hemmed before the store closed that evening but the employee told us the tailor was leaving as we spoke. He stopped us and ran to the back and five minutes later returned and said "go put them on so we can measure, they'll be done in less than an hour." Great! 45 minutes later we were called back to the store and my dad and boyfriend went in on an order together and got two pairs of nice dress slacks for $50 each! Not a bad deal at all. Great service and great clothing, I bought a cool pink and navy striped tie for my boyfriend while we were there.

The girls working at Aerie were less than friendly and didn't say anything to us as we walked around. One stared at me while my daughter was looking around, but never said one word. I thought it was odd. The American Eagle workers were quite the opposite and super friendly. Hopefully it was just an off day for those Aerie workers. There is usually a line and never more than 3 people working so if they are helping other customers; be prepared to wait! This past weekend was their annual $1 flip-flop sale and the place was kinda crazy.
