I took two totes of clothes up, some had tags from Carter's and other stores, and they accepted maybe 10 items. I even tried to sell them brand new Nike shoes never worn and they sent them right back. Highly disappointed with how the store has went in a different direction.

Out of all the stores we visited this Black Friday, Oshkosh was by far the cleanest and well-organized of the lot. By the time we started our shopping, it was clear that the Cincinnati Premium Outlets had been hit hard by holiday shoppers. Oshkosh looked like it had just opened. Not only was it clean and well organized, but it was also well stocked. When not assisting customes, employees were welcoming those who were walking in.

See, to shore up funds for a pre-order, I tried to sell a few things for some pocket money (because we know how consignment stores work) and I didn't really get anywhere with it . Apparently, they won't buy dolls without clothes, which completely ignores that the kids will redress them anyways, while selling toys that are either missing pieces or beat to hell, matter-of-fact, one of the toys I've seen was practically broken, with one being a dollhouse that has a broken elevator being sold for $18. They passed one of the items that I attempted to sell but I wasn't given a reason why. All this isn't getting into how they lowball your items and the owner's response was especially unhelpful. If you have some baby items and toys that need a new home, I'd suggest donating them to charities. Need some extra funds? I suggest selling on Marketplace, Letgo, Depop, Poshmark, or eBay, NOT at Once Upon a Child. Fairly negative experience and I don't see myself selling here again.

However, they do have one of the best selections in town for clothes, shoes and toys. Parking is right out front but beware, some staff can be rude.

The staff are always friendly and parking is a breeze since the store is in a plaza with a big lot. They have huge sales and a good texting program that alerts you of sales and sends coupons straight to your phone.

I also got some primer for my eyeshadow for $2. There were so many things that I could have bought including cheaply priced, name brand bras, underwear, lingerie, shirts, sweaters, coats, anything that you can think of. I didn't have enough room in my carry on bag to buy like I wanted to but the clothes were in good shape and they looked brand new! Next time I come to visit, I'll bring an empty suitcase :-) It's important to know that if you buy anything at DFW, all sales are final. There are no refunds, no returns, and no exchanges so you better be sure that you want it before you buy it!

It is what it is…read more I'm not a big shopping guy and even less a TJ Maxx guy. But, from time-to-time, I am dragged in there. So, if you've ever been to a TJ Maxx, you'll understand where I'm coming from. They place is always a disaster with a moderate rhyme-or-reason to where things are. Sure, you can find the luggage section, or the shoe aisles, or clothes, etc. But, you might be at the shoe rack and come across a decent pair of dress shoes, right next to a pair of slippers, right next to those measuring cups for the kitchen that you suddenly had to have. Now, I'm not sure if that's how TJ Maxx gets you or if that's just lazy customers. Either way, it's genius. Anyone who says that more than 75% of the time the go into a TJ Maxx for something specific but ultimately walk out with 1 to 9 items that they didn't come in for would be lying. On top of that, they're walking out with those 1 to 9 other items and in many cases, not what they originally came in for. These are hard facts. It's a brilliant marketing scheme. Being completely bewildered in an aisle that seemed to make very little sense to me, I asked on of the workers who was stocking the shelves how she knew where to even put things. I had been browsing through this aisle for a few minutes and noticed her taking things off of her stock cart and putting them on shelves, in between other completely related items. She said that in some cases they have a general idea where things go and just find a space. That's a perfect way to describe many of the aisles of TJ Maxx. Again - this is either insane or genius. I'm guessing it's the latter. Would I go back? I don't know. Probably. I would never think of going there. I'll never say, "hey, I need to run to TJ Maxx". But thinking about it, I should. Because they honestly seem to have everything you could ever think of. This isn't a bad review. Like TJ Maxx, it's a very hard to define review. If you like browsing, look no further. You could spend hours here. Think of it as an indoor scavenger hunt. Pro Tip: If you're looking for something in particular and don't find it in the area you locate that has similar items....say shoes... keep looking in other aisles around that general area or quarter of that part of the store. You may still find what you're looking for among things that are completely unrelated. This too, is a fact. I have literally had this experience myself. Think of it as a real life Highlights magazine picture search. I can almost guarantee if you look closely between the items in the aisle that has hard candies, holiday gnomes, assorted Keurig K-cups and socks, there is a real good chance you'll find that meat thermometer between the toddler size tap shoes and gourmet peanut brittle.

Last year I returned to campus in the summer because Oxford was a stop on a week-long cycling and camping tour. This meant I brought very few cute clothes on my journey. As I wandered about uptown, I saw in the distance one of my favorite professors from undergrad getting Starbucks, which meant that she'd eventually be back in her office for me to stop by and say hi. But one can't catch up with important people looking like a scrub who's just cycled 50 miles! So quickly I dashed into Juniper, bought a fabulous summery casual dress and a striking hair tie, changed my outfit in the store, stashed my athletic shorts and tee into my purse, and headed over confidently to Hall Auditorium. Juniper did not fail me in having excellent options and reasonable prices even with the passing of the years! The selection of items for sale is so wide for such a modest store: tops, bottoms, dresses, swimsuits, fancy underwear, jewelry, and beauty products. The fitting rooms in the converted elevator shaft are a unique touch. And the location in uptown couldn't be better!

The bridal stylist I worked with was Brigitta who was very patient and wonderful. She worked with me to understand what I liked in a dress and if I was not liking a feature. She took my opinion into consideration especially when out in front of my family I brought who had loud opinions. Online and from what I found, the dresses were all under $2,000 just as advertised. I unfortunately did not get my dress here but would definitely recommend this shop.

This is an upscale women's fashion boutique it does have a few children's clothes and a few jerseys that men would wear. I found Prada, Dolce, and Chanel plus many others. On this day she had a buy one, get one sale on the jewelry. I can never resist a deal on jewelry :). You can find them on facebook as Your World. She does consistently post and also you can find notice of sales here. I will definitely be making a trip back to the shop to see the new arrivals. Come and check them out.

Yes, the college girls working there aren't the friendliest, but they were friendly enough when I was there and let's be honest- you're in a college town, they're working for beer money, not because they love fashion and are dreaming of a life in retail.
