Wait! I shop here all the times and always go in here when I'm at the Irvine Spectrum and how did I not have a review for this Old Navy location? Had to pick up some items at the Irvine Spectrum today so decided to check Old Navy out for some workout clothes. Found a couple of leggings but what I was looking for were out of my size. When I got to the register, told the associate that the items I'm getting were priced higher than what I see in my email, which brought me into the store today. He asked me to show him the email, and once confirmed the exact items, he made the price adjustment to match the sale price, which are good for two days only. This store is very large and bright with many glass windows around the store. Nice and clean. Great customer service! Gotta come back and take more pictures now that I know I missed reviewing them. read more

I understand this may be a very popular Old Navy due to location. I was a bit alarmed on the long line and wait. But again, it's mostly due to this being a busy location. I did interact with the cashier who did my online order pickup & purchasing additional items. I was told Old Navy doesn't do price adjustments. So just placed my order for pickup at my closest Old Navy. We only stopped here because we were already there shopping. I do love the Christmas pjs, as my girl friends and I usually match for our Christmas get together. Won't be returning to this location unless absolutely have to. read more

I had a really disappointing experience at the Old Navy location at the Irvine Spectrum, and honestly, it left a bad impression before I even started shopping. The first thing that stood out to me was the store layout--specifically, the placement of the register area. I have met some idiots in my time but this place takes the cake. They answer the phone with a "I hate my job" attitude and can't seem to transfer a call, instead they continually hang up. Going in and trying to seek help is no better. They should replace whole staff and try hiring people who enjoy doing what they're doing. Offering assistance to a potential purchase. I will never return to the Old Navy store in Spectrum. I bought a pair of joggers yesterday, tried them on, and everything seemed fine, so I removed the tags. But when I wore them this morning, I discovered that one pant leg was much longer than the other. I took them off and measured them. Yes there was one inch difference. Clearly, the item was defective. When I went back to the store to exchange them, they refused to help. They insisted that the tags must still be attached, even for defective merchandise. I explained that the product itself was faulty, but they still declined to offer a return or exchange. Thankfully, another Old Navy location accepted my return immediately and without any problems. The Spectrum store needs to improve both customer service and basic common sense when handling defective items. read more

Old Navy hasn't changed much over the years, except it's gotten more expensive. Still, they have some cheap t-shirts and usually some pretty good sales. This Old Navy is what you expect. There isn't a lot of customer service on the floor unless you specifically find somebody to help you. There's always a line to check out, even on a slow day it seems like there's a line due to fewer people working. Be prepared for the hard sell on their rewards club and the Old Navy credit card. I'm sure they were having some contest or bonus based on the number of people they get to join, but when you only visit an Old Nacy once or twice a year, it's not worth it. read more

The first thing to know about this Old Navy store is that it is a very large location. Because of this fact, it has a lot of merchandise, and a lot of things to choose from. As is the case with all Old Navy's, this store offers all of the expected clothing, and other items that you would expect from this retail chain. The one thing I really like about this location is the fact that due to their size they really have a vast selection, meaning, there's really a lot of choices to make. And, that's a good thing. This large location is very well laid out as all Old Navy's tend to be. You can easily find what you're looking for. Also, as is the case with all Old Navy's, the staff here is very nice. Received the worst service by a Nancy at this location. Not once but twice on two different occasions!! My first encounter with her was in the summer. She was short in her responses, unfriendly and unwilling to help to the max. I made an inquiry if she could help me find a smaller size. She told me whatever they had out was it. Meanwhile the employee in the fitting room directed me to the cashier counter to have them search other locations or online. Nancy did not offer to do so. She simply said whatever they had out was all they had. When I expressed that I understood that and was seeking to find if I could locate it elsewhere, she seemed perturbed to assist me. Not a single smile the whole time. Unfriendly, totally rude. I didn't bother complaining to management as I was on a time crunch myself, and wanted to give the benefit of doubt that she was having a bad day despite it not being my problem and her failing to put her best foot forward for customer service purposes. But flash forward to my experience last week when I stopped into the same store and lo and behold I was helped by her again. I didn't know her name, but I immediately recognized her face. It's sad when my reaction was "ewww the same person." I couldn't wait to see how she handled me. And she delivered her same miserable service despite my pleasantries where I initiated a hello and a smile first. That was my attempt to set the tone and instead she carried through in the same demeanor she did last time. I was making a purchase there were no questions or did I find everything OK? No small banter, friendly talk and again the initial hello came from me. She was also too busy chitchatting with her nearby cashier friend while attending to me. Why are you worried about what somebody's doing after work with their friends when you have a customer in front of you? Zero out of 10 stars on her service if the length of my review doesn't express the dissatisfaction I feel then I don't know what to tell you old Navy. read more

There are no associates to be found if you need one. Not even in the fitting area. There was only ONE person working the registers, and the line was growing. There was a young lady behind the counter chatting it up with the guy who was trying to ring people up and do his job, completely ignoring the growing line of customers she could have been assisting. The guy on the register looked stressed and annoyed that she wasn't working; letting everything fall on him. She eventually sauntered off pretended to work. FINALLY a friendly older lady came up and checked us out. The store is in disarray, with jeans not folded and placed properly. The unattended fitting rooms are messy, and you have to find an acceptable room and assist yourself. Very poor experience. read more

Their team members and management especially someone who I believe is the store manager should be ashamed of themselves for discriminating towards the elderly and racial profiling my relatives who are from a China and doesn't speak very good english. We were looking for some nice clothes for them so they can bring back some clothes for themselves and relatives back in China but from the way that everyone who works in the store treated them. This store is such a great place to stock up on your essentials! Tees, shirts, pants, comfy dresses and pjs. They also have a decent work out clothes section! Everyone is nice here too. It's located about the center of the spectrum near the merry go round. They have awesome sales that are hard to beat. The only thing I'm not crazy about their clothes is that many either can't be dried in a dryer or they need to be ironed every time you want to wear. read more

I come to this mall from San Diego every month. This is my favorite old navy only because it has bigger inventory and the best mall as well! Came here to shop, everything was clean. A lot of workers though who are cleaning up and kind of stayed in the middle of the center aisle and made it difficult for customers to get and look at stuff. Unfortunately I didn't get the name of this lady, but she was Caucasian and short light brown hair. The first encounter was when I was with my boyfriend looking near the clearance section and I was near their employee door. I didn't even realize until that lady came out and said," you guys doing okay?". She didn't smile , just sounded like she was concerned. So obviously I had to smile and said yeah, just looking around. My mother was in the fitting room trying on stuff while I was still looking around. I had a pink tote bag on filled with other items I BOUGHT from other stores. I then walked towards the jeans section and I saw this lady again. She was EYEING me to the max. I disliked it and felt uncomfortable. You could literally check the cameras I haven't done anything! It was disgusting. Once my mom came out of the fitting room we went towards the line. I was then stopped at this table of $4 shirts because I still didn't get anything for myself. Guess who I saw? That same lady. She asked me,"are you doing alright?" As she eyed at my tote bag... she didn't even try to make eye contact with me! At this point I just smiled and kept looking around the whole table. I circled around the $4 shirt table because they looked nice and had cute graphics on them. As I went around, she would bend down to fold the clothes and eye at my bag. She would get up and look at me again. She stopped. I touched some shirts, looking for my size and she immediately made eye contact. Like am I triggering you much? what about the other Caucasian's with tote bags touching the shirts? What's so wrong about me? Was it because I was wearing a mask? I put down the cute shirts I wanted to buy because of her eyeing me the whole time. I never want to shop here again. All because I had a tote bag from cotton on with their clothes inside it! I literally told my mom we should leave but she wanted all these handful of items. It was a disgusting experience. All the other places treated me like a regular customer. I don't get why she was so pushy with it. Thanks to this lady I no longer want to shop here, and would like to advise those who wear tote bags w/ items previously bought and personal items inside! There is this old lady who helped me at the register and she was SO rude. I got these pants and they were like in the 50% off section and she didn't apply the discount at first. So I asked if these were n sale cause they were on the 50% off rack. She looked at me like I was dumb and went "which rack!?" And I pointed and she just rolled her eyes and exaplined that they weren't. I'm not upset that the pants weren't on sale but her ATTITUDE was awful. They need to fire the old lady with the bulging blue eyes. She proceeded to push the credit card on me and explain it to me like I was five. Never going back to old navy. read more

I was never a big fan of Old Navy in the past, but I find that it's a convenient family one-stop-shop for me now that I'm married with a child. I usually go straight to the toddler section since I tend to purchase more clothes for my child than me! They have some really cool and trendy outfits at decent prices. Last time I was there, I applied for the Old Navy Visa Card and now I even get more great deals. Their reward system is really great. I got a $35 reward amount in my email so I went back and used it up! I would also recommend signing up for their email list, as they tend to email you even more coupons. I had a $10 off $50 coupon and even saved more $$$.....it's the little things in life that makes you so excited :) :) :) read more

Even with my new wardrobe requirements because of a recent work promotion, I'm still an Old Navy fan. No more polos, khakis or jeans to work anymore. It's all dress slacks and dress shirts - at times, suit and tie. But that doesn't stop me from even looking around in an Old Navy. I really like their inexpensive bargains on basic, lounge around tops and bottoms. I really like when their stores drop an additional discount on their already marked down clearance items. There wasn't much on this visit but I'm sure there will be soon with the holiday shopping season just around the corner. read more

I had a NASA sweater for $23 on August 31, 2018, and I saw a sale on the same sweater for $15 at Costa Mesa. Maybe, I should have gone to the Costa Mesa store for price match, but I made a mistake to go to the Old Navy store at Irvine Spectrum. Sometimes, Corporate America wins while the American consumer loses. I asked them to call the store at Costa Mesa to check whether the same item is priced at $15, but they were too lazy to make the call. I would not be surprised that the cashier will continue to work at Old Navy until her 80's. I think you have to be an idiot to wear a NASA tee-shirt or sweater if you were never employed at NASA as an engineer or astronaut. However, I have to look at the big picture. At least, Corporate America will not make one penny from me by paying for the sweater after I returned it for a full refund! (one hour later) I finally got my NASA sweater for $15 at this Old Navy store at Metro Pointe. I had a bad experience at Old Navy store at Irvine Spectrum and gave them a one out of 5. It is somewhat surreal and unbelievable. I mentioned in my previous evaluation that the one at Irvine Spectrum did not honor the price match. Well, I refunded the NASA sweater at Irvine Spectrum and got two sweaters one XL and other L for myself and my father at the Metro Pointe Old Navy store. Since the Old Navy store did honor price of $15 per sweater, and I gave the Old Navy store at Metro Pointe a 5 out of 5. I guess the people in the Old Navy store at Irvine Spectrum does not get it when the customer is always right. (one hour later) I contacted my credit card company and told them I forgot to use my $20 rewards points. So, I got the XL NASA sweater for free and got the other L sweater for $10. So, I paid around $5 per sweater. I guess the people in Old Navy Irvine Spectrum lost. read more

I'm not a huge Old Navy fan, or a fan of the Irvine Spectrum in general. However, I almost exclusively wear Old Navy boxers (they're cheap but unlike other ON clothing they don't fall apart quickly or feel like they're made of cheap material) and this location always has a good selection. So, of course whenever I am in need of a new pair or two, I find a couple other excuses to visit the Spectrum and hit up this location. Just...go later on at night. You'll avoid the crowds of people browsing and long check out lines. read more

Did an in-store pickup here and the customer service was a bit disappointing. Like other Old Navy locations they have a separate waiting area for in-store pickups so you don't have to wait in a longer purchase line. However, I waited and watched as the cashier kept taking the next customer in the purchase line. Then another employee came by and told me that they would be with me shortly and then proceeded to ring up another customer in the purchase line. Finally a third employee came by and conducted my transaction. What is the point of waiting in the in-store pick up area if you would get accommodated quicker by just waiting in the regular purchase line? read more

We braved the last minute Christmas shoppers and came here to buy a gift card for my work Secret Santa. It was Thursday night and who knew so many people still shop at Old Navy?!? This location at the Irvine Spectrum was fairly large. However, it was looked pretty messy. Granted, I'd rather see employees at the register than watch someone fold clothes when there's a long line of people waiting to pay and leave. Line moved pretty quickly. I chose a gift card to the left of the registers on the wall. The cashier who helped me was very nice and helpful. He even let me know that I can make that little gift card box to hold the gift card. I've never been an Old Navy fan. Not even when the 'performance fleece' (Old Navy, Old Navy, Old Navy Performance Fleece!) was possibly the coolest thing around. That being said, I've ended up buying a few bits and pieces from here more times in the past 6 months than I probably have in the 26 years I've been alive. Why, you ask? If you work in a 'business casual' environment (like myself) and don't always want to splurge on pricier items, Old Navy has some great finds. Two days ago I picked up a wrap-around sweater (my office is a deep freeze) that will go nice with trousers; also picked up a V-neck sweater (in a light teal colour - received compliments yesterday!) and a plain red shirt - just because. The sweater - on sale for something like $10.77 - could have easily been sold at any other store for around $40 - $50. Sure, maybe I won't get 100 washes out of it - just 99 - but still, for the price, you can't beat it. In the summer, they have great deals on flip flops that are every shade of the rainbow. (Yes, Target has these too.) I did buy a bathing suit from here.. umm.. that's the one thing I wouldn't buy here. There wasn't much 'support' and it kept untying itself when I was in Maui. Yeah. When you shop at Old Navy, it feels like you're making your way through the bottom-of-the-barrel. There are tons and tons of people and families pushing their way around and making a mess of everything in stock. If you come here during a special or a sale, just forget about it. If you're a little late, sizes will be gone, the store will look like a cyclone has gone through it, and the lines are SO long. That said, I'm giving this Old Navy 3 stars because when I went there I was actually able to find a couple cute tank tops! read more

I love this Old Navy! During the weekend it can get a little crazy, just like any store at the Spectrum, but I went here last night to buy some slacks for work and it was peaceful, and quiet, and there was a wide selection of everything in all sizes. I ended up buying a pair of their Skinny Trousers, which fit well and wear like slacks except for they have a skinny fit, which is so much more hip right now than a boot cut or wide leg pant. The 4's were a little big, but I couldn't even button the 2's!! Weird sizing. They were on sale for $24.50 though, and were the best pair of trousers I tried on at the Spectrum all night. :) Their fitting room attendant was super nice and friendly and flirting with me, which is always nice! He got me another size in pants which made me so happy, and he chatted me up for ten minutes about working and makin' money and all kinds of nice stuff. Since I have a boyfriend though, I had to make a quick escape when he got distracted by a customer. Phew! Old Navy is good for lots of basic things, but I don't often go out of my way to go here, because of their sometimes inconsistent styling. Dang, their dog clothes are really cute though. I got my boyfriend's dog a sweater one time with a hood, and it always flops up on top of her head. She looks like a little pink gangster poodle. haha! read more

I drop by monthly to check out what's "in season". I despise paying full price, so you'll almost only see me walking out with a bag when it's on sale. While most of their merch is of inferior quality to Gap/BR, I do have a knit sweater and pair of wedges that have lasted a number of years (much to my surprise). Actually, I think those were the only items I paid full price for? Favorite item to take advantage of: Clearance t-shirts that get marked down to an additional 40+% off ticket price. Perfect for workouts. Lately, they've modified the queue line with lots of practical sundry items (bottled beverages, stain removal pens,etc), which I think is smart, but reminds me of Fry's. If you bear in mind that items will probably wear out quicker here, and you know what sizes to look for, this store can complement anyone's existing wardrobe. I accompanied my friend in here since she needed to get something. From observation, there is a lot of stuff in the clearance section that she could buy. There are seats in the middle of the store where the fitting rooms are. It was possible to hear anyone inside them, so one might not want to hold a loud conversation internally. It was in the evening at the time so there was no line but only one cashier. It went quickly anyway. The staff was nice. read more

Very decent Old Navy store. Their layout is different from most of the ones that I frequent. For example, they put their fitting rooms smack dab in the middle of the store. No more walking around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to find the elusive fitting room sign! The store is also in great shape - well organized and tidy - and they have a better selection than many of the other So Cal Old Navy stores I've been to. Plus, I love Old Navy! The only minus was that the lines at check-out seemed to take a long time, but people were friendly and calm. read more

I like that they're open until 9pm, later than the others. Gives me time to go. I am always able to find things that peak my interest. The exercise clothing looks good and performs well. I was able to buy a quality gym bag with shoe compartment for less than $10...couldn't even find such a deal on Amazon.com. Every now and then, they have the fitted clothing I like. Sometimes I'll never see them again. Years ago, they had a fitted tee line that was great quality and great fit...I never saw that line again.....until I walked into a Banana Republic. I thought they shifted these things down not up. Anyways, great deals on clothing. The might not be the best quality, but they'll keep you stylish for a couple of years before they wear out/stretch out. read more

I was meeting friends at the Spectrum last night. I was a little early so I decided to pop in to Old Navy for some Christmas shopping. I liked a sweater on display but couldn't find it in the store. The friendly salesperson scanned the tag and told me it was the last one. It wasn't the right size so I was already thinking I would drive to another location in the morning when she said it was available online and she could waive the shipping charge and it would be delivered to my door. She walked me to a register (even though there was a small line), completed the purchase and gave me a tracking #. I was pleased and went about my night. This morning at 5:45am I receive an email informing me my order has shipped - less than 9 hours after I'd ordered it. Friendly, helpful sales staff and great customer service. Go glad I stopped in. read more
