Go! go.  Pricing was fairly high for...well, everything in the store. Yes, most transactions at this store require a 50 dollar bill or larger. (But not all things, Harriet. For instance; one Mitchell & Ness MLB Los Angeles Dodgers Logo Dad Hat is only $35, before taxation.) The staff was staffing and such. Like, I saw them around -- but idk if they were in the mood to chat + mix n mingle. The store also sells kewl things that are kewl n retro -- like a Dr. Dre record. This afternoon I stopped in at Guardian to pick up some work uniforms. The company I work for provides me with a certain number of uniforms as well as an allotment for additional purchases. The employees had the uniform paperwork but didn't seen to have the information on my allotment. When I asked my employer he stated that he had submitted it last week via email and remarks "For some reason it takes them a while to print the email and bring it out front." That being said, the employees were polite and this store had a ton of merchandise. The prices here are reasonable but the wait time for special orders seems a bit long 4-6 weeks. All in all, not a bad experience and I will be back in the future once they finally print off my allotment.

Once the watches were ordered and paid for (by over 200 employees according to guardian at $80 each), Guardian switched the watch (WITHOUT notifying anyone ) to a watch that is valued at $40 on the walmart website. Even worse they attempted to pass it off as a watch with a similar price point! Any decent business would notify people that they had to switch to a different watch for whatever reason and give the option of money back or purchasing something else. These people are taking the money and running. Now I wonder how often this sort of thing happens with them.

This store is fairly large and they typically always have a really great selection of items. When we arrived at the store we took a stroll through their seasonal section which had a ton of different clearance items. It was also great to see that they had a lot of fabrics on sale and overall their prices aren't too bad to begin with. The staff members at this store have always been really nice to us and usually either help us find what we are looking for or quickly cut up the fabrics we bring them. Overall, this is a really great Jo-Ann Fabric Store and it will continue to be the store we shop at in the future for fabrics and other do-it-yourself craft items.

The not-so-good experiences usually resulted from a one or two employees that I would deal with and as soon as I dialed in their days off, or just remembering their faces let me work around and all but eliminate the bad experiences. Other than that though, the prices were slightly more expensive than some of the larger, non-chain type material stores. But if your looking for crafts as well as materials under the same roof, this is the place to go.
