1-Star Review: Old Navy's Outdated & Customer-Hostile Pricing Policy I am beyond disappointed with Old Navy's archaic and frankly pathetic pricing and price-adjustment policies. In 2025, it is ridiculous that a major retailer still refuses to honor their own online prices in-store unless the item is also purchased online. What kind of logic is that? I shopped in-store on Black Friday, assuming I was getting the best deal of the year -- only to find out on Cyber Monday that nearly every item I bought was significantly cheaper online. I could have saved at least 25% more had I purchased online instead of in-store. When I called customer service, I was told they "can't help" and that I had to physically go back to the store for a price adjustment. Who does this in 2025? Fine. I went to the store. Then the cashier tells me I need to bring all the items back just so they can process a return and make me re-buy everything at the online price. How is this remotely customer-friendly? How is this efficient? Why does a customer need to jump through hoops because the company refuses to align in-store and online pricing? Lesson learned: NEVER shop in Old Navy stores. Their in-store prices are almost always higher, and their policies make it incredibly difficult to get a price adjustment. If you must shop at Old Navy, buy online only -- pick up in store if you must. Online purchases offer the best pricing and customer service actually helps you over the phone. Retailers with such outdated, non-customer-centered policies have no one to blame but themselves when they struggle or go out of business. In a world where Amazon, Nordstrom, Macy's, Temu, and Shein are making shopping easier and more convenient, Old Navy is stuck in the past. Every time I come to this location there is a young woman with dark short hair and glasses who is a cashier. Me alone with other customers always watch and she does more talking than ringing up customers. The line starts to grow and she is having long conversations. I know customer engagement is important but this beyond. Other locations much quicker. read more

The store manger Angel is rude and uncaring. He has the absolute worst customer service. They fulfilled my order and left half of my items out of the order stating they did not have them. I looked on the rack and they had about 30 of each item. When I told him he said I don't know and just looked away as if he did not care. Old Navy - Men's Clothing Near Me - Frisco, Texas

This is the worst Old Navy I've been to in a while. I get that the stores vary and some are busier than others. This one is terribly unorganized. I couldn't find a single thing in my size. You would find larges on top and smalls on the bottom shelf with some things. Items on a "clearance" rack that aren't actually clearance. Items all over the place halfway on the hangers or on the floor. This old navy looks more like a Ross or Marshals. I actually walked out with out buying a single thing and planned on using my reward cash. I'll order online before I go to this location again. read more

Today I saw the cutest light weight Sian tank on a rack that had a sign that said $6. There were multiple other tanks the exact same style just different color. When I got to the register the tank rang up as $10.99. When I brought it to the girls attention she along with another girl stated that different styles ring up as a different price. So I stated that they should make that clear on the sign they had posted on the rack, it's considered false advertising. What gravitated me to the shirt was that it was $6. The little girl snapped at me when I brought it to her attention in front of some other customers she was ringing up. Then the dark hair girl beside her had to chime in. This location has definitely gone down hill since things have opened back up. The sale clerk never even walked her ass from around the counter to go look at the rack to confirm what I was saying. Of course it's Sunday night they were closing and the line was already long so I did not stay to resolve the issue. But I'm very pissed at the outcome of the situation! read more

I have no problem with Old Navy merchandise. I like a lot of it. It's reasonably priced and good quality. I have a big problem with this store. Customer service is awful. There is always a long line at the checkout, even on weekdays. There are plenty of store workers, they just aren't interested in checking out customers! Around 8:15 to 8:30 p.m. the staff finally gets serious about checking out people, and the line by then can be 20 customers long. Near closing time they will bring more cashiers to the front to help. Meanwhile, customers have been waiting up to 30 minutes to pay for merchandise and get to leave the store! I've brought this to their attention and gotten no response, just a blank stare from the clerks and (apparent) floor manager. They just don't care. As another customer has noted, they close the dressing rooms early. It's another example of prioritizing staff convenience over customer service. My strategy right now is to go there to try on clothes, then go home and order online. At least I won't have to stand in line forever. read more

Like the other reviewer I get all of my yoga/running gear here because it's good quality and doesn't cost a fortune. However, I also love to get work tops here, especially when there's a good sale! Old Navy customer service is definitely NOT the best, if you walk in the store, sales associates will never greet you, never ask if you need anything or if you are looking for something particular, but if you ask them what you are looking for, they are pretty helpful. You have to talk to them first before they talk to you. I was there early (11:10a) shortly after they open and never got greeted, nobody acknowledged me, but when I asked for help, the girl that I asked (which I didn't get her name) was very helpful. Thank goodness for this clean and organized Old Navy. Each one varies ya know. Went in today to get a refund but decided to browse around just in case. I was worried that things would be all over the place and I'd run into an employee who dissing want to come to work today but that wasn't the case. Everyone was welcoming and it was easy peezy. The store was clean, had tons of new and old merchandise, and the employees were helpful. My ESHA he was super easy and I got out of there quickly. Old navy has great clothes, and some of the staff are really friendly! But at this location, lines are always long, and even if there's not that many customers, cashiers are slow... Staff all over the store don't generally greet you or ask if you need help, and dressing rooms aren't always manned because those employees are stocking too. I don't live in Frisco so once I called and asked if they carried swimwear in stores and they said yes! I get there and they only had a couple swim tops on a clearance rack, that was all they had lol.... the Plano store on Preston is great! read more

I was shopping here Saturday night with a friend. We saw a stack of tanks and tees that were marked $6. The sign actually said "$6 Tanks & Scoop Neck Tees" so I grabbed one of the scoop neck tees and went to check out. I see that the shirt is ringing up $10.49. I would not have grabbed it if it wasn't on sale. So I tell the cashier that it was marked $6 on the sign. Here's where the manager stepped in and inspired this one star review. The cashier then said "Let me have my manager check." All she did was walk two steps over to some young black guy, which by the way, I'm black, so this isn't a race thing... just helping you pinpoint who I am complaining about. He just scans it again with the same thing she scans it with and he says it's $10.49. As if he was going to see a different number... I tell him it's not worth $10.49, and he should check his sign. He said "I'm not checking the sign, we check those signs all day long and they aren't wrong." Which is literal nonsense because this sign was wrong and it's his job. So then I said, "I'm just trying to keep the next customer from having this same problem." and he walks away and instantly starts smack-talking me two cash registers over. He says "Why would any other customers have this issue when the signs are correct?" I vocally suggested he wait until I leave the store before he talks anymore crap about me. He acted like a child. I don't understand how that man-child has a management position at all. It was so unprofessional. He went on talking and mumbling long after I finished and walked away. I would count this old navy as a solid 4.0 because the sales are the best. A sweater for $5? Yes, please. The only downside is that it tends to be messy and lines (to the dressing room and to the counters) can be long. However, applauds to Old Navy for selling "unwanted" and "out-seasoned" clothes for cheap. I'm really not a huge fan of Old Navy, but I wander in once every blue moon. I know this location was recently renovated and I went in for the first time after it was complete. Very nice. Lots more selection than what I remember before. They also have a huge clearance rack with tons to choose from. Although it's a huge mess, so you need to be dedicated to deals to find something here. The line looked pretty long because they only had a few cashiers working, but it still seemed to move along rather quickly. I went into this location at about 8:30 (well aware they closed at 9), and I went to pee then to look at dresses and shorts. It was about 8:45, and I went to try on the $12 shorts (half off which I didn't know and super excited about )because they usually vary each year. I was told the dressing rooms were closed because they "closed in 10 minutes" to which I replied that they closed in 15 minutes and I just needed to try on one pair under my dress. I go to the register and ask when the $12 sale ends and they said it ended tonight. So I looked at the girl super confused and asked "so your sale ends tonight and you close in 15 minutes but I can't try the shorts on before I purchase them?" She responded with "you can return them if they don't fit"....seriously. I called he store and asked for the manager who was not around at the time if this happening. I explained what happened and she informed me that they have "quick change" stations. Me being super confused asked what that was, and she informed me that after 8:45 customers can use those for a few items to try on. I was NOT told this by the associates. I was simply told I could return them. I told them to have a good night and walked out. That is ABSURD! I looked online when I got it my car and the $12 shorts are $19 online. My wife and I had the worst experience in this Old Navy. We arrived right as they were opening the doors and a guy rudely said, "the other doors are open." We were just being polite by waiting until he opened the doors. We then walk into a store filled with hangers all over the floor in which I almost slipped on one as I was holding my 8month old son. My "go-to" Old Navy location. The have a tremendous sale rack in the back where you can something find clothes marked under $10 and even items that are marked down 75-80%. If you are into Yoga and Running, they have a nice fashionable selection of Runners' tops and Yoga pants and shorts, even in Plus sizes. I have visited this old navy a lot over the past couple of years and lately it's gone downhill. There is always a long line regardless of day or time. That was never an issue before so I wonder if staff turnover and improper training is the issue. The staff is friendly for the most part through. I recently found a hole in a shirt I bought and took it back with the receipt. It was a 7 dollar shirt but the offered to give me back the current price of 4 dollars. I said no because I had a receipt showing what I paid and was within the return time frame. It took at least 30 minutes to get 7 dollars back and three different staff members on two different registers. Seems insane to me and has never been so hard in the past. The stock is okay but usually disorganized and hard to find sizes and pricing doesn't always match at the register. read more

Store is a total mess! The clothes are laying on tables unfolded with sizes out of order, some without price tags or misplaced. The toddler and baby section were particularly disorganized and messy. The check out line was very long with only 3 cashiers working during peak time on a Saturday afternoon. I couldn't believe the total disarray! I think people need to realize that not only do other customers come in and destroy the folding/hanging clothes, but that it is extremely busy all the time. This is probably my favorite Old Navy because they are always so well stocked. I can always find my size because all the racks and stack are kept nice and clean (I refuse to search through a cluttered mess). I can always find something on sale (I also refuse to pay full price)!! The staff here is so friendly and helpful as well! An associate followed me around the store yelling at me and to other customers about me! She was calling me names and telling other customers I was ruining their shopping experience by bothering her...all because after ignoring the line at the register for 5 minutes while chatting with her friends, she asked how I was and she didn't hear my reply of "fine." She determined from that that I was a "bratty, rude, lying little girl" I've never in my life experiences something like that! She even left her register to follow me around the store and continued to call me names and yell to other customers that they would have to wait longer because she "had to take care of this little liar." This all went on for 15 minutes. When I finally got past her and to my car, I called customer service (the manager on duty did not care at ALL that her 45 year old employee was coming after me) and they offered me a $15. The district manager did said she was mortified, and apparently this associate has had complaints filed against her in the past. Needless to say I will never be returning. I am absolutely shocked and appalled that this would be considered acceptable behavior by any manager, and I will not support that! read more
