I've been so excited to have an ON OUTSIDE of the mall and close to home, but hadn't even visited yet! We recently came just to make some online returns (an option I LOVE because you get your refund immediately rather waiting for a mail return to arrive and process) and browse a little. The store feels quite small, but it has enough variety if you need to grab something last minute for the kids or a photo shoot or something. Prices are typical Old Navy prices. The parking lot is a pain. It's shared with like 5-6 other businesses, so it's always packed. 9/10 will return if needed! read more

There is a lot to like about Old Navy. I typically visit the store on Gosford, but yesterday, I went to The Mall and walked through. It's difficult to stop in without finding an awesome deal and that definitely happened yesterday. My daughters benefitted by getting cute rompers. It was easy to get in and out, which is not always the case, especially around holidays or back to school shopping days. On those days, I enter the store loaded with extra patience. If you don't have that ability, then I suggest you stay home. I encountered a typical problem at Old Navy yesterday, and it's one I experience nearly every time I shop there. Their sale signage is SUPER misleading. I'm sorry I did not take a picture, so I'll try to describe it the best I can. There were 2 racks of rompers, side by side. The rompers on the left had prints, were sleeveless and were originally priced $34.99. The rompers directly to the right were also sleeveless, solid print and originally priced $34.99. The signage was directly over the rompers on the right and read, sleeveless rompers $18 originally priced $34.99 discount taken at the register. Well, the rompers on the right were $18 and the rompers on the left were $20.99. I still got one of each. I've encountered so much frustrations with their signage in the past, that I typically price check every item before I go to the line to check out. I received a large shipment that I did not order and tried to return it to the store. I was at the store when it opened. The person who was walking around the store acted like it was an imposition for me to return the items. She had me leave them on the counter while I shopped. I had my 9-year-old daughter with me who needed some back-to-school clothes. The racks were a mess, there was no organization after wasting a bunch of time trying to find something in her size (no organization), We finally found a half a dozen items or so for her to try on. Only to find out that all of the changing rooms were closed for cleaning. When I asked for her to try the items on in the bathroom, I was told that was against store policy. So I just tried to return the original items and the salesclerk couldn't do that. I left the store with the items and donated them to a needed family. As an aside, when I contacted old navy on their 800 number, they told me they would reorder the items that I ordered and charge me for them again and oh by the way half of the items that I ordered were no longer in stock. I will never shop old navy online or in a store again. read more

As a mall employee I must say whoever the white/hispanic girl "Savannah" is at the valley plaza location, is always. And I mean ALWAYS rude when she comes to my work,I'm not gonna say where I work at but I will say there's plenty of other stores in the mall that feel this way,and if she doesn't straighten up I just might have to call corporate,she's about 5'4 with blondish brownish hair and she always has an entitled attitude,something needs to be done because she is always in a terrible mood read more

I have never liked coming to the mall, thanx to my mom as growing up. I like Old Navy, I really do. But I normally shop online, so coming to this store was a whole 360 turn for me. Like how on earth can people shop here??? This store and the children's place are a total mess. I love old navy, I really do. I think they're a great company with cute affordable family clothing. But. This location has awful service. I came for a little birthday shopping a few months after they opened from the covid shut down. It. Was. Packed. I found a super cute dress that was 30% off (score!) and some casual sandals and decided I was done because of the amount of people in the store. At the register the cashier charged full price. I asked for the original amount on the dress (I didn't check beforehand), and he repeated $35 each time I asked. I told him that I was pretty sure it was on sale and he said he was pretty sure it was not. I offered to go look but he said it was fine, looked around for help and said "No, the sale was for across." Across what? Across the aisle? Across the store? I paid full price because it wasn't worth arguing about. When I got home I received yet another email from Old navy (they've really been spamming lately). Every time we go school shopping we always make a stop at old navy.. Whether we shop at the mall or some outlet. The prices on jeans are always on sale and there's always good deals throughout the year. My older son is pretty picky w his clothes, but always finds the right jeans here. After all, who can beat $15 jeans for a teenage kid? There's a lot of nice things on their clearance racks and old navy caters to the whole family. Whenever there's a sale it gets pretty packed, so if you're okay w long lines then you will get great deals here. read more

The customer service here is horrible. They are extremely slow. If you are going to sign up people for your rewards program, you should have them stand aside. Every single register was registering somebody for the rewards program and the line was extremely long. read more

I love shopping for cheap jeans here. This is always one of my first stops on my "Day after Christmas" sales junkets. The jeans seem to fit my body well, and I'm certainly no skinny-mini. They also wear well, and don't go out of fashion quickly. In other words, they are cute but not so trendy as to go out of style overnight. I particularly like the large selection of styles that are clearly marked by feature: straight leg, boot cut, high rise, medium rise, low rise, stretch, they have them all. The salespeople are really good at keeping the jeans well-organized. Once I find the right combination of features, it's never too hard to find my size and color - dark, medium, light. It's easy to get into the store, find what I need, and get out again. My mom likes to shop here with me, too! read more

10:30 am store somewhat busy . One cashier at register, ten people in line including my self . I went to find a sales person to se if we could get some help up their . Found young lady , I told her there was only one cashier. Horrible service they took an hour to process my exchange which the cashier didn't even know how to do! He returned my items and made me repurchase and the items weren't even the sale price I bought them for! Manager couldn't do anything cuz this idiot has already made the transactions. The staff definitely needs some retraining. Especially when it comes to credit card transactions. They refused to admit their mistakes in calculating discounts, which wasn't a big deal. It was just a $5 different I was fine paying but another employee decided to sign for me and void the transaction causing it to decline when they tried to rerun the transaction. At that point she said my card wasn't activated.....how does that make sense when she just processed the card...she also failed to give me a receipt saying the transaction was voided. This place seriously needs to rethink their training procedures. This employees reaching over the counter and signing for customers to void the transaction they messed up is not ok. And I doubt the Credit Bureau would approve of a consumer practice that goes against the customers approval. read more

This store will not honor stuff that they have mark on sale. I tried to purchase two shirts for my daughter that were on sale for 6 dollars if you bought two or more. I was going to purchase two. When I got to the register I was told it was just on plain shirts not graphic shirts. Also the store was dirty and drinks left in the changing room, with clothing piled up on the bench. read more

Typical Old Navy in terms of crowdedness. That's almost always a given. However, all employees ( from the ones on the floor folding clothes to the dressing room attendants to the cashiers) are friendly and more than willing to assist. A woman was talking loudly on her cell phone in a different language while looking at items on a special sale table. She was looking for shirts in a certain size across the table and asked one of the associates to get them for her. It appeared as though she was able-bodied and just being super lazy (and of course, still on the phone). The associate didn't blink or give any attitude whatsoever. She just obliged and was very nice about it. That's going way above and beyond, if you ask me. There was a long line to check out (as is typical) but more associates opened registers and it went very quickly. Cody has helped me the past two times I have been there. He is always very sweet and polite. Not that it matters, but he's also quite the cutie. :-). I always enjoy my experiences at this store, even though it's crowded. Five stars for sure! read more

I was in your store in Bakersfield #05155 and was greeted by Juan Olivares who asked what I needed. He said he did not know women's clothing but went and found Maria Escobar, who stopped the stacking she was doing and assisted me by showing me a ship load of styles and when I did find one, but not in my size. She went and found one in "the back". I looked for some blouses and went to check out and was assisted by a very polite and nice young woman, Rebecca Medrano. They were all employees you should be proud of because the represent your brand so well read more
