I think that is to be expected towards the end of the day when customers have been in and out and might not put things away correctly, but 10 am disorganized. I found these cute flip flops for my toddler. he needed a toddler size 7 and again, great deal. $2 for the flip flops. he was so excited. we went to check out and apparently "Disney" apparel was not included in the deal. but these flip flops were under the $2 sign. this my conclusion of disorganized. Plus, there wasn't even a tag with the price on the flip flops. so after spending 30 minutes scouring to find flip flops in his size and check out to walk out empty handed he was devastated. my son doesn't usually throw tantrums so we walked out peacefully but as you can imagine, I had a pretty sad 3 year old. I'd expect a store to be organized especially right when they open, correct items in the correct place to indicate pricing, especially if there is no tag to display a price. lastly the lady who checked me out was unkind, unfriendly, and her and her coworker were chatting for a solid two minutes while I was the only one waiting in line. lets up the customer service skills with a smile at least and maybe some remorse for an item being in the incorrect spot when you just opened.

But somehow we missed Nordstrom Rack.It was 102 today when we entered the store located in the upscale Riverwalk Shopping Center. I liked Nordstrom the minute I felt the cool AC. Nordstrom is a large, open store featuring quality merchandise We looked in a lot of travel departments In all those stores. Nordstrom hands down had the largest selection of luggage sets, brand names many different sizes soft and hard cases most with the desired spinners. I was impressed. We were done no more shopping anywhere else or on Amazon. We easily decided on the Travel Pro brand, it had excellent reviews my set is grey my wife picked out a black set. Great price a friendly Andrew checked us out and explained the generous return policy. I didn't shop except for luggage I'll return after our vacation Check this store out.

This Nordstrom Rack has plenty of inventory it just happens to be average, overpriced items that can be found at the TJ Maxx right next door or somewhere between Marshalls and Kohls. Today was probably one of the few times that I actually was looking for a pair of shoes and they happen to be some hocus I don't believe Nordstrom Rack does price matching when they add their stickers to their products but a lot of their products are overpriced whether something is on sale or not is debatable. Today I was looking for On clouds or Hokas for my upcoming trip. The Nordstrom Rack usually has comparable prices to online at the on store or even the Hoka store but after researching several items including the one in the pictures below there's no reason to shop at Nordstrom Rack anymore, instead shop online and save 10 to 20%. I really do understand sales price meaning Hoka can run better sales in most cases as the manufacturer but most items are overpriced in Nordstrom Rack. Ralph Lauren polo shirts two to three years old are still running $70 even more expensive than the outlet price, basically Nordstrom Rack is overpriced in my opinion and this one in Bakersfield has given me reason to continue to go.

Last weekend, I took my 18 year-old autistic daughter to Lane Bryant. Her school program was…read moreholding its first prom, and for the first time in her life, she wanted to wear a dress. She has sensory & behavioral challenges, so I was not looking forward to dress shopping. I decided to start at Lane Bryant since it's small and would have something in her size. When we entered the store, we were very quickly greeted by Cheryl. I explained why we were there, and she immediately grasped the situation. She asked about my daughter's sensory needs and offered to have us sit in the Accessible fitting room, which had a soft comfortable chair for my daughter to sit in, while Cheryl picked out some dresses. We tried on several and ended up with a pretty floral one with stretchy, comfortable fabric. It was perfect. My daughter had her prom last night and had a wonderful time. Everyone told her how beautiful she looked, and she felt special. Thank you to Lane Bryant, and especially to Cheryl! Young people like my daughter don't always get to have the same experiences as their peers. You were a big part of her amazing evening!
