This is one of those places that has "unique, beautiful, one-of-kind, don't no other woman have that outfit you're wearing" here in Bakersfield. I spoke to the owner who just finished custom ordering clothing for a bride and her entourage from catalogues. Now that's right down my alley! Because they haven't had their Grand Opening yet, I would recommend calling the store to find out their Opening Day. I've included the phone number. One little great idea she shared: she delivers custom orders. Already loving this chic way of doing business. 661-699-4434

You can find great pieces for a great price. Katt is so friendly and very helpful! She can even help dress you up or pair your choices of tops and bottoms. Just like someone said on her comment, it's like shopping with your girlfriend when you come here! I've been here a few times during First Friday downtown and have always found something to purchase. Have also brought in a friend a couple of times who's always been happy to find great deals! During my recent visit, Katt had informed me that she recently started doing Trunk Shows for anyone interested to have a private shopping party with a group of girlfriends. The way it works is similar to any clothing party. You book a trunk show, you invite your friends, and you & your friends can shop in the store (store will be closed to the public). She mentioned wine and snacks may be included at your party. As a trunk show host, you earn 10% from your party sale which you can use to shop at the store. Sounds like a fun thing to do if you have a lot of girlfriends to invite. Overall, I really like this store and I definitely recommend to come check this place out!

Nordstrom Rack in Bakersfield is an average experience compared to the other Nordstrom Racks across…read morethis beautiful state of California. This Nordstrom Rack has plenty of inventory it just happens to be average, overpriced items that can be found at the TJ Maxx right next door or somewhere between Marshalls and Kohls. Today was probably one of the few times that I actually was looking for a pair of shoes and they happen to be some hocus I don't believe Nordstrom Rack does price matching when they add their stickers to their products but a lot of their products are overpriced whether something is on sale or not is debatable. Today I was looking for On clouds or Hokas for my upcoming trip. The Nordstrom Rack usually has comparable prices to online at the on store or even the Hoka store but after researching several items including the one in the pictures below there's no reason to shop at Nordstrom Rack anymore, instead shop online and save 10 to 20%. I really do understand sales price meaning Hoka can run better sales in most cases as the manufacturer but most items are overpriced in Nordstrom Rack. Ralph Lauren polo shirts two to three years old are still running $70 even more expensive than the outlet price, basically Nordstrom Rack is overpriced in my opinion and this one in Bakersfield has given me reason to continue to go.
