AirMaxx has been consistent with skilled and friendly professionals for the five years they've been servicing my heat and air. Keri keeps my service on point so I don't have to worry about it. After conducting thorough independent research--including resources such as newhvacguide.com--I contacted multiple HVAC contractors. The process involved two principal challenges: the phase-out of R410A refrigerant effective January 2025, and the need to find a contractor with expertise in HVAC inverter technology. Airmaxx Mechanical distinguished itself with an informative website, and Josh stood out by taking the initiative to perform a Manual J calculation (unlike the others) without prompting. Furthermore, unlike other companies that dispatched only sales personnel, Josh personally oversaw the project and participated directly in the installation alongside his team. I also wish to acknowledge Keri for her exceptional efforts in sourcing the desired HVAC unit and her prompt, responsive communication regarding any inquiries.

Outrageous Overcharging! Stay away from F. HRR! They will…read morevastly overcharge you for basic repairs and give you false information just to make a bigger sale. They charged me a staggering $800 just for a basic capacitor and the labor to install it. They claimed a universal fan motor would not fit my HVAC unit. They lied to me and said that my unit would only fit the expensive manufacturer model for $2,400. I called a second company for a backup opinion. They easily installed a universal fan motor with zero issues. The total cost for parts and labor was a fraction of what F. HRR quoted me.This company is dishonest and overpriced. Save your hard-earned money and call a different HVAC service instead.

I'm one of the lucky former customers who called to schedule a maintenance appointment for a water tank flush, left a message, and never heard from them. Perhaps it was because I mentioned the $49 promotion that they offer on their website, that they didn't bother returning the call. Two weeks later on a Saturday, I contacted The Plumbing Officials who responded within 10 minutes and offered to do the job that day but I scheduled the job for Monday. That's how service is supposed to work. It's appears that the new company is only looking for volume and their work isn't what it used to be. To get a better idea, check out the reviews for FH Furr on yelp, It ain't pretty. Fun fact: FH Furr doesn't allow you to opt out of receiving ALL emails from them. Sure, you can stop the marketing emails, but they force you to select from a list of the ones you want. There's no "Leave Me Alone" option, so if you are a previous customer, you will continue to be contacted.

The team that came out, Peanut, John, and Jeremiah, was absolutely incredible. They were thoughtful, kind, professional, and so quiet I barely knew they were here. They arrived on time, completed everything, and had the area cleaned up by 2:30 p.m. Based on Ronnie's quote and recommendation, they also did minor duct work to enlarge the supply ducts to the far end of the house. We heard and felt air coming out of three vents that we honestly had not felt in over 20 years of living here. Ronnie was the only person who mentioned that solution when he came out to quote us for a new system, and it made an immediate difference. While the install was happening, Mrs. Daniels, the owner, came by personally to collect payment and have us sign the contract. I am usually someone who prefers to do things online, but having her show up in person and put a face to the business was such a thoughtful touch. She even hugged me at the end of the transaction. From start to finish, this was a wonderful experience. The system works beautifully, the house already feels better, and the people made the whole process feel personal and cared for. I would absolutely recommend Daniels.

If I have been paying each month, then they should still honor the two free inspections otherwise for the year, as it's like I'm being charged a much higher fee for the last inspection if I simply add up the monthly payments. They've been timely in the past and I think fair, and it looks like the other person who had come over instead of Joey prior to the last inspection had not replenished the Freon when he was supposed to (in case a top off was needed). That used to be part of the yearly inspection plan I had. As a result, Joey saw that Freon was low and I guess assumed there was a leak) and I had to pay nearly $300 to top off the Freon. Odd. I have a call in to them to discuss this agreement.
