Air Nerds delivered exceptional service once again. Their team arrived promptly, worked efficiently, and provided a thorough breakdown of the services completed--complete with photos. After two great experiences, they're now my trusted HVAC company. Highly recommended. Carletta K. read more

What an awesome experience. My ac system went out and I contacted the company via their automated system and received a phone call back in 20 minutes. Luckily the company was able to come out the same day. Will was awesome. He took the time to explain the problem and gave me options along with prices. He was able to do the work in a short amount of time. I am more than thrilled with the work and the pricing of the job. I wholeheartedly recommend this company next time you need service on your ac system! read more

Our heat pump started heating up on Friday July 3 2026 at about 11 am by 3 pm outside temp was about 110 heat index. I called my on- contract hvac company - they had no availability. I called 2 others the best they could do was Monday. Was able to book appt with Air Nerds - Allen got here about 630 pm. very knowledgeable and courteous. It was also great value on the parts. Am thinking of changing over to them. read more

Gave me useful information and offered prompt service. I will use them in the future.

Honest and trustworthy! Diagnoised the repair correctly after another company diagnoised it wrong. We would have been out hundreds and hundreds of dollars for the wrong part. Trust me, this company is above and beyond! Thank you for saving the day and not taking advantage of my elderly mom. read more

Our HVAC stopped cooling late evening and the Air Nerds sent a tech out around 9am the next morning. He was very professional, wore shoe covers, diagnosed the problem and didn't overcharge. A wonderful experience and the Air Nerds are now my HVAC company of choice. Thanks. read more

Great service. Quick to take a look and service our home all the way in midlothian. We will continue to use their service.

First of all, Thank You Air Nerds for fixing my furnace ignitor. The tech, Brian was friendly and resolved my issue. However, I truly believe that the charge for the fix was a bit overpriced to replace a $20 part (Found it online). I was charged a total of $450 to replace the ignitor. They first charged me $125 to diagnose the problem (I did tell them prior that I thought it was the ignitor). Brian then said that he would be back later with the ignitor. This is where I made my mistake, I should have asked him the cost to replace it (Or better yet, it would have been nice for Air Nerds to tell me!). This way if I thought it was too high, I could either replace it myself (I replaced it once before but forgot where it was located) or call around for estimates. I do have a heat pump and this was keeping the house warm enough, this was for the gas backup heat. So, Air Nerds did the job but I think $450 was a bit steep for a simple fix. I did search online and it said that this type of fix usually cost between $150 to $350 professionally, including parts ($20-$100) and labor ($75-$150). Anyway, I hope this review helps you decide whether Air Nerds is the way to go! One more note, they did arrive a half hour late! They first asked me if 8am or 9am would work, I told them 8am. After about 20 minutes, I emailed them and they apologized and said that someone was on their way. read more

Timely, professional and thorough. James is easy to work with. The technicians were communicative and respectful. Highly recommend.

Great service ! They were able to send their technician Philip within two hours after I called. Philip diagnosed the problem and had the unit up and running again within an hour. He explained everything. I definitely plan on calling Air Nerds again for future HVAC repairs. The price was fair. read more

James promptly responded to my Yelp review update, he got us sorted, and we still highly recommend using Air Nerds for your HVAC needs. Great communication. read more

They came same day when my heat pump froze in peak summer. Brian was excellent and able to diagnose and fix the problem before end of day.

Thank you for returning the second day with the needed part to service the ac and return my stated unbearable situation to a healthier and much cooler environment. I had a tech from another company come out and the next day my A/C was dead. I contacted Air Nerds and they had a tech out that day. He spent several hours checking the whole system, cleaning it inside and outside, and giving me some suggestions for making the system run more efficiently. All this for the cost of the service fee, and it turns out the breakers had been turned off by the previous tech. They will be my go-to from now one. I couldn't be more pleased. He was very pleasant, took pics of everything, explained everything he did, and then emailed me everything (including pics) when he was finished. WONDERFUL! read more

Honestly a really solid business. Happy to have used them for our semi-annual HVAC inspection services. I would say they're top quality is their communication. Even though there was some issues on getting someone to out home on a date requested, they informed us at every turn on the status of the operating technician. Really appreciated the transparency and that they weren't just looking to shove their business down your throat. read more

What an excellent experience with Air Nerds. We woke up on the morning of Friday, December 22 and noticed the heat wasn't working. I reached out to several vendors in the area and most were not willing or able to help for almost a week. Air Nerds responded to my request on Yelp within 20 minutes and were at my home in less than 2 hours from my initial message. They kept me up-to-date on their arrival status, kept me informed on the process throughout and fixed the problem on the same day, which was the result of a faulty hi-low sensor. I've found good customer service rare in these parts, but this company was fantastic and I would highly recommend using them for your HVAC needs. read more

Very good experience with all the folks from Air Nerds. From the office appt. Set-up to the end they were very efficient, knowledgeable and professional. Good value for the price too. They took pics of our ducts, before and after which was great to see. I would recommend them highly, especially since James grew up in the business, which really gives him and the team a big leg up in my estimation! read more

We had another company come in and gave us an estimate just to repair our downstairs ac. This was right before the July 4th holiday and at the start of an intense heatwave. We had actually hired them to do the work but then the technician refused to go into our crawl space because a couple stray cats had been down there at one point. The damage those cats did to our duct work had recently been replaced and we had had no issue which those technicians. Instead of sending someone else they just blew us off. So I called Air Nerds. They came right out and gave use estimates, which included an estimate to replace both our ACs which were both giving us trouble. We decided to go ahead and do that. They came out and did the work over two days, were very efficient and did a great job. Our house feels awesome now when we come inside from the heat. I would definitely recommend giving them a call. read more

Air Nerds are my hero's. They replaced a ductless air conditioner that had been problematic since originally installed. They even added parts on and existing unit that had been omitted (refrigerant solenoid & surge protectors) for no additional costs. They are a rare company that explains what they are going to do with reasonable costs, and often do more than what they say, show up on time and respond quickly if I have a problem. Amazing. Daniel was very efficient and patient with me as I asked many questions during the install. I'm a retired engineer with nothing to do. His team mate was great too. They worked very well together and anticipated what needed to be done. They even drove to town to get a part for the other unit they noticed was never installed. I cannot recommend Air Nerds enough. I'd give them 6 stars if I could. I'd even kiss them full on the lips if that weren't inappropriate. Do your self a favor call Air Nerds for any HVAC needs. You won't be disappointed. They will exceed your expectations. read more

Air Nerds - Air Nerds hard at work. They're not really nerds, they are pretty cool guys. - Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC Near Me - Louisa, Virginia

Great service! Fast response, quick & friendly work, and fair pricing (over $150 cheaper than other quotes).

I have used a number of HVAC services in the past but Air Nerds outdid the rest. Daniel and his coworker did a great job looking under the crawlspace, cleaning the coils, finding and replacing a burned wire, and cleaning out the furnace. They recommended that I get the ductwork cleaned out as well. Personable, professional, affordable, and responsive! Picture: This is a burnt wire that was sitting by the heat exchanger. As you can see the wire was burned with wiring exposed. Definitely a fire hazard! Air Nerds found this and it says a lot about their attention to detail. read more

Simply an amazing, super-competent, and honest company! Another company came and claimed they couldn't find the warranty, claimed we needed a 120 day back ordered part when it was 100 degrees outside. They tried to sell us on a $20,000-30,000 new system. We were desperate to fix the system since my 100 year old mom lives in the house. James from Air Nerds came and found the warranty immediately, discovered the other company had left the freon caps off (tried to drain our system!), & we didn't even need the part they claimed was back ordered! From start to finish, James took 1 and 1/2 hours to order, receive, and repair our AC. Thank you Air Nerds, from our entire family!! read more

Did a great job on such short notice on a heatwave day, got my system functioning again. Worked through the evening to get it running. Very professional, a bit more expensive than I'm used to but well worth it in the short run when you need the cooling. Still working efficiently a month later when writing this. Yeah to the Nerds! Hello! Just wanted to say the Air Nerds are the best. Our AC was not keeping up with the temperature on the thermostat and got up to 75 degrees in the house. I called them that morning and they were able to come out same day. Bobby(technician) was able to diagnose the problems and got everything repaired or replaced. He kept me informed and updated throughout the process. He also helped me understand how our system works throughout the house. He got the unit outside thoroughly cleaned. I even got to see the years of dirt and guck being washed out of it. He even cleared out a dead bird that looked like he died a long time ago. The system has been running strong and cooling the house ever since. I would recommend the Air Nerds and Bobby to anyone. Thanks!! read more

Professional from start to finish. James was quick to reply with a response but unlike the others that responded with please call he was able to provide an actual quote for a routine maintenance service for a unit I hadn't had serviced in 6 years. On Tuesday an appointment was set for that Friday. I went to sleep Tuesday night and woke up Wednesday morning to an HVAC system that wasn't working, contacted James on Yelp and he was at my front door by noon and had it up and running about 45 minutes later. His prices are fair, it doesn't feel like he's trying to take advantage of you but just be paid fairly for his work. Hands down the best repair experience I've had and will use him in the future and recommend him to all my neighbors. Thanks James! read more
