Hanging out with family and our Moscow mule and blue moon

There were three of us. We ordered the Pittsfield poutine, St. Louis ribs plate with coleslaw & baked beans, burnt ends plate with potato salad & Mac n cheese, and a brisket plate and jalapeño cheddar sausage. The service was incredibly friendly and professional. Love the music and appreciated the cleanliness of both the main room and bathrooms. Highly recommend the brisket and baked beans! Yum-o!

Raspberry Chipotle wings. Better than any chain. Smokey flavor but fries to perfection! And I'm fussy about wings.

Being from Georgia BBQ is part of my DNA and I've eaten from New Mexico to the Carolinas, right up to Vermont. The meats are solid! You can't go wrong. We tried ribs, brisket, pulled pork, and wings. We loved the ribs and wings, I wish they offered a bucket of bones. Like half a rack of ribs and 8-10 wings. Just a bucket of bones The sides are good but not my personal favorite. I like potato salad with dill pickle and mustard. Everyone likes their potato salad different. The Mac was cold by the time we got home to eat it so it might be better hot. The sweet tea is solid but I don't think they know the baking soda trick we southerners use. I'd love to see some "seasonal additions". Like strawberry shortcake or watermelon in the summer as desserts. Fresh corn on the cob, smoked and could be turned into elote or esquites. Winter could see some smoked squash. Maybe partner with a bakery for some apple pie or tarts, sweet potato pie for winter desserts. Edit to add could you imagine a regular or sweet potato smoked and topped with brisket or pulled pork?? Also sell the tea by the gallon or in the summer offer half tea half lemonade. That's just my 2 cents. Overall good food. The staff were super sweet, like southern sweet. We will certainly be back.

Absolutely fantastic BBQ. A must stop in the Berkshires. We did take out before, but we just ate in the restaurant. The food is outstanding and service friendly

Mac n cheesey goodness

We were passing through and saw that this place had high reviews so we picked up food for dinner. It truly surprised me how good all the food was. Tenderrrr ribs, fall off the bone type. Super. Moist cornbread and the perfect creaminess and saltiness to their mac n cheese. The garlic parm wings were crispy and flavored to their perfection--haven't had these type of wings with high marks in a while. Old man Jeff was better than expected, even with the high reviews already!

Tourists, keep in mind that this is not fancy with music and artwork for sale on the wall. This is a real diner with counter stools and booths. I had the Greek Eggs for breakfast, which is a delicious combination of Greek spices, potatoes, sausage and other yummy treats. Toast comes with it (sadly not gluten-free), but you need to order and home fries, etc. I like that. You pay for what you want, not some inflated plate of extras. Note: you won't see the Greek Eggs on the printed menu. Ask for the specials. Greek Eggs are always there. My wife loved the raisin French toast. She said that it did not need syrup. I am told to try the Goulash for lunch by several people. It sounds great. If you are looking for a fancy or romantic meal, look elsewhere. Want a fancy vibe to impress, look elsewhere. Good food, service with a smile!…read more My husband and I enjoyed breakfast this morning. I am happy to report my blueberry pancakes with maple syrup were delicious. My husband also enjoyed his good French Toast and sausage. The coffee was fresh, and not at all acidic. Shelley is efficient and pleasant, and Liz serves everything hot and with a smile, and she keeps the coffee refills coming. What a pleasant time as compared with other places in Berkshire County that boast great atmosphere but where service is not on the menu. Oh and the prices are fair.

An absolute hidden gem in New Lebanon!…read more OMG, what an adorable little cafe! We were in New Lebanon and looking for somewhere to eat around 7:30 PM. Being a small town, there weren't many options still open, so we called to see if they were still serving dinner. The sweetest lady answered and told us their kitchen closed at 8:00 PM, but they would still be happy to take us. We're SO glad we called! The moment we walked in, we loved the place. It was beautifully decorated, with fresh wildflowers they had picked themselves, the tables were set so nicely, and everything had such a warm, cozy, welcoming feel. We were seated immediately and had ice water at the table right away. The service from beginning to end was seriously top-notch. Then the wonderful lady helping us, and I'm so sorry we didn't get her name, brought out freshly baked mini blueberry muffins. OH. MY. GOODNESS. They were DELICIOUS. That was the moment we looked at each other and knew dinner was going to be good. And it absolutely was! Our daughter ordered an omelette, my wife had the steak frites, and I ordered the chicken piccata. Every single dish was delicious. My wife also ordered a blueberry cosmo, which she loved! At this point we were completely stuffed, but there was no way we were leaving without trying dessert. We ordered the red velvet cake AND the chocolate croissant bread pudding with vanilla ice cream. Did we need both? Absolutely not. Did we finish them anyway? Pretty much! The food was just THAT good. We kept telling ourselves we were full and somehow kept taking another bite. What really made this place special, though, was the hospitality. We came in close to closing time, and instead of ever making us feel rushed or like an inconvenience, they welcomed us with kindness and gave us a wonderful dinner experience. That says a lot about a place. 5 stars all the way. If you're anywhere near New Lebanon, do yourself a favor and stop here. Places like this deserve all the support and business they can get. Great food, beautiful atmosphere, and genuinely wonderful people. We will DEFINITELY be back, and next time we're coming for breakfast!

I picked up a matcha latte here, and my friend catered a delicious brunch from this spot!…read more I appreciated that the matcha didn't come pre-sweetened. It could've been whisked/blended a bit better (separated a bit), but I was happy with it overall. Regarding the catering, I was a big fan of the avocado toast (super fresh and creamy and nice flavor) and tasty muffins (I enjoyed the blueberry muffin.) It takes a bit to make drinks / food, so be sure to allocate some time--this isn't one of the factory-like cafes that churn out drinks / whip out ready-made food. The interior is cute and has assorted offerings of general foods/supplies that were fun to peruse.

However, from the neon, to the juke box, to the menu and service, this place delivered. In true diner fashion, came at breakfast time. My son got "the best" chocolate chip pancakes he'd ever had, I, went with the roast beef club. Everything was on point. Well priced and handsomely portioned. Would have been 5 stars if pickle and cole slaw came with my sandwich (my favorite part of the NJ diner), but I asked and added them on. Will absolutely be back. Often.

We decided to wait and finally got a table about an hour later. No problem waiting, our waitress took some time before coming over which I understand on a busy holiday weekend. When she did come over we gave our drink and breakfast order to her and proceeded to wait. 15+ minutes later and our waitess never stopped by the table. During the same time two other tables seated after us received their food. My wife ended up asking the other waiter to please check on our food and followed up in about 5mins and said it's coming right out. Our waitress brought the order to us about 5 minutes later. Never once checked on us or asked if we needed anything. She had plenty of time to chat behind the bar though and bring us our bill. Will not be back. Food was just OK but service was non existent.
