This was one of our highlights while traveling through Arizona. We tried a flight of beers and Vanessa was kind enough to explain the beer flavors to us. You have to have the chili or chili brat, I can't explain how great it was!! Yum to it all read more

Ehhhh I felt like the beer was just okay. Tried the IPA, Copper, some chili beer, and the Pilsner. Service was really friendly and Bisbee is awesome so I am in a four star mood. read more

We were only here for the beer, and it didn't disappoint. I had the double hopped IPA and the other guys had the flight of seven. My IPA was very acceptable, and the others seemed to enjoy their samples. I tried the french clear one that was very unusual, and almost tasted like a cider. The food selection was very limited, either chile(made by the chef of a local critically acclaimed bistro) or brat and chips. The bartender was very nice and friendly, and let me know that they were pet friendly everywhere in the building. I will be back..next time with my dog. read more

This place was a pleasant surprise. Stopped into Bisbee for a day on a road trip. I was super stoked to find that they are an extremely dog friendly bar. The best thing about this place is their special cask Hazelnut Brandy Porter. 9.2%, ridiculously good, & only $5.50!! Their royal stout on nitro was bomb too. Everyone was super chill. Go check this spot out. read more

I met Sam while he was tending to the brewery. I promised to come back for lunch. I brought a realtor friend with me. The tables were all empty. There was a couple buying 2 colas to go. I asked if I could sit. The bartender told me the seats were taken. So, we left the empty bar with the cola couple. Sorry Sam, We tried.... read more

Having been to over 100 breweries in the country, I have to say this one.... Has good popcorn.

Arrived 12/30/18 the bartender was too busy to come back to take a food order. Asked a waitress for help and she said we had to order from the bartender. The beer was good, left and went to another establishment that wanted our money. If you have hours to wait for a limited menu (hotdogs and chili) that's it come here. I hope the owner sees this and hires more employees. read more

Really good local brewery!!! Get the on-tap sampler.

Good beer and a nice environment. The royal stout is tastey. I had the holy grail ipa today touch of citrus made it the perfect choice for a sunny afternoon on the patio. read more

Excellent variety of beers all made in the house. I really recommend the sampler as it gives you 3 ounces of seven different beers. our server was outstanding. this is definitely a place you want to visit. read more

Beer was nothing special, nor was the $5 bratwurst with regular old potato chips. If you're only going to offer one food item it should at least be something memorable. There are so many great places to eat and drink in Bisbee that I don't need to make a repeat appearance here. read more

If you can get past the attitude from behind the bar from the rude girl, maybe the beer is good. I don't know because I didn't stick around long enough to find out. read more

Awesome fresh brewed craft beer. They have a beer for all tastes. From stout to ale to pilsner. To seasonal. it is all great and the staff is amazing. If you have a chance to met the brewers they will talk beer with you. read more

Tried the root beer, which is supposed to be amazing. Zero carbonation. I mentioned to the server who sampled some herself and she told me that is the way it is supposed to taste. It was terrible. read more

I Have Traveled The Country and have spent a many hours in brewerys. My pint glass collection can a test to that. Old Bisbee brewing company has by far the best hand crafted brews in the country. I highly recommend their imperial vinilla porter. It is at the top of the list. Their staff are amazing, friendly, and willing to talk. If you have a minute or a day, stop by and have a pint, you will not be disappointed. read more

We enjoyed our brews and found them all over town after visiting the brewery. I didn't like the IPA, so went for the Scotch Ale, which was very nice. My partner had a stout, which was good. We tasted the champagne beer and it was too sweet for us. The 4 stars reflects the cramped and smelly indoor seating. It was also quite warm and humid (hey, it's a brewery) so we went to the outdoor seating up the stairs and out on the patio. It was late December, so we cooled off immediately. Free popcorn was nice. Very nice people visit Bisbee, so we always had folks to chat with up there--and the view of Brewery Gulch was ideal. When in Bisbee you have to visit the brewery at least once. read more

OUTSTANDING beer, great prices. Don't skip the tasting tray! Usually an IPA fan, I actually favored the pale ale, copper ale, and stout. Try 1/2 copper ale and 1/2 stout for an amazing black and tan. Having been to many, many local breweries in Arizona, this is my personal favorite. Don't miss it! The only (slight) drawback was our server wasn't very pleasant (though the person we spoke to on the phone the week before was lovely). Also LOVED that pets were welcome. read more

My boyfriend and I spent a couple of days in Bisbee last week. We ended up at the Old Bisbee Brewing Company both days. On the first day I ordered the sampler and he ordered the seasonal Porter. The Porter was good albeit a little on the sweet side for me but he liked it. The sampler included Mountain Lime Lager, Classic Pilsner, Copper City Ale, Double Hopped IPA, a combo of two of them (I don't recall which two) , Royal Stout and last Salut which tastes a bit like sparkling wine. I thought the Salut was good ... it had a nice smooth but crisp finish. But as a Guinness fan I preferred the Stout which had a slight bitter finish. I prefer Stouts and Porters over lighter beers. Several of the lighter beers had a sweet finish which I don't find very appealing. If you like beer, I would recommend trying the sampler. They have free popcorn and for $5 you can get a brat and chips. I rather liked the Salut or the Mountain Lime Lager for the summer months in Phoenix. They both were refreshing. On the second day we came here again for happy hour because I love sausage and wanted to try the brat. My boyfriend tried to order the seasonal Porter again but sadly they had run out earlier in the day so he went with the Double Hopped IPA. I chose the Stout and we split the brat. We were lucky because they had just come off the grill. There's a tiny build your own condiment table with catsup, mustard, sauerkraut and relish. The brat was pretty average but hit the spot. They also have a selection of t-shirts and hoodies for sale so my boyfriend got a t-shirt and I got a hoodie since I had forgotten to bring a jacket on our trip. I like their logo. read more

Beer sampler was great - think it came with 8 samples, and a good price. Get the chili- made by Cafe Roka! Indoor & outdoor patio seating with great view of Bisbee. read more

My husband and I stopped in here while road tripping through Arizona. I am so glad we stopped in! First, what a cute looking place. But more importantly, what great beers! Unique and delicious- every one of them! I wish we could have stayed longer. I really hope to get back to Bisbee some day and back to the brewery! read more

If your tastes are similar to mine and often chose to hit at least one brewery in every town you visit....then this place is it. Best beer i have had in awhile hands down. And a great if modest selection of fantastically different beers they brew. Get the sampler. Fantastic. No food served unless you're super hungry and willing to do a brat. Come for the beer and enjoy fine dinning on the next block. You won't be disappointed.Nice in town setting with pleasant outdoor space too. read more

Old Bisbee Brewing Company...looks better going than coming. I especially like the forced "no you'll have this beer", after watching her continuously poor foam into a glass and denying my request for an alternative. The result looked like wet papier-mâché in a tiny glass. Thanks OBBC, nothing like relaxing on a Sunday forcefully enjoying the bottom keg of the El Trigo. read more

Big changes are coming and it smells like hops at the OBBC.. I just had a 20oz of the new Double Hop IPA and it's so delicious . The golden color and the aroma of hops you sense flavors like a hint of pine and a floral aftertaste. NICE.. I'm very hoppy with this IPA read more

The Taproom is fun. Limited menu of bratwurst & chips, but good brews and company. Shannon, the bartender, was alot of fun. 20 oz, Double hopped IPA and Stout are great, but please don't drive after a couple. They are very high (above 7.0) alcohol. Black and tan was best this side of S.F. Nice crowd and venue, would return anytime. read more

Tried a sampler of all beers here. All were a little sweet & floral. The do offer half growlers here with the pop-top, Bavarian style seal, which helps hold the fizz in a little better than the screw caps on jugs. Not a great enough brewer to warrant a special trip to Bisbee, but worth checking out while you're in town. read more

Great beer! I found the Old Bisbee Brewing Co. Over the over the summer when I was traveling through AZ. The place is small and to the food menu consisted only of bratwurst and chips when I went. But the beers are where they shine. I tried a sampler tray of all of their brews before I settled on the Copper City Ale. The staf was friendly and the was nice. I'll definitely be going back here the next time I'm in Bisbee. read more

Nice, a little smaller than expecting but my friends like the beer.....I'm having the root beer

Great beer selection, dog friendly and had hot fresh popcorn on the bar. What more can one ask for?!

Beer was pretty darn good....Shame about the service.....We sat outside , got our order, and the waitress was more interested in schmoozing at the bar than checking to see if we may have wanted another round.....And then, she had the nerve to say that she hadn't forgot about us....All this on a late Tues afternoon.....maybe 8 people in the place....Hate to see it when it's busy....Other places to drink in this great little town..... read more

I recently had the chance to stop in this tiny brewery. Very well set up with it's brew house on the one side of the street and the tap room, and serving vessels on the other. Nice new equipment in what I believe was a 7 BBL system, very well set up, but squeezed together with the inside tables made it very cramped. As a senior brewer for a commercial brewery, I have tasted a lot of beer within different stages of the process, and found the beers at Old Bisbee Brewery to be lacking proper carbonation, body, mouthfeel, and even tasted notes of butter (diacetyl) in the Pilsner. The Double Hopped IPA was good, but tasted watery, while the Cooper City Ale was tasty, it also was light on mouthfeel and body. The carbonation, and the head retention of the beer was very weak, for which I asked the bartender and was told of a forced carbonation system, which I had never heard of. I do not want to sound too harsh, but these are easy fixes to what can be a great brewery for the southwestern region of AZ. read more

We stopped into the tap room on Sunday afternoon. I had the IPA and wifey had the root beer. Both were delicious. This is a nice tap room with reasonably priced pints. read more

I was extremely disappointed with this place. It's a bit of a tragedy that they don't really serve food. They're friendly enough, but the service is pretty bad, and the music was even worse. Maybe we came on an off-night, but Dan K. and I were just completely disappointed, especially after reading contrary reviews. Sigh. read more

Awesome brewery in an awesome town. I had the flight of different beers and everyone of them was extremely well done. The Mayan Stout was my absolute favorite. Very small and busy spot with great service. read more

When we first got there, only two at the bar but bartender said we could sit anywhere. We helped ourself to free popcorn. Then the entire experience changed when Buster the Brewmaster (?) greeted us! We never were offered free samples like the younger folks/locals have experienced, but it didn't mAtter. Buster Was the experience! He was so personable, knowledgeable, and full of fun stories of the area! Quite an asset! Beer very fresh. read more

Good beer, brats, cafe Roka vegetarian chili, and popcorn. Friendly staff. Open 7 days a week. Dog friendly patio. Highly recommend.

We are from Oregon and stopped by to try the local beer. What a nice surprise. Loved the beer. We tried several different ones. They have one for every taste. The person behind the bar offered the option of mixing a couple together. Great taste combination. Very nice people, will definitely be back. read more

Stopped by to try the beers... we had the sampler. Unfortunately all the beers were very watery. The winter apple beer was so bad we couldn't even finish 4oz. I don't think they quite have their recipes down. Has a good location, outdoor seating. read more

My husband (who is kinda a beer snob) and I love this place. The beer is great. I recommend getting the sampler tray so you can pick the beer that matches best with your taste buds. For me, it's the Plisner. The employees are super friendly which is a plus too. And, there is a great outdoor patio which as I can tell is dog friendly. What's better than hanging out with your dog and drinking a great craft brew while looking at Old Town Bisbee?!?! read more

Spent several hours there on July 4- great beers, salut, a nice patio and friendly service. Don't miss this when visiting Bisbee!

Bisbee is a favorite overnight getaway and those visits always include a visit to Old Bisbee Brewing Company. The patio is a comfortable place to spend an afternoon socializing with the other patrons or just watching the flow through Brewery Gulch. The beer is excellent but food is limited to brats and chips. We order carry out from the Mexican restaurant up the street so we can extend our stay on the patio. read more
