We visited the old Bisbee brewing company on a Saturday afternoon for some beer tasting. They had seven beers on tap and the tasting was $8.
They had a variety of beers from a Wheat, Pilsner, IPA, Double IPA, Stout, and even a wine inspired beer (Salut). The beers were pretty good but we especially loved the double IPA. It had a delicious hoppy-ness without being bitter. I would recommend trying this for anyone who says they hate hoppy beers. It is the right mixture of flavorful hops without the intense bitter aftertaste.
The taproom was a little tight but I suppose that could make it cozy. The service was nice and the prices were fine. We didn't try the popcorn, but should have (read it was free afterwards)... They also have bratwurst and chili if you're looking for something to go with your drinks.
Overall it was a pretty good brewery in the unique town of Bisbee. read more
