I love Casa Jalisco- best Mexican food in town!…read more Hours can be strange sometimes and the establishment is tiny. It's a family joint and has to flex to their personal needs at times. So just plan to pickup an order because it's well worth the little extra cost you pay compared to other Mexican restaurants in town. Birria tacos are delectable and likely the best I've had- greasy yet crunchy! My husband always goes for a burrito of some sort and ironically my daughter likes their hot dogs. Be sure to check the Facebook page for the location schedule, as they do move around…read more We made our first stop while they were at Atypical. The line moved fast and we ordered a variety of dishes, as we wanted to try a little of everything they offered. We dropped about $35/2 The nacho tots didn't work for me - more tot than toppings left me wanting something to smother them in. The toppings also seemed somewhat disjointed. I will say the tots were cooked well. Crisp but light and not too oily. The street tacos were another thing I'd skip next time. They were pretty dry & I should have asked for more lime. They were OK, but not great. The Birria Tacos were solid - the meat was thick, juicy & ttender. No skimping here. There is no consome served with them. The flavor carried well-enough that I was fine without the sauce. At 3 for $10, they were a crowd favorite. We were quite pleased with the chicken taquitos as well. Again, tender, juicy meat without skimping. Would I order again? Selectively.

We also asked for just 2 side things of salsa verde sauce. I walk in to pick up the order and a $43 tab is sitting in my face. The Nachos are miss priced and were $17 each. Not only that. The little side sauce I asked for cost us another $6. Completely outrageous. Not only all that. We look at our nachos and there's not even one lick of cheese on it. When I get nachos I expect to see more cheese than anything. They just covered the whole thing in lettuce. (Yes I got my pico on the side and I'm glad I did) We got specs of shredded cheese. As well as the whole bottom of the container being wet leaving every chip completely soggy to the point it just dropped back on the plate when picked up. Just the worst nachos we've ever had. Never trying this place again.
