I ate here after spending the day at sequoia national park, and wow it really hit the spot!! I came in a party of 6, and everyone really loved their food and the service was friendly and welcoming. The inside decor was cute, but to be honest with you, the patio is really just peak ambiance. We didn't sit outside because it was too cold, but I would definitely recommend sitting outside if you can! The outside patio has string lights, and is overlooking the river. The sound of the river is so relaxing. The Brussels sprouts appetizer was TO DIE FOR!! I have never had Brussels sprouts so delicious , I find myself wanting to try to make them at home since I live 3hrs away and won't be able to make it back anytime soon.

Stopped here on our last day after being out in Sequoia NP. Was a bit worried of our attire but this place is pretty casual. Parking can be a struggle since the parking situation is small. Once inside we opted for indoor seating to enjoy the cool air conditioning even though the outdoor patio looked fun with what looked like misters. The menu offered a variety of dishes. We got the shrimp tacos, burger, the flank steak special and the kids grilled cheese with chicken wings to start off with. Our drinks came out and soon our food right after. Service was fast! Food was delicious. Steak was tender and the burger was juicy. The only issue we had were the constant flies swarming around our table. We were mainly guarding our food as we ate which was comical. I get that it's attached to the outdoor area but still.... Aside from that the staff was friendly. The service & food was spot on.

A very charming place to visit. I would highly recommend eating outside if you plan to dine here. You'll get great views of the river and mountains. My partner and I came for dinner on a Friday night and it was packed. Service was really slow, but very kind. We tried the mushroom risotto, the fried chicken sando, the lemon bar, and their chocolate dessert. Everything was very tasty. We loved the cheesiness and the way the mushrooms were prepared in the risotto. The fried chicken had a bit too much horseradish that took over the whole sandwich, but was still ok. We were left wanting more lemon flavor in the lemon bar, there was more crust than lemon. I adored the chocolate dessert. It was like a thick dark chocolate mousse. It was heavenly. I'm happy we stopped here for dinner.

Oh my, yes! We ended up here because the restaurant where we usually eat on our occasional visits to Three Rivers was closed. We'll be back by choice. The menu isn't extensive, but there's some nice variety, from crisped Brussel sprouts to burgers to a spaghetti and meatball special on our visit. The Buckaroo Burgers were large, juicy enough to drip steadily, and served on delicious soft, toasted rolls. Skinny and sweet potato fries were crisp. Our granddaughter's grilled cheese sandwich was loaded with cheese, on thick bread soft in the middle and crisped on the outside to "perfection" in her description. There is a large outdoor table area that overlooks the river (and some window tables inside) that afforded us a beautiful setting sun over the mountain on the other side. It's only open for a few hours and not every day, so check first. But definitely worth a stop!

One of the only 3 restaurants in town and by far the best one! Quite a good menu, a few vegan and vegetarian options. Food was okay, some items better than others but overall good. Nice outdoor patio (not covered). Good service!

We arrived a little after they opened and was met by a very nice hostess and sat outside. The view was amazing and so was the food. I think this is the best place to eat in Three Rivers. Tooling forward to returning for many reasons.

There aren't a ton of restaurants in Three Rivers, so this one will likely be on your list to try if you're in the area. And I think in general you're gonna get exactly what you expect. Food-wise- it's OK. It's not special or anything, but it's tasty enough and prepared OK. Plus there's something pretty much every member of the family will enjoy. You won't leave unhappy... Plus it's right on the river with really amazing views if you dine outside (which you should of course). Overall it's a win-win...

Food is really good considering it's isolated location. My friend and I stopped in after hiking Sequoia NP and ordered their special (salmon with farro) and it was out of this world. Perfectly cooked. We also got their lemon bar for dessert and it was one of my top 5 best lemon bars ever. We stopped in again the next day and ordered steak and pasta. Steak was good but didn't stand out. Pasta was really basic. Not bad but nothing to write home about. Service was PHENOMENAL! Our waitresses were super friendly, made the place feel like a friend's home, and even gave us a tiramisu on the house The place is small but excellent location and homey feel. It's worth a stop if you're in Three Rivers.

This is a great place to go and grab some drinks. It's right next to the Kaweah River and has a great vibe! They have mostly outdoor seating with picnic tables under a shed or umbrellas and many mist machines to keep you cool on a hot day! They also have some games like axe throwing (not real axes, velcro type board for the fake axes to stick), corn hole, etc. However, the food was quite disappointing. We tried a bunch of vegetarian items, so it may be just that vegetarian dishes are not their forte. - Curried squash skewers - I wish these had been charred more. Also, the sauce was quite bland and didn't go very well with the squash. - Things that make you go hmmm - This is hummus with roasted baby carrots. The hummus and roasted carrots were ok. It's very hard to eat hummus with roasted carrots though, because they are very soft and can't really be dipped well in the hummus. Also, there were 6 baby carrots and a whole lot of hummus, so you end up having a lot of hummus and nothing to eat it with. - Crispy Brussel sprouts - This was quite good, especially the cranberries. - Fries - Surprisingly not that great. They were too soft.

I'm so done with you, Ol Buckaroo! If I could give you negative stars, I would. I've been a patron here for about ten years. They were just the food truck and patio when I started coming here. Food is good! Ambiance is great. But they're NEVER open. I have driven up with my family numerous times to find they are closed. I check their socials, I check yelp, and I check their website, says they're open only to drive up and they're closed. The Sign on THEIR DOOR lists their hours as open. SMH!! Not worth my time, gas, and mileage on my car to come up here. Quit playing in our face, Ol Buckaroo!

The first red flag should have been when we arrived at 10 a.m. and the front door was still locked, despite there being two groups on the patio and a couple of cars in the lot. We brushed it off, thinking maybe we'd just missed the breakfast rush. The service was slow, but that wasn't the real issue. The food quality was absolutely bottom of the barrel. Our orders were incorrect, they were out of basic items like milk, and the French toast tasted like it had been made with toilet water. It was completely inedible. After the French toast meals were removed, we still walked out paying over $70 for just drinks and two kids' meals. Completely unacceptable. Never again--we should've trusted our gut and left the moment we started questioning it. Save yourself the disappointment and go literally anywhere else. I ordered my food around 8:30 pm tonight. Lady on phone said it would be ready in 15min. I got there about 8:50 and the food had just come out. Now about the food.. first off I have never been to a place that you can order steak with refried beans and Mexican rice. Lol..So I knew I had to order it! I ordered the rib eye steak, beans and veggies. I wasn't expecting anything great but let me tell you..the food was very good. I first took a bite of the medium rare steak and it was cooked perfect! Then I had to try those beans! And they were really good and the veggies were perfectly soft but not too soft. Usually when I eat at Texas Roadhouse their veggies are always too crunchy. So this was a big surprise. I will be here one more day and more than likely I will be coming back to eat in their outdoor dining area. Sometimes you just have to give something a chance.

The portion was perfect for me since I don't like a huge breakfast, but it was still really filling and tasted great. The service was excellent. Our server was super kind and friendly to me and my friends, and the whole experience felt very welcoming. It had that small-town breakfast spot vibe where it feels like all the locals come to start their day, and even as visitors we felt right at home. The ambiance really adds to the charm. But there was something we had not considered, we were going to be going to a place that required us to be fresh and ready to receive the wonder of place by a lack and we only had the energy for an angry stop at a gas station. So this place I visited when I was tired and that kind of gunked up the experience. If I would have gone with more energy to fully open my eyes than this experience would have been wondrous. When I booked the reservation I did it because it was a place by a lake. I enjoy water front dining and I usually use an ocean for scenery and today I was in a place where I could use a large creek. And since I was not going with any specific expectations that lake hit me like a bucket of wow. I remember like seeing the mouth of the lake going down like actual rocks. Like I was seeing the waters that people raft on with commitment to the outdoors. It felt like I had traveled into a place where trees were purest, bird melodies were the only noise in town (besides the water running in the creek), and cabins belonged to those who called the mountains home. I was in a novel and for some reason I felt like it was written by Twain. And that is really what I can say about this place. That is mostly what I remember the beauty of the creek. I wanted to spend more time there, I could have walked it, they had like a lounge but I did not. But I do remember the forested view that went on, and the roaring, jagged leg being a central character other than that I have small things to say. I remember the salad being ok. Denise and I shared a dish, I can't remember why but we did not eat the whole thing. It was inherently bad. But this could have been an off night, or just not the dish of the place, and really you go here for the lake, and the food was great in some ways just not in this specific way. I went to this place a few weeks ago, and, if I had not make it clear I remember the experience of being with the lake. So go here for that experience and let the rest just fall into place.
