I found this tailor on Yelp and messaged them about a wedding dress alteration that was needed in a few days time. The owner responded back quickly and asked to see the dress in person. I was there first thing in the morning and was happy to see that she had many customers that trusted her with their clothing items. My dress had to be taken in, but it was a tricky job as there was only once piece of lace and beading for the entire top. She pinned it and discussed options for how to go about altering in, but in the end I told her that I trusted her. Turns out I was right, my dress was perfect and she even added a ribbon on the back to tie and help make things feel more secure. I had to deal with the AMAZING traffic due to 64E being temporarily blocked. I tried to go all the way around and time was not on my side. I dropped off my things at 9:00AM and the provided same day service and I had to be back at 4:00PM to pick it up. The price was fairly low, being that I need a quick turnaround. These wonderful people, not only stayed for after closing for me to pick up the things, but they were nice, gentle, and ultimately the best I have ever come across. I messaged Oky's Tailor on Yelp to get an estimate to hem a tulle bridesmaid dress. They were very quick to respond and very helpful. I took my dress in the next day and was quickly greeted and asked to put the dress on to measure how much of the bottom needed to come off. They provided a quick turnaround of just over a week at a reasonable price. I picked my dress up and inspected the hem - everything looked great. I went home and put the dress on and again thought the hem looked great but then noticed a weird bunching of the tulle in the top of the dress. It's very clear my dress was torn while in their care and they decided not to say anything about it but attempted to fix it in hopes that I wouldn't notice. I now have no time to get a new dress and there's nothing that can be done to fix what was done to my dress. It isn't terrible but it is noticeable in a few different areas of the top of my dress. Very disappointed that they wouldn't even let me know they made a mistake like that. I can understand tulle is a delicate material to work with but I'd expect at least to be notified that something happened to my dress. read more

I went here many moons ago when I was taking tae kwon do and needed my gi hemmed. Oky was very sweet and personable and I always got top quality stitching done when getting my pants hemmed. I have also had my scrub pants done as well. I have always been very pleased and it's always been done in an expeditious fashion. Fast forward to four years in the present. The quality is still superb but the owner is no longer Oky, but Landi. Landi is awesome too and now the owner. This is a great tailor shop that is reliable and affordable. There are two changing rooms to try on the clothes you need altered. Typically dependent on what you are having done I've experienced turn around of items to be 3-5 days. read more

I taped all patches on vest in the place they need to be told her nothing higher than american flag one patch 1" higher than flag had to make two trips over there to get vest on day it was to be done they had the vest for a week to sew on four small patches I will cut the patch off of the vest my self and see if I can find someone who listens read more

I don't know where to begin. I held off getting a dress for my son's wedding so I could lose weight. I couldn't find a dress that I liked so my friend gave me the perfect dress but it was too big.
