The lady was very sweet and kind! She made sure I got my pants fitted before I had to leave for a wedding in San Diego. They however only accept cash, but you do not have to pay until the day of pick up. I paid $15 to get my pants hemmed and I think it is very worth it. read more

One week ago, I had written on my calendar, "Best day of my life." I was going to marry my soulmate, best friend and forever guy. And you know what? It was. It was a perfect day. We had a very tough week leading up to it, and as challenging as it was, that's how wonderful our wedding day turned out to be. This day could not have happened without our vendors, who each had a very important role. I want to thank and acknowledge them all. Thank you, Anna at JJ Tailoring & Alterations. You altered mine and Jamie's dresses to perfection. Every interaction with you was positive. If you ever need alterations, Anna is fantastic. I would highly recommend her if you need alterations. Anna is a blessing. read more

Walked in with the concern that 3 of my 5-11 cargo pants had holes on the inside of the legs and needed them fixed. She recommended a patch on the inside to strengthen the fabric from tearing again. I went with her recommendation because I don't have a clue on anything tailor related. About 25 per pair of pants (the pants are very expensive so I couldn't just buy another pair). Amazing price considering she put two long patches along the seem of the pants and you can't even tell! They don't rub on my legs and cause in sort of irritation. She got them done very fast and pick up was easy. If I need another tailor, there's no where i'd rather go from now on! Thank you!! (This was about a month ago but forgot to write a review) read more

Would not recommend - one pair of shorts (plain cotton) hemmed 1/2 inch, $17, then had a plain dress (not lined or fancy) needed hemmed 2 inches, she wanted $45.. the hem on my shorts looked wobbly - go elsewhere read more

Professional, kind, and excellent workmanship. I took a pair of Lane Bryant wide-leg, linen blend pants to have hemmed... they were dragging on the ground something fierce, and I didn't want to wear heels in them. I came in on a Tuesday and told the seamstress what I needed; she had me try on the pants and pinned them where they needed hemming. I told her I needed them by the following Monday. No problem! The workmanship was great, and I now have a comfortable pair of linen blend wide-leg pants that go with just about everything I own. Thank you, JJ Tailoring! read more

I had a dress that needed to be hemmed super fast. Me being dumb waited the last minute to get this done. Omg I am so happy that this place was able to get the job done and on time. It took her ONE day to hem my dress and I couldn't believe what a beautiful job she did. I ended up giving her a HUGE tip. She deserved all of it and if I had more money I would have gave her more. The dress would have been super long if it wasn't for her. Go here for your hemming needs. Also she only takes cash so make sure you bring that. read more

175 dollars for a total of three inches that's combined for three pieces of clothing. I show up for scheduled pickup time and the lady said oh I'm just now starting it and I dropped it off 9 days ago. The quality was okay however she didn't pay attention to the armpit area so the shirt/jackets rise with a small amount of movement. read more

The lady who owns this business is so nice and thoughtful. When I was getting a sweatshirt shortened, she was worried about how it would fit on me and actually suggested to not make it as short. So basically she was suggesting the option that she would make less money for. The sweatshirt turned out great and I will definitely go there for any clothes in the future. read more

Great job! Super fast & convenient! Definitely recommend for anything needed quickly!

I tore a small hole in the sleeve of my dress shirt. It is black with thin black stripes running the length of the sleeve. I needed a pro to repair it. I walked in and showed the lady the problem. I expected to be dropping it off for pick up later in the week, but she had me in and out in 10 minutes. The repair is barely noticeable. I am very happy with it. The service was outstanding. And for only $2! I will definitely be using JJ Tailoring in the future . read more

Came here to get some scrub pants for work stitched up. I had to get the pants mended (fabric added) and sewn together. I wasn't expecting the young women to do them same day but she did. I was really grateful for this. She only accepted cash. Not that big of a deal. I went across the street to the convenience store and got cash out.. they are on a busy street so depending on the direction you're coming from you may need to make a u-turn to get to the business. I came here close to closing around 5pm and I think she closes at 5:30pm. When she offers to sew my pants before closing I was shocked. If I have anymore issues with clothes that need to be sewn I will definitely come here again. read more

I came here because my sister had her wedding dress altered here, and after seeing her dress, I trusted Ms. Anna with mine. I needed a hem on the two layers as well as a special bustle. For my style of wedding dress, the turnaround time was only 2 weeks. She did such a great job with the delicate material, and is by far way more affordable than other bridal seamstresses in the area! She is also super sweet! I highly recommend getting alterations here, just bring cash. I'll be coming here again for future alterations. read more
